duplicating files during upload

Description (last modified by )
Several times with all version of FZ I have encountered messages saying the source file already exists in an otherwise empty directory I am populating.
Searching the source for duplicates does not produce any. This most usually happens with very large uploads (3000 or more files) The timestamp on the source file is always older than the destination one. My solution has been to set "overwrite if source is newer which leaves the original transfer alone but the problem for me is it often takes hours to do this and sometimes it is next day before I find the message. FZ version 1.10.11 also shows occasional failed transfers :Could not start transfer.

Still happens as of client 3.18.0 and server 0.9.41 beta.
While uploading a directory of over 10,000 files into an empty directory, several times I get a prompt saying "Target file already exists". The source file has the correct date and size, while the target file always has a size of 2,920 bytes and the current time (according to the server clock). Perhaps it's worth noting that the server clock has the wrong time, it's ahead by almost one hour.

FileZilla Server 0.9.41 is outdated and no longer supported.
Please attach a log showing the transfer failures.
