remote file date

Description
Is it possible to keep the modified date of a remote file
the same as the file on the local system. At the
moment I am having to touch -t all files on the remote
system.

It is only possible to preserve the date of downloaded files,
you have to enable "Preserve date/time of downloaded files"
on the file transfer page in the settings dialog.
The FTP protocol does not specify any method to preserve
the date of uploaded files.
