Times out when "Retrieving directory listing..."

Description

Newest version hangs retrieving directory listing on several servers, but not all. Strangely, godaddy ftp works.

Normal access with other FTP programs like Cyberduck, so it's definitely FileZilla problem.

Pain in the butt asking for certificate approval every time. What's up with that?

This version is awful. Wish I could go back to previous.

Same here connecting to one server. I still have an older versio (3.9.0.6). They both use the same connection out of the server manager.

As it is german.
The error message means timed out connecting after 20 sec of inactivity.
And could not retrieve folder content.

This errors appeared with version 3.10.0.1 so I use the old one to connect to my server.

Status: newclosed

It's definitely a problem with the server.

Your server advertises support for explicit FTP over TLS, yet it is behind a firewall that isn't configured for FTP over TLS.

Contact your server administrator or server hosting provider for assistance so that the server and server firewall configuration can be fixed.
