Resizing the message log window and transfers cause problems

Description
If you start transferring a lot of files and then
resize the message log window, the files currently
being transferred return an error (I've got 8
simulatenous ports open).
Once these files have reported their error, operation
continues as normal.

I could not reproduce it, resizing the panes during
transfers had no effect on the transfers.
