- I have ONE account that is not 1and1, and it works. So it is 1and1, not Filezilla. But I have all the settings they provide, and no host that is on 1and1 works. Any help figuring the issue would be appreciated. Yes, I will contact them.
- Below is using a newer setting as they post on their site. Note that they say protocol FTPS. Is that the same as SFTP which is on the Filezilla dialog?
Status: Connecting to home466635377.1and1-data.host:21...
Response: fzSftp started, protocol_version=8
Command: open "u73061467@…" 21
Error: Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity
Error: Could not connect to server

SFTP and FTPS are two entirely different protocols that have absolutely nothing in common, if you look past the similar name and the identical purpose.
Note that port 21 is reserved for explicit FTPS, it must not be used for SFTP.
Please post a log of a connection attempt.
