i have the same problem:

want to upload only files of a special type (== of some
extensions) of a whole directory-structure
but in these directories are many different types

would be great if it was possible to have a dialog
that enables you to choose all files with/without
certain extensions in that directory-structure

as there was already a request to that (466129) hopefully this
request gets a higher priority !

On a similar note:
I'd like to exclude certain files / directories from being transferred.
Examples:

exclude all directories / sub-directories named .svn
exclude all files named .cvs*
exclude all files named *.png

The mentioned request #1547 "Request directory filters" has been implemented already. See further details there.

FileZilla 3 can filter directories based on given patterns. Only visible items will be transferred, if a directory is selected for transfer.
