Connection problems — at Initial Version

Description
I am unable to connect to the following server:
sftp://ftp.menard-inc.com.
After putting in the user name and password it comes up with the following errors:
Error: Authentication failed.
Error: Critical error
Error: Could not connect to server
I also am unable to upgrade to the latest version. I have tried downloading it through the FileZilla application but it never saves it.
