Description
Hi. Filezilla, great, actually.
Recently, and continuing on the just-released 3.3.2, info below, the message log from initial connection often scrolls upwards out of its pane, obliterating the text areas and buttons at the normal top of screen.
I managed to capture the hopefully enclosed pic where it doing so less than usual, so you can see the effect in its whole context. Usually it completely masks, overwriting with text log results.
By the time you see this happen, it no longer does -- subsequent logging for ftp transfers stays in the proper log area. It seems to occur then only during the initial connection.
Thanks, and best - it's a great tool.

Known problem, appears to be a bug in Windows or the used graphics card drivers. There is nothing I can do.

Well, why did it work perfectly until about 2 weeks ago?
There was no graphics update on the machine at that time, and no other program exhibits any false graphics behaviour at all.
Graphics are very standard - newish dual-CPU laptop, with Intel embedded graphics, no special chip. I think its Mobile GL40 Express family.

meant to say, I've been using FileZilla more than a year, without issue in any way.

Well, I don't know why electrice would say this. Maybe because of the detail in this report.
In my view, both 5190 and 4968 identify exactly this same bug.
It's as if the scrolling mask region is in a higher-nested pane, when this happens, so that it is constrained, but including the Quick Connect bar and the Toolbar. Note that it does not write over the top menubar.
A further clue is that it either happens just during initial login to the ftp site, or only occurs there because the transaction rate is so fast - impossible to tell.
If it is the rate of transactions that gives visibility the bug, then it may be a race condition where the log pane starts writing before its mask region is set up.
As another clue, I've noticed that the overwrite problem is much worse when using the 'Reconnects to last used server' button, than when choosing a Site Manager menu option for the site.
Thanks for your attention on this, and regards,
Clive

p.s. had another look at the picture I included, and somehow it is actually showing only a very minor version of this problem. I was in a hurry, and am now not sure the screen capture caught all that was on screen.
This may be why electice didn't think it was the same bug.
The overwrite can be as minor as the picture shows, just hitting the bottom of the QuickConnect bar, but typically overwrites all but the text entry items of QuickConnect, and continues into overwrite of all or most of the button bar above.

Yes, it was fixed very nicely, some time ago, and stays that way. A great program, FileZilla.
