Description

It would be very nice if you could drag a file from
the local or remote panes onto a folder icon in the
other pane to upload or download to it. As it is now,
you must chdir to a directory before you can upload a
file to it. If that directory has a lot of files in
it, it can take a long time to download the directory
listing. It seems like it would be relatively simple
to implement. Other FTP clients, like Bullet Proof
FTP, let you do that.

Thanks.

After switching from SmartFTP it was a shock for me to find
out that FileZilla does not have that feature :-(

I agree. Love the program, but the ability to move/copy
files around [however it is implemented] is sorely missing.
I occasionally upload files to the wrong place, then I have
to delete them and reupload in order to get them to the
right place.

cheers.

I have to archive items constantly, rmote file dragging would
really help this process. Its not an option to download 30-40
meg of files so I can put them into another folder.

This is the biggest problem I have with an otherwise fantastic
app

This is probably THE most useful feature that's missing in
FileZilla and the only one that keeps me switching to other
apps. IMHO it should be given HIGH priority! Please consider
this. Thanks!
