Logging only creates 3 files and deletes the rest

Description
regardless of what i set the log limit to it deletes all but the last three. Only started doing this last week and i upgraded to the latest version weeks ago. Going to set to do not delete and see if it makes a difference

Hi... Since unticking the "delete old log files after" box i amnow up to 5 log files so they are no being purged. I will backup the logs and tick the box \again and set it to 999 to see what happens...

So I set the delete old log files after to 500 days and it is now keeping 5 days worth.
Possible using the first character only?
Have set it to 600 days now to see if there are 6 on Monday...

You have a size limit set in addition to a time limit.
If the total size of all log files exceed the set size limit, the oldest log files get deleted.
