#3742 Edit option grayed out in local context menu normal rejected 16 years 16 years
Description

FileZilla Client Version 3.1.2 Build date: 2008-08-30

Context menu to "Edit" a file on the local site window is grayed out if not connected to a remote site. "Open" works but doesn't use the defined editor. Once connected to a remote site the Local Site Window "Edit" option becomes available.

I noticed this right away when I first upgraded from version 2. This bug previously reported 5 weeks ago as ticket #3637 "Edit option not available" and closed by sf-robot. That ticket stated: "This problem began when I updated from 3.0.11.0."

#3751 Queue sorting differences between recursive and direct downloads normal rejected 16 years 16 years
Description

Please do not misunderstand: this is not a repeated "inverse queue" bug; rather an inconsistency wich (at least for me and many people i know) almost everytime creates time-consuming work of priority rescheduling: If I manually create a local directory and download the _contents_ of a remote directory into it, they are perfectly in alphabetical order in the queue. If I directly download the remote folder, the contained files are being downloaded in inverse order compared to the above method. This is particularily neccesary for sequentially numbered image strips, sounds, etc.

#3752 Timestamps not fully preserved normal rejected 16 years 16 years
Description

Hello,

When setting the option "Preserve timestamps of transferred files", it is incorrectly preserving the modified timestamp by leaving off the seconds information (they are all 00 after transferring).

This causes a problem with our file synchronization software making it think that every file has been modified from the original.

We are using Filezilla client version 3.1.2 and Filezilla server version 0.9.27.

Please let me know if I need to provide a sample log.

Thanks so much for your help!

Sincerely, Jason

#3757 Skip directories/files on mass download normal rejected 16 years 16 years
Description

When I download folder(s) with many subfolders, often FileZilla Client finish downloading when many sub-directories not downloaded. More exactly it not added many folders to queue, because in task panel all finished success. I guess there is a problem with loop scan of sub-folders.

Version of FileZilla: 3.1.2 OS: Windows Vista 64 (but as I remember it was on Windows XP 32 bit too, guess on any Windows system)

#3759 upload video file broken normal rejected 16 years 10 years

#3766 FTP Client has problems to list directories on VSFTPD Server normal rejected 16 years 16 years
Description

I have a VSFTPD Server on Linux, configurated to allow FTPES connections only (Explicit TLS), through port 990. The newer versions of FileZilla Client (since 3.0.11.1) can connect to the server, but then, occurs a fail when the client tries to list the directories in the server. It shows a message saying that it "could not read from transfer socket: ECONNABORTED - Connection aborted". And then, it shows another message: "failed on recover listing of directories from server".

I'm using the version 3.0.11, because it is the last version released in wich I can get effectively a connection to the server. Please understand: the versions 3.0.11 and earlier can connect successfully to the server.

#3767 Renaming a file aborts the connection normal rejected 16 years 16 years
Description

When connected to a remote host site, I tried to rename a file there. After I corrected the filename there (renamed it), I hit return to confirm the edit. The connection then aborted. I'm using Fizezilla 3.1.2. Here's the log: Command: LIST Response: 150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for /bin/ls. Response: 226 Transfer complete. Status: Directory listing successful Status: Renaming '/httpdocs/Pictures/2008-06-08 Siberian elm branchxsmall.jpg' to '/httpdocs/Pictures/2008-06-08 Siberian elm branch-small.jpg' Command: RNFR 2008-06-08 Siberian elm branchxsmall.jpg Error: Disconnected from server: ECONNABORTED - Connection aborted

#3768 Reserve Timedatestamp not working normal rejected 16 years 16 years
Description

Sorry I have had to reissue this report.

The file transfer is not preserving the file time date stamp.

I have the option selected.

My client is Windows FileZilla version 3.1.2

Problem exist when uploading to server (Both Unix and Windows) file date time stamp is preserved when down loading from server to clientbiut not from client to server.

I consider this a Major bug as it seriously impacts on data management.

#3769 Wrong file size in dir listing normal rejected 16 years 16 years
Description

The real size of a file is 7746463744 bytes but filezilla shows a size of 3451496448 which is exactly 4*29 bytes less. Seems that file-size handling is only 32bit somewhere.

#3774 Can't set transfers timeout value. normal rejected 16 years 10 years
Description

#3776 Download of file resumes after completed to download more than 100% normal rejected 16 years 15 years
Description

I have a Windows 2003 FTP server that I connect to and download files from on a regular basis. Recently when I download compressed files (zip, 7z, etc) with FileZilla it downloads more than 100%. The process is as follows

  • Connect to server
  • Browse to folder
  • Add 2 or more files to queue (I have 2 concurrent downloads enabled)
  • Files download
  • Download progress reaches 100%
  • Download completes and then resumes and continues download until I force a cancel (I have seen it download 3x the original file size)

Here is a snippet from the FTP log:

Status: Starting download of /sanderson/cdrive/StorageViz/StorageVizCache_EYECATCHERWS2_200808150010.zip Command: CWD /sanderson/cdrive/StorageViz Response: 250 CWD command successful. Command: RETR StorageVizCache_EYECATCHERWS2_200808150010.zip

If you notice the "restarting" line -- that byte count is the actual file size of the completed download.

Note: I have tried with with a client of Windows XP and Vista

#3779 FileZilla Client 3.1.2 crashes after connecting to FTP server normal rejected 16 years 15 years

FileZilla Client 3.1.2 segfaults shortly after it has connected to an FTP server.

I don’t think this is important, but the last lines I can read in the log window are:

This part of my gdb session should be helpful for those who understand it …:

#3782 Computer restarts while uploading files normal rejected 16 years 16 years
Description

Using FileZilla 3.1.2

While uploading files to the xbox on the local network, the computer restarts. This error first occurred with version 3.1.1.1 and since then, it has been updated and the problem persists. It did give an error message of being unable to read the filezilla.xml file, so after checking this and seeing that it was empty, with a file size of 7.41kb, I deleted it and reinstalled. The private data has been cleared, all previous settings have been cleared. Any help would be appreciated. Failing this, I will use another FTP client, which is something I would rather avoid.

Thanks.

#3785 Rename file sometimes makes filelist items unselectable normal rejected 16 years 16 years
Description

Maybe once in every 5-10 times I rename a file, I will lose the ability to select/highlight, etc. the files in either the remote or local pane. At this point, Filezilla becomes unusable. The only way to recover is to relaunch the program or to disconnect and then reconnect.

This issue may have started with Filezilla version 3.

#3791 Open option on local right-click doesn't work properly. low rejected 16 years 16 years
Description

Using FZ 3.1.2.

On the local side, when right-clicking a file and choosing open, the associated executable opens, but the filename isn't passed to it, or is passed incorrectly.

Example: I right-click a PHP file which should open in Dreamweaver. DW opens, but acts as if a new file is being opened. Does not appear as if a filename was passed to it.

#3793 Not well supporting Chinese characters normal rejected 16 years 16 years
Description

Here is an apparent bug. When logging into a Chinese FTP site and entering a folder named in Chinese characters, the "Remote site" does not display the path normally. In more detail, it always does not recognize Chinese characters, and thus shows some confusing ones. I believe that this software will be more attractive if this bug is fixed.

#3795 Filezilla Client Not Working with z/VM 5.3 in SSL Mode normal rejected 16 years 10 years
Description

The Windows Filezilla client fails when connecting to a z/VM 5.3 FTP server configured for SSL and FIPS. The z/VM 5.3 FTP server is written to use RFC1123. I have tested Filezilla versions 3.0.9, 3.1.2, and 3.1.3 with the same results. I'm able to successfully connect to the z/VM 5.3 FTP server using the Linux "ftp-ssl" client, the WS_FTP client, the Hummingbird FTP client, and the z/OS FTP client.

#3796 FileZilla tries to read floppy drive on startup low rejected 16 years 10 years
Description

This is more an annoyance than a bug, but I'd imagine it would affect anyone who has a floppy drive installed on their PC.

It seems that all versions >= 3.0 try to read my floppy drive on startup. The application does not respond until the drive light goes off. This obviously makes the application slow to load, every time.

#3804 Reconnect is not enabled. normal rejected 16 years 14 years
Description

Running Windows XP SP3 on HP m7250n media center desktop. Using Dialup on internal modem. Attempting to transmit 15-17 meg files and receiving server times out after 15 minutes of perceived no activity, including sending data to it. On previous version I was able to restart the download by clicking on the "R" at the top of the screen. With this version, the "R" remains grayed out all the time, and clicking it has no effect. I have had to resort to clicking "Process Queue" twice to get the program to reconnect to the receiving server and continue the transfer. Any other action results in a restart of sending the file, and overwriting what was there before rather than appending the new material to the end of the all ready received file.

Here is a listing of the message log down to the first time I had to re-connect to the server.

It tells me that I've been disconnected but the files still seem to be uploading with the progress bar. Why do I keep getting this message?

#3822 Time outs on (offline) local folders low rejected 16 years 15 years
Description

Explorer shows my R:\ "drive" and subdirs without delay, even though some dirs point to offline resources. Selecting such a dir however makes Win XP Pro hang for about half a minute. So I make sure I stay clear of those.

However, When FileZilla's shows R:\ (on startup) it freezes the system right away. The dirs are probably queried in a way that needs them to be opened.

Can querying the local folder be done without opening the subfolders?

I realize that having the offline dirs removed would solve my problem - but I'm not authorized.

I also realize that ticket 3003 (feature req. prio: low) would solve the problem. But asynchronous folder display is very hard indeed. It was the one promise that made me try Vista. No luck, even the MS wizs can't do it, apparently.

#3832 Filezilla Mac Unreliable critical rejected 16 years 10 years
Description

Hi,

I'm often using Filezilla because it's fast, and I have Mac Leopard 10.5.5.

When I start uploading files (joomla installation) with 8 connections (my occurance this time) I was finished and tried to install Joomla and it said files not found...

I had this issue a couple of times before, but now i was in the moment.

It's like Filezilla is skipping files, because when i uploaded the whole stuff the 2nd time and clicked the skip for the uploads that exist, it uploaded a couple of files that were forgotten the first time and no error is reported.

This is really weird, how and why this happens.

There is also no error visible in the log file, maybe filezilla skips files on mac?

The new version (3.1.3.1) is doing a lot better already in performance. I had multiple occurances of this bug in older versions too.

Thanks, Patrick

ps, i don't think i've had this ever happen on filezilla PC.

#3838 Wrong display of Time/Date normal rejected 16 years 16 years
Description

I am currently running the latest version of the Filezilla-Client and the latest Version of the vsftpd-server.

Setup for vsftpd is set so "use local time", means, it should display the time and date on the server.

After uploading a file with filezilla, the change/creation-Date and Time for the new or changed file is set two hours into the future.

Trying the same with other ftp-clients like fireftp, smartftp, total commander etc, the changedate and time is displayed correct.

I could change the Timezone and Setting for each Server within the servermanager, but due to the fact of summer/winter-time this is a bit annoying.

Greetings

#3869 Preserve timestamps of transferred files does not preserve for uploaded files normal rejected 16 years 15 years
Description

Windows platform, FileZilla client 3.1.3.1 of 2008.09.09

If a file is uploaded, the "Last Modified" time is the time of the upload, not the time of the original file. Toggling the setting of "Preserve timestamps...." does not affect the timestamp of the uploaded file. No problems appear in the log except that there is no attempt to reset the timestamp or otherwise protect the timestamp of the original file.

Uploading the same file to the same server/account using SmartFTP instead of FileZilla preserves the timestamp so the server-side is okay. -m

#3874 filezilla and visual studio normal rejected 16 years 15 years
Description

I use filezilla to upload deployed projects created with visual studio. first I create a project in VS2005. When it is built it creates a new folder. if this folder already exsists, it will delete the contents of this folder and fill it with the new built project. To upload the created dll I have to open the bin directory, select the dll and put it on the web. So filezilla an VS are both open. In Filezilla the bin directory is still selected.

Then I go back to VS, change something in my code and say 'rebuild'. So VS tries to delete the contents of the previous created folder. But because the bin dir is still selected in Filezilla, it cannot delete the bin map. Even in Explorer I cannot delete it or even see the contents. Even after closing VS and Filezilla, I cannot delete the bin directory.

So I have to restart the computer

kind regards

#3876 Filezilla's GUI in Linux (Gnome) is buggy normal rejected 16 years 10 years
Description

Hello,

After installing a new (the default 8.10 one, with the 8.10 GTK engine : "gtk2-engines-murrine") theme on my OS (i use GNOME + Compiz), i noticed Filezilla's GUI was having trouble with it.

My problem is that the font of the text in the "file explorers" (local and remote) is light-grey, while the theme background is just... white.

On my theme, the light-grey is the text colour for taskbars and such things, which all have a dark background. The area with white background is meant to go with dark text colour.

So i think the problem is that for these text areas in Filezilla, the text color that is picked is not the one that should be used with the background colour (grey+white instead of black+white). This is likely to happen in a lot of themes, including one of the default themes of Ubuntu 8.10 coming in less than 3 weeks.

I hope you can correct this bug, it's likely to be half a line to write, but as it's pretty annoying, it'd be cool that you do it fast, or tell Ubuntu devs at launchpad.org how to solve it and add it to our repository.

Greetings, SD.

#3888 Deleting a site in the site manager doesn't work in a certain case normal rejected 16 years 16 years
Description

Go into the site manager, and either create a new site in there, or test on an existing one. Then, delete the site, and close the site manager window. If you go back to the site manager, your site will still be there. For the change to stick, you need to either push the "Connection" or "OK" button.

I notice the same behavior can be seen for other things, like create a new site, then don't push the "Connection" or "OK" button. Close the window, and the new site will not have been saved.

#3889 sound crackling and popping during downloads normal rejected 16 years 16 years
Description

Filezilla v 3.1.3.1

When playing music, e.g., a FLAC file under Winamp, there is a terrible crackling and popping whenever I start downloading a file in Filezilla version 3.1.3.1. This error is reproduceable, my sound card is a M-Audio Audiophile 2496. My system has never had such audio issues before.

I think it is good to have fast ftp-downloading, but sound quality should always have the highest priority. Maybe you need to code some yield() invocations in some low level functions or to lower the priority of network access.

#3914 Downloaded large files are not removed from queue normal rejected 16 years 16 years
Description

When downloading large files (1-2 GB) which take quite some time (e.g. several hours at 80 kB/s), they remain in the queue although they have been downloaded completely. Also, the connection seem to be still open.

If I reopen Filezilla and press the "Q->" button, a short transfer will be initiated (about 1 kB) and the file is then successfully removed.

This bug is annoying because the computer would not shut down over night, and if there are many of those files, other queue entries would wait forever for their turn.

#3917 SITE command sent to z/OS host does not appear to function correctly normal rejected 16 years 16 years
Description

I am attempting to FTP a file from the client workstation to a z/OS 1.7 (mainframe) host. The .txt file must be uploaded to a z/OS dataset whose file characteristics must be: record format(variable), record length (32756) and block size (0). Prior to actually initiating the file transfer I do a Server->Enter Custom Command... of SITE RECFM=VB LRECL=32756 BLKSIZE=0. The reply back from the server is Response: 200 SITE command was accepted. I then initiate the file transfer to the z/OS host, which is successful, however the characteristics of the SITE commmand are not maintained and the file is created with z/OS default attributes. Any thoughts?

#3920 Does not list folder again when already done low rejected 16 years 16 years
Description

Hello,

I'm using filezilla, and there's something I'd like to see be corrected.

Indeed, when I'm connected to a FTP, and enter a folder, at the 1st time, the folder is listed (LIST), but when I already visited this folder, and go back into this one, the file list is no longer listed, whereas the content has changed !

I take a look into options but found no solutions !

#3936 App crashes when dragging files from Finder normal rejected 16 years 15 years
Description

Can no longer drag and drop files into FileZilla for uploading, it just crashes... This started happening when I installed a 3G Modem dongle about 2 weeks ago... I have since uninstalled the dongle, but the crash is still happening... Perhaps a co-incidence? Please advise... Thanks!

#3957 Refresh problem after changing home directory and reconnecting normal rejected 16 years 16 years
Description

I just downloaded the server and client and found this bug. I created a site with a simple password and added a home directory to test. Then I connected from other server with the client 3.1.5, after checking it was OK I disconnected leaving open the client. I then went to the server and changed the user's home directory then reconnected but the client listed the old directory's content. I disconnected and tried to connect again with the same results. It listed the real content only after I closed the client and launched it again. I recreated the site several times making the same steps and it always happens. The original site was made on two HP Proliant 370 Servers with Intel Xeon 3.6Ghz using Win2003 R2 SP2. The last tests were made on my PC a HP Compaq dc5750 SFF with an AMD 4200+ 64 X2 using WinXP SP3.

some users reported problems with their ftp accounts using filezilla, the always got: Command: PWD Response: 500 Unknown command. Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing Response: 500 Unknown command. Response: 257 "/" Trace: Unexpected reply, no reply was pending.

i noticed that if i change their password, it works fine, if i change it back to the original value, the error comes back, i am attaching debug logs for both cases.

yes, it sounds like witchcraft, but i saw many people in forums with the same problem. this is the only workaround i found.

the same goes for gftp, only the debug window says "Invalid response '2' received from server."

#3959 OpenVMS directories not correctly handeled normal rejected 16 years 16 years
Description

The way to name a path in OpenVMS is for example:

devicename:[folder.subfolderlevel1.subfolderlevel2]

FileZilla shows the above example as:

[devicename/folder/subfolderlevel1/subfolderlevel2]

From within FileZilla trying to change directory by typing them in from some ware else to:

[devicename/folder/subfolderlevel1/subfolderlevel2]

will fail.

Canging to

devicename:[folder.subfolderlevel1.subfolderlevel2]

works fine.

On the OpenVMS system you would find files with the extention '.dir'. They represent the folders/directories found in the current folder/directory. They should be shown as folders in the Remote site folder tree. They are not. So you cannot browse your way down the tree.

OpenVMS supports posix, but to use the /folder/subfolder/subfolder way of path name only works if the server is specially configured for that.

I try to use FileZilla from Windows to a FTP server on OpenVMS 8.3.

#3964 Handling of files beginning with "." on remote directory normal rejected 16 years 16 years
Description

Hello,

I can't view/download files beginning with "." in the remote directory. Quite a bug if you're trying to check if every remote directory has a ".htaccess" file in it or if the path to one of your more secret directoryie (e.g. to the file ".passwd" contains a "."; btw: changing into such a directroy is possible if you know it's name and use the field "Remote site:" to type it's name in.

Cheers!

#3967 Could not locate sftpdrive generated drives normal rejected 16 years 15 years
Description

Filezilla Version: 3.1.5 SftpDrive Version: 1.7.9

I am using SftpDrive (http://www.magnetk.com/sftpdrive/) to connect a a server via sftp protocol. It builds a bridge between the server and Windows box, making the sftp connection as Network drive (I think...).

Previously (Filezilla 3.1.3.1), sftpdrives were visible in "Local Site" tree. But now they are not visible nor accessible thru Filezilla.

When I drag a file from the server to Windows Explorer with SftpDrive opened, it shows a error message:

---------------------------
Filezilla Error
---------------------------
Directory 'W:\sandbox' couldn't be created (error 3: the system cannot find the path specified.)
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Install SftpDrive and create a connection.
  2. Install Filezilla 3.1.3.1
  3. Check connected sftpdrive is visible and accessible.
  4. Remove Filezilla and install Filezilla 3.1.5
  5. Check connected sftpdrive is visible and accessible.

#3970 Remote devices (USB, Ethernet) slow to load file list high rejected 16 years 15 years
Description

Hi,

I've got an Ethernet storage device (Western Digital) which is so slow at loading the file list in FileZilla.

Comparing it to other FTP software, they load the list super fast. You can see a performance decrease on other software compared to your computer hard drive, but I would expect that with anything that's remote based.

On my screen I could wait up to 10 seconds before I can do anything as when using the local site explorer for a remote device freezes any other action taking place on FileZilla until the list has loaded.

It's fairly quicker when it's just listing folders but you can still see a performance decrease and a 'freeze'.

Newest version of FZ.

#3974 Downloaded file continued to download after file size was reached normal rejected 16 years 15 years
Description

I dragged a group of files, folders and an ISO from a remote site to a local folder and one of the zip files continued to download way past its origanl size. The origanal file was a 74 MB in size but it continued to download past that and I eventually stopped it at 122 MB. The progress bar reported as 100 % complete. It appears that the file download just restarts every time it reaches the end of the original file.

I restarted the same file and it did it again. This time i let it restart a second time (149 MB) before I stopped it.

#3987 Remote directory doesn't refresh after manual CWD normal rejected 15 years 15 years

After manually entering CWD command (Server menu), the remote directory doesn't refresh.

Usually, this is not a problem, however in some specific it is: When logging in to the university Novel server via FTP, I need to change the server path (CWD MAF/). #3998 Using BINARY mode transfer even though ASCII is selected! normal rejected 15 years 15 years
Description

I’ve been using FileZilla successfully until I upgraded to version 3.1.5.

Despite selecting “Auto” or “ASCII” for the file transfer mode in teh FileZilla menu FileZilla version 3.1.5 always transfers the file in BINARY mode! A sample of the output is as follows:

Command: CWD /cgi-bin Response: 250 Directory successfully changed. Command: TYPE A Response: 200 Switching to ASCII mode. Command: PASV Response: 227 Entering Passive Mode Command: RETR hits_out.txt Response: 150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for hits_out.txt (5749 bytes). Response: 226 File send OK. Status: File transfer successful

As you can see FileZilla switches to ASCII mode but transfers the file in BINARY mode! I feel this is a major bug with the software.

Please could someone investigate as I would really like to keep using FileZilla but the software as it stands is incapable of transferring in ASCII mode without corrupting the file.

#4007 Failed to retrieve directory listing in v3.1.5.1 FTPES normal rejected 15 years 15 years
Description

Windows XP client build 5.1.2600 w/ SP2.

Trying to connect using FZ client to a RHEL server running VSFTPD configured with FTP over explicit SSL.

Using the latest FZ client version (3.1.5.1), could connect to the server however fails trying to bring up the directory listing.

Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing

Session is using passive transfer method, however, using active transfer produces same result.

In older version of FZ client(v3.0.8.1) this connects and displays the directory listing without issue.

This has been reproduced on numerous client PCs testing both versions connecting to our server.

Attaching trace logs of both.

Appears as though something has changed when it comes to TLS in the newer version of FZ client.

#4008 Remote file and directory dates wrong normal rejected 15 years 15 years

#4013 Remote Site Not Refreshing normal rejected 15 years 15 years
Description

I connect daily to a server and download files that are created daily. For the last week or so I have noticed that the remote site file dates do not refresh. It does not matter if I click the refresh button, shut down FileZilla and reconnect the remote site window file dates do not change. If I go to the server via other means I can see clearly that the date is the current date so FileZilla is not picking up the new file dates. The file names are always the same only the size and creation date are changed. I read through previous and did not see any tickets reporting this specific bug.

#4024 Mapped Network Drives not shown 3.1.4+ normal rejected 15 years 10 years
Description

I have just upgraded FileZilla Client from 3.1.3.1 to 3.1.5.1 and cannot access my mapped network drives now.

I have rolled back to 3.1.3.1 and can again see the drives but (by trial and error) have proven that 3.1.4 and later do not display the drives to me. I have also tried the latest nightly (22 Nov 08)and the experience the same behaviour.

I notice that one of the changelog notes for 3.1.4 reads " MSW: React to added or removed drive letters", I don't know whether this is connected to this problem possibly.

I've attached a screenshot showing FileZilla alongside windows explorer so that you can see the network drives which are missing from the local view.

Thanks

#4034 Version 3.1.5.1 (and 3.2.0) won't list directory but 2.2.10 does. normal rejected 15 years 10 years
Description

Here's a weird one. A site that I haven't visited using FZ for a while (I have a program that does automated download from there that works fine though). Today I connected using FZ 3.1.5.1 and it showed the remote directory as empty. I tried passive, active, force show hidden files, all with the same result. So I went to another machine on the same network that hasn't been upgraded from 2.2.10 yet, and it displays the files fine.

Debug logs are attached, grateful for any pointers.

#4036 FZ fails to parse trailing / in PWD dir names and strips traling / on CWD normal rejected 15 years 15 years
Description

FZ Version: 3.1.5.1 Issue also vitnessed in version 3.1.2, 3.1.5 Issue does not exist in (at least) version 2.2.11

When FTP server return, f.e., "257 "9.256/" is current directory." upon FZ issuing command "PWD", FZ fails to parse with (debug) message "ControlSocket.cpp(356): Failed to parse returned path. caller=0p13482d8".

Also, when I manually type in a directory name with a trailing / in the "Remote site:" field, FZ strips the trailing slash before sending it to the server. Observable in the message log: Command: CWD /9.258 And also observable in a Packetcapture.

rgds, Henrik.

#4058 Dowload stops at end of file low rejected 15 years 10 years
Description

The download of files from each size stops at 100%. newest filezilla version installed. i can reproduce it when i download several files. the filesize is random so there is no difference between 100MB or 1GB files. starting and stopping the downloads wont fix it. i need to stop the download, restart filezilla and restart the download. then it will run again. there is no difference if i run filezilla in admin mode or as invoker. nothing to see from the log. at the server side there is a FTP Publishing Service 6.0 running on windows 2k3 server. if you need some additional infos contact me at reli(a)relicted.com

#4064 Remote file list does not show more than 1998 files at a time normal rejected 15 years 15 years
Description

Using FileZilla 3.1.6 When logging in to cpanel account FZ fails to list more than 1998 files. Unable to select more than the 1998 files to delete from a directory. I have to select all 1998, delete, then exit the folder, go back in, and the rest of the files show up.

This happens on both Mac and Windows versions.

#4073 Symantec downloads of virusdef files usually continues past 100% normal rejected 15 years 15 years
Description

When downloading from ftp.symantec.com (dragging file from remotedir to localdir)

in the dir

/public/english_us_canada/antivirus_definitions/norton_antivirus

the download of any one *.x86.exe file more times than not will continue to download past the full 100%. It looks like it gets to the full 100% then it sits for a while then it picks up downloading the entire file again appended to what had already been downloaded. So a 40 MB file might end up being 80 or 120 MB by the time it actually gets to a download complete.
