Quickconnect Connection Type

Description
It would be great if you could set the quickconnect connection type in settings, so it defaults to plain ftp instead of FTP over TLS.
While increased security is always good, many hosts still do not default to ftp over TLS due to compatibility issues. It would increase productivity to quickly connect to these hosts instead of having to add each to the site manager.

Plain FTP is going the way of the Dodo. In future versions of FileZilla it will be much more difficult to select plain FTP.
