I got a new computer and now Filezilla does not work

Every time I try to login I see this

Status: Waiting to retry...
Status: Resolving address of
Status: Connecting to
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Error: Connection closed by server
Error: Could not connect to server

I've looked up other tickets but none of them have had an answer to this problem. I have used filezilla for three years to manage a work website and have never had a problem. I really need to find a solution this week.
