mass processing

while reading the details of a transfer job, filezilla
should keep the session open. at the moment it does
not. some mass transfer jobs take about serveral hours
(!) to be read in.
whiy does filezille first read the whole directory tree
in memory before (!) beginning the transfer? why
doesn't it process the tree during transfer recursively?
