Description
On the Source Forge home page for FileZilla
http://filezilla.sourceforge.net/
You should have a sentance saying that FileZilla is for
Windows.
It took me quite a while to figure out what OS it was for.
I can't figure out how else to contact the person who
looks after the page, so that that is why I am puttin
gin a support request.

The introduction text of the FileZilla wiki <http://filezilla-project.org/wiki/> has all the information already. But it still has to be copied/linked to the two website "start pages" at <http://filezilla-project.org/> and <http://filezilla.sourceforge.net/>.

FileZilla 2 is an FTP client for Windows only, and FileZilla Server is an FTP server for Windows only. However, FileZilla 3 is developed with portability in mind and is available for Windows, Unix and MacOS as well, see <http://filezilla-project.org/>.
Something like that still needs to be added to the main page at <http://filezilla.sourceforge.net/>.
