#5319 Filezilla fails to CWD into a directory with trailing spaces Bug report normal FileZilla Client rejected
Description

Hi,

a co-worker has uploaded a directory "Button " and Filezilla 3.3.2.1 fails to CWD into that dir:

Command: PASV Response: 227 Entering Passive Mode (xx,xxx, xxx,xx,xxx,xx). Command: LIST Response: 150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for file list Listing: drwxr-xr-x 2 ftp_xchange xxxxxx 4096 Apr 13 10:57 Button Response: 226-Transfer complete Response: 226 Quotas off Status: Directory listing successful Status: Retrieving directory listing... Command: CWD Button Response: 550 Button: No such file or directory Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing

I don´t know if that´s a FileZilla problem or perhaps is not supposed to work via FTP at all. And yes, having a directory with trailing spaces is retarded ;-)

Cheers Lars

#5321 Connection timeout uploading large files Bug report normal FileZilla Client outdated
Description

With all 3.3.x series FileZilla, i get a connection timeout at the end of a large file upload. Files have to be >1MB. It is always at the end of the file. It happens with every large file.

With ver 3.2.x, this is not a problem. I downgrade to 3.2.4.1 and it works ok, upgrade to 3.3.2.1 then i get timeouts again. This is why i believe it is a bug.

I only upload to 2 servers. Happened before i reformatted and reloaded Windows as well. Log files are attached.

#5322 After N files transferred through SFTP using FileZilla, the queue slows down Bug report normal FileZilla Client outdated
Description

After N files transferred through sftp using FileZilla, the queue slows down. It happens when I'm transferring one file at a time or 2 files at a time or N files at a time. It usually slows down when the third or fourth file in the queue has finished transferring.

And when it's happening, all I need to do is restart the queue after a few minutes and the speed will go back to normal.

I'm using Buffalo WHR-G125, just in case it has something to do with it.

#5324 filenames startings with # (sharp) Bug report normal FileZilla Client rejected
Description

filezilla can`t start downloading via FTP file, what containing sharp in name. part of log ================= Command: RETR #405-Great-Expectations.avi Response: 550 Failed to open file. ================= the same situation with other files, starting with # local filenames encoding utf-8 server encoding CP1251

#5325 Spaces in filenames don't open properly Bug report normal FileZilla Client fixed
Description

If the filename has a space or spaces midway through the filename, then when you try to open the file from within Filezilla (from the right-click menu) it will open a list of files instead of the single file you wanted to open. For example, if you try to open "Template for prototypes.docx", it will respond by attempting to open "Template", "for" and "prototypes.docx", all of them in OpenOffice, and because OpenOffice can't find any of the three, it will pop up three errors of not being able to find each of those three files.

Would it be possible for Filezilla to escape the space characters in a filename or to wrap filenames in quotes?

This occurred while running a version of Filezilla (3.2.7.2) obtained through apt-get on Ubuntu 9.10, x86.

#5328 Incorrect change of the listening port if changed in the XML and called with /reload-config Bug report normal FileZilla Server fixed
Description

Using FileZilla Server 0.9.34, the scenario to reproduce this bug is to change the listening port by changing the configuration file and call /reload-config.

  1. If changed in the GUI FZ Server correctly starts listening on the new port. Old connections are retained on the old port. Old port is dropped when the last old connection is closed.
  2. BUT: If changed directly in the XML and called with /reload-config, FZ Server fails to recognize the new port and does not start listening on it (though it is reflected in the GUI). Only a server restart helps, currently.

#5344 Filezilla doubleclick brings file renaming Bug report normal FileZilla Client fixed
Description

Most of the time when I double click on a file or folder instead of uploading it or opening a folder it opens a file renaming box. It's extremely annoying. And sometimes if you double click on a folder it brings file rename box, opens a folder and renames random subfolder name into a file name from the main folder. It wastes time and patience.

#5347 Windows 7: network card crashes on multiple connections Bug report normal FileZilla Client rejected
Description

In the current release 3.3.2.1 on my win7 x64 system I recognized a strange behaviour that causes my wired network card to "crash" which gets only working again after a reboot.

Following is happening, I reproduced it as described about 5 times: Downloading a huge amount of files and data from a standard webserver. To increase the overall speed, I usually download several files at a time time, mostly about 4. When 1 *bigger* file is currently downloading (> 40MB) and other *little* ones (> 5KB & < 100KB) are downloaded too, it stucks from *one moment to the other*. The described issue results in a completely freezed network card. No connections can get in or out anymore. From then it is impossible to change the IP address manually (or automatically), enable/disable it to refresh the network card or even send a ping to a known computer in the network. It seems that only a reboot of the system does help (if windows shuts down correctly, otherwise human needs to be stronger than computer by pressing the power off button)

(In the past I had a similar problem too, which was caused of too many open ftp connections because of many little files and an overhead for tcp connections, which then resulted in a stopped queue. But this queue could be continued after some minute when the server has ended all open connections in timeout and other network functions still worked.)

As already mentioned, I reproduced this about 5 times and while trying to find out if this can be avoided, following helps a bit:

  • Downloading only 1 file at a time -> many big files are not a problem, only small files even don't. Only the combination of *some* large and many small ones make trouble.
  • While downloading, I watched the queue and when a big file is currently running, I manually changed the options to 1 file so that the small files currently downloading get finished and then only the big one is left -> it worked without a problem. After the big file was finished, I switched to multiple downloads again until the next big one was coming. That was a bit annoying but still increases the overall download speed (for 4000 files)

Below is the currently used filezilla version, if you need additional detailed hardware/os information (dxdiag whatever) or more information that I might have forgotton here, let me know.

Thanks. btw. I really really like filezilla! great job :)

Conrad

#5357 Filezilla works at home but not at worksite Bug report normal FileZilla Client rejected
Description

The computer is an HP laptop using Windows Vista Sp-2 last updated to version KB980248 on April 29.

It works fine over the wireless connection at home, but not at the boss's home office. We have an 11b wireless connection at home, backed by a cable (Comcast) connection. The boss has, I beleive, 11g backed by DSL.

The connection log at the boss's office is:

#5361 Upload stops though there are still files in the queue Bug report normal FileZilla Client rejected
Description

When there are pending files in the upload queue from a previous session and new files for upload are added, the new files are uploaded OK, but after that the transfer stops leaving the existing files pending.

The remaining files are uploaded if "Process queue" is checked (when the transfer of the new files is done, "Process queue" is unchecked).

#5364 large files upload fails Bug report normal FileZilla Client outdated
Description

I have no problem with small file upload such as html or images on this server of mine, but when I try to upload a large video file I get a strange behavior. The log attached refers to the file Ali_my_Slum_my_Korogocho.flv which is 105 MB. The upload progress bar reaches 100% in few seconds (!!) then stops there. After some time (30 seconds or so) it gives a file transfer failed or connection time out error. It then retries to upload the file few times but it failes even before the progress bar is displayed. Finally it asks me if I want to overwrite the file alredy present on the server (which is truncated at a size around 1MB). CuteFTP initially does the same with the progress reaching 100% but then it restarts the transfer with the progress at 3/5 % and it starts uploading the file in chunks giving a bunch of "ERROR:> Temporary completion problem reply." but it eventually succeed completing the file.

Here's the log:

#5367 7-hour error on timestamp for all sent files Bug report normal FileZilla Client fixed
Description

Two parties have verified that text files sent via FileZilla 3.3.2.1 show a new "last modified date" that is seven hours ago. Yet, others looking at the same files on the remote server using SQL Tools 1.5 see the correct timestamp.

I am using Windows XP Pro SP3, and the files are being transferred to any of several servers. In the Site Manager, we have the timezone offsets set to zero (in fact, the seven-hour error is in the wrong direction for this to be the difference between PDT and GMT.)

Here's the kicker: if you drag the affected file back from the remote server, it keeps the same wrong timestamp!

Love the product, just trying to help make it better...

#5371 Password is publicly displayed on export Atul Jha Bug report normal FileZilla Client worksforme
Description

If I export my connections list, which have some passwords stored, the XML generated has the passwords publicly displayed. I think there should be, at least, an obfuscation on that, since its easy to find out someones' password (which is obfuscated in the program) just by exporting its connections and looking through the XML.

#5373 Resuming a upload Bug report normal FileZilla Client outdated
Description

When my internet crashes or something stops my upload, I used to be able to re-drag the file and it would give me a screen with several options. I used to just press resume and it would continue uploading from where it started. However it does not allow this anymore, once the internet has crashed I cannot do anything with the partly uploaded file, I cannot resume or delete it etc. The message states that the file is still in use.

I used to then have to restart the computer for it to release the file so i could delete it or resume the upload, however now that is not even working and I have to rename the file on my desktop and start the upload from scratch.

So in the File->Site Manager->Transfer Settings Tab I edit "Limit Number of Connections" I set to 6 connections max. Yet when I connect to my server to upload a bunch of files again I get the same exact error with too many connections (8).

This has been a very annoying bug for a long time, which I should have reported earlier but I kind of thought that someone would have run across this by now but I guess not.

#5379 Critical Servr Error Bug report low Unknown rejected
Description

Hi. I have found this kind of bug here yet there was no solution.

After installing FTF registry entries from my servwer, entering the right data of the server and port name, experimenting with the the options in site manager menu (passive upload, proxy avoidance, anonymus user) - nothing has worked.

Here is the exact message of several attempts of connecting to my server

I need fast help because urgently I need to upload larger files to my servern, necessary for my e-business performance. I will appreciate instant response.

#5380 FileZilla client prompts for next passcode when using securid authentication Bug report normal FileZilla Client worksforme
Description

When using SFTP and RADIUS/Securid authentication users are able to log in successfully. However, upon upload or download of files you are then prompted again to enter your next PASSCODE. Users should not be prompted fopr next passcode after successfully logging in to transfer files.

#5381 Intermittent massive memory leak when transferring files Bug report normal FileZilla Client outdated
Description

Occasionally when transferring files, FileZilla client uses 100% of the physical memory available (I have 8GiB in the machine, and FileZilla goes up to approx. 92% of that) and the disk starts to thrash, significantly degrading performance.

Nothing is logged during this.

Once the file in the queue finishes, the memory is all released correctly and the operating system eventually recovers.

FileZilla Client version 3.3.2.1, built 2010-03-21 but this problem has been happening for at least the last 6 months in various versions, if not longer.

Seems to be more apparent on larger files (several gigabytes) but this could just be because they take longer to transfer, so the chance of it happening increases. It generally happens suddenly in the middle of an existing transfer.

Unfortunately because it is so sporadic, it is hard to replicate.

#5382 File count incorrect when using CTRL-SHIFT on file selection Bug report normal FileZilla Client duplicate
Description

Version Client 3.3.2.1

Steps to reproduce 1) Start Filezilla Client 2) Navigate to a local folder having multiple files available 3) Select one file 4) Hold CTRL+SHIFT 5) Select the next file in the folder 6) Repeat steps 3-4 for a few times

Error File counter is counting already selected files again

Expected behavior File count should reflect the amount of files actually selected

Additional information See attached screenshot, it contains 8 files selected actually counted as 36

#5383 multiple concurrent uploads fail with SFTP Bug report low FileZilla Client rejected
Description

This may be related to this bug:

http://trac.filezilla-project.org/ticket/3477

Two years old and long since closed, but this appears to be the same (or a similar) issue.

Uploading multiple files in multiple folders, over SFTP, with multiple concurrent uploads (5 is my setting), doesn't work with all servers.

The problem is, the client makes no intelligent decisions about the order in which uploads are processed.

That is, if you're uploading "folder_a/file_a" and "folder_a/file_b", the order in which these happen to occur, is unpredictable - it depends on whether or when a thread happens to be available.

So when "file_a" begins to upload, the folder is created - but if at the same time "file_b" begins, and assumes the folder has been created, but the previous request didn't complete yet, it will fail.

#5392 Filezilla crash when scrolling through active queue Bug report normal FileZilla Client fixed
Description

Filezilla 3.3.3-rc1 crashes on Windows 7 x86 when scrolling through an active queue (the scroll bar on bottom right) with concurrent transfers set to eight, though the crash doesn't seem to only happen with 8 concurrent transfers. I've reproduced this several times.

I've seen this happen with several different files and queues. Including resuming them and with a fresh one.

The following is the information Windows 7 pops up after the crash

#5393 Passwords/Accounts stop working or won't work Bug report critical FileZilla Server invalid
Description

We have a Filezilla Server installation on Windows Server 2008 Data Center edition SP2.

We havea about 70 FTP users connecting using Chilkat clients.

We recented changed some security issues and modified each password and added an extension to it.

All of a sudden some accounts can't log in.

In most cases if I replace the password with a completely different password and then set it back to the expected password it will work.

In some cases the very account will not work. The folder name the account points to is not changed. If I create a new account with a different name and password and point it to access the folder for the account that fails, it works fine. If I rename the now working account to the same name as the previous account that failed, it will stop working also. This have been verified more than a few times.

I have tried to find some way of "forcing a re-initialization" of the account name/passwords but I am unable to find anything.

I have scoured the forum but didn't find anythink explaining my problem except one post that says "accounts just don't stop working". But in my case, I have about 10 accounts that have stopped working and I am in the process of having to reset up all the accounts with new names and passwords.

#5402 Client crashes ONLY on certain sites/directories Bug report normal FileZilla Client outdated
Description

When going to certain sites (using SFTP), it gets there, BUT when I try to "Drill Down" into the site, it immediately crashes. This only occurs on a couple of the sites on my web server. It did not occur until I upgraded from Fedora 12 -> 13. I initially used the Fedora install of filezilla, and since the crash was occurring, uninstalled it and downloaded/compiled the most recent version from your site. Still happening. Weird thing is, I have WindowsXP installed on this machine in VirtualBox and filezilla works fine there.

#5406 Passive FTP isn't passive on the second connection Bug report normal FileZilla Client rejected
Description

Hi,

SW: Filezilla Client 3.3.3, Windows XP SP3

I'm testing a PROftp server (externally hosted, on the Internet) to debug something. To help, I've also set one up internally on my LAN, and wanted to use Filezilla as the client. I'm testing on the LAN server first so I understand the ports in use etc.

However, Filezilla doesn't switch to PASV on the second time I connect to the server.

I define the server, and make sure that under Transfer Settings, its set to Passive.

I then login (log 1). you can see Filezilla correctly sent PASV. All looks good I then disconnect, and re-login again (log 2) by clicking on the drop-down toolbar. You can see from the log that the client doesn't switch to PASV.

The only way I've been able to re-connect in passive, is to close Filezilla and restart it.

I can't find this in the existing buglist.

Client and Server are on the same LAN.

Description

The Site Manager doesn't allow Alt-Tab when in Field "Server Type". which used to filter out git folders but filters out everything.

#5421 md5sum of files over 2gb changed Bug report normal FileZilla Client outdated
Description

after downloading a file using filezilla (the file was 10gb)and checking the md5sum of the file, the md5sum of the resultant file differed from the md5sum of the original file. whats more the file differed at byte 2147483648, the point the filesize would overflow a signed 32 bit integer. i have re-downloaded the orignal file using ssh on linux (opposed to how it was originally downloaded using filezilla on 32 bit windows server 2003) and the md5sum matches, i transfered it to the windows machine using samba and the md5sum STILL matches, which takes windows out of the equation as the source of the corruption. also being that it occurred AT 2147483648, corruption from download seems unlikely.

#5422 Trailing space in remote folder name causes problem Bug report normal FileZilla Client rejected

I downloaded a remote folder with a trailing space in it´s name via context-menu. Downloading was fine, but I wasn´t able to delete that folder with Windows Explorer ("Datei kann nicht gelöscht werden: Die Quelldatei oder vom Quelldatenträger kann nicht gelesen werden.").

Deleting it is only possible by deleting the parent folder via command line with "rmdir /s test".

#5426 FileZilla does not reconnect after ECONNABORTED Bug report normal FileZilla Client outdated
Description

Sometimes if I click a folder, I get the message: "Error: Disconnected from server: ECONNABORTED - Connection aborted Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing"

Yes, I know you're never gonna fix ECONNABORTED, but there are two problems here:

  1. If I have directory sync on and click a local folder in the directory tree pane, that folder still appears selected but the folder isn't changed. This means I have to click somewhere else, then click back again to load the folder.
  2. If I hit F5 then FileZilla reconnects perfectly fine, so this should just be done automatically.

#5429 Foreign Characters Getting Stripped from filenames Bug report high FileZilla Server worksforme
Description

Hello, I have a client using FileZilla server 0.9.34 (I have the same and can recreate this). The files are coming from Germany with these names (Gehäusedeckel_D17.ipt, Gehäuse_D17.ipt, Gehäuse_D17 HS.ipt)

When we/he enters the files into our system through FileZilla server, the special characters are being stripped out (Gehuse_D17 HS.ipt, Gehuse_D17.ipt, Gehusedeckel_D17.ipt ) from the filenames on the server.

This is causing HUGE problems with legacy files that still have the special characters in the filenames. Filezilla does not recognize these older files - at all.

(000018) 6/30/2010 16:30:32 PM - ftpuser2 (172.16.11.41)> 550 File not found (000018) 6/30/2010 16:30:32 PM - ftpuser2 (172.16.11.41)> RETR \Zilla1\Gehuse_D17.ipt (000018) 6/30/2010 16:30:32 PM - ftpuser2 (172.16.11.41)> 550 File not found

Is there a setting we can pick to stop Filezilla from stripping out these characters?

I'm using FileZilla client 3.3.3 and when I use the ampersand (&) symbol in a password for a site it is stored in the XML file as '&' not '&amp;'. If I manually change it from '&' to '&amp;' then FileZilla is ok until I update the site or close and reopen FileZilla. Updating the site affects 'sitemanager.xml' and closing affects 'filezilla.xml' (<LastServer><Pass> tag), thus 'filezilla.xml' cannot be read and the default settings are used.

I've attached screen shots of the errors generated for each of these files.

#5479 FileZilla client crashes when changing language Bug report normal FileZilla Client fixed
Description

When changing the language from the default (which is Finnish on my computer) to English and then selecting File --> Exit, FileZilla FTP Client (v3.3.3) crashes. The crash doesn't occur if I don't change the language.

The error message is "Unhandled exception at 0x00a19e29 in filezilla.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x002f004a."

#5480 Password authentication not used if the public key authentication fails because of MaxAuthTries and number of keys in local agent Bug report high FileZilla Client fixed
Description

I have several dozen SSH key pairs on this system. When trying to connect to an OpenSSH 2 server using the SFTP protocol, and try to authenticate with a password (as provided in the site manager), authentication fails and I end up with this message:

Too many authentication failures for <username>

What happens is that FileZilla uses pageant, detects thse key pairs I have, connects to the server and doesn't send my password, but tries as many of those key pairs as it can, which I have never asked for (I have not imported any of my SSH keys to FileZilla). After a few failed authentication requests (due to non-matching keys), the server drops the connection. My log (edits are marked <like so>):

#5482 Error Doc XML reading attributes Bug report normal FileZilla Client worksforme
Description

Good afternoon,

First, excuse me for the bad language but I am french, and not really in the IT field. I currently use Filezilla Client 3.3.3. on a PC with windows XP. I never had such a problem since the error read in my ticket's subject. When opening FileZillaI got a window saying 'The Xml doc is not in the right setting : error reading attributes', so the previous favorite settings won't be set, you will run on the basic setting. I got this message whenever I run Filezilla and so must re-shape the windows and my previous read files every time. I tried to uninstall then re-install Filezilla but nothing changed. I checked the forum before posting and though I use both Avast as an Antivirus and ZoneAlarm as a firewall, none of them are blocking the programm to connect to whatever and whenever it wants to.

I believe something is wrong in the xml code. Can you help me fixing it? Regards.

#5484 Site certificate verification "always trust" checkbox doesn't work Bug report normal FileZilla Client rejected
Description

When accessing a site with a certificate that is unknown, the site certificate dialog opens, but the "always trust" check box isn't sensitive (can't be checked). Clicking the "Ok" button allows site access for that instance, and the site can be re-accessed (new login) while FileZilla remains continuously active. When FileZilla is restarted, the certificate verification steps must be repeated for that site. Very aggravating for such a site that one visits often.

#5486 Problem with Ascii download Bug report high FileZilla Client rejected
Description

Hi, I use "ftpes" to download files from a webserver, mostly php,css files. I noticed a strange behavior.

In some files, when using ASCII or Auto transfer mode, extra CR(carriage return) characters are added at the end of each line, causing a [CR][CR][LF] instead of [CR][LF].

If I download the file directly from the server is fine (not using filezilla)

Haven't found replication steps yet, but has happened to me several times.

#5491 cannot upload broken symlinks Bug report normal FileZilla Client rejected
Description

It may happen that the fs on the ftp server is different that on the client so on machine where you do not have ssh or any other type of access it is legitimate to create symbolic links that are broken on your local machine but will work fine on the remote site. Unfortunately filezilla follow the link, do some checks on the file that fails and abor the upload.

#5500 A batch file upload failed on 3.3.4 RC1 Bug report high FileZilla Client fixed
Description

Hello:

I tried to upload a number of files into a server through FileZilla by clicking a file, then Shift Click that resulted in a selection of 11 files. Then, I drag & drop the files to the server file list.

Opted to overwrite the existing files > Always use this action > Apply to current queue only.

All the 11 transfers then failed.

#5501 Drag-drop file upload always fails Bug report normal FileZilla Client duplicate
Description

Trying to drag a file from the local folder to the remote server folder always fails in version 3.3.4-rc1 of FileZilla Client.

To reproduce:

  1. UI is configured to Blackboard layout, not reversed.
  2. Login to an FTP server.
  3. Navigate to source folder and destination folder.
  4. Click and drag a file from the local file pane to the remote file pane and drop.

What happens: Client attempts to transfer file and gets an error similar to the following: can't open file 'Q:\Folder\subfolderfile.php' (error 2: the system cannot find the file specified.)

The path reported in this error is not correct, the actual file is located at: 'Q:\Folder\subfolder\file.php' It appears this method of uploading has a bug where the last \ in the folder path is missing.

Work around: Selecting the file in the local pane and pressing Enter transfers the file correctly.

#5502 Filezilla-server takes up to 100% CPU after setting per-user speed limit Bug report normal FileZilla Server fixed
Description

I found a similar issue in filezilla forum: http://forum.filezilla-project.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=850

Unfortunately, the bug hasn't been fixed because you can easily reproduce this phenomenon by the following step:

  1. Install the fresh filezilla server, create a user(assuming username is admin),set the speed limit to 2MB/s

2.Write a ftp client code to connect-login-download something from the server(follow the FTP RFCs)

3.After download complete, send 'QUIT' command to filezilla, and do *NOT* wait the server responses '226 Transfer OK' then close the socket, then reconnect the filezilla server again to download another file.(I know this step is not strictly follow the RFCs, but it's still a bug, right?)

In my test code, the CPU usage of filezilla goes up to 100% every 2 times.

#5503 Classic theme is always changed to OpenCrystal after restart Bug report high FileZilla Client fixed
Description

Hi,

I always used the "Classic" theme and after updating from 3.3.3 to 3.3.4-rc1 this was automatically changed to the "OpenCrystal" theme. I then changed it back to "Classic", but after a restart it was again "OpenCrystal".

This problem doesn´t occur when you use e.g. "Blukis" as a theme.

Hello,

Just upgraded to 3.3.4-rc1, no problems with the upgrade. Then tried to transfer a couple of files by dragging and got error 2. However when I right-clicked and selected 'upload' - it worked fine. So it appears to be drag-n-drop related issue.

Great program regardless :) Thanks.

#5509 Path problem Bug report blocker FileZilla Client duplicate
Description

Would like to proclaim a problem with paths. Namely, very often happens that when I send a file from the desktop, rather than address the path C:\Users\Tom\Desktop\index.html , I have C:\Users\Tom\Desktopindex.html (no "\" on the Desktop ), Which prevents the dispatch of a file. The problem does not occur when I send the file to disk. I have FileZilla 3.3.4rc1. This problem occurs on the dispatch file.

#5514 Drag and Drop Handler submitting wrong path/filename Bug report blocker FileZilla Client duplicate
Description
  1. Drag and drop a file from "c:\test\file.txt" (from the Windows Explorer) to the right hand side of the filezilla window (the "Remote site") into a folder on the connected server.
  1. filezilla will report an error indicating that it can not find the file "c:\testfile.txt" (mind the missing path seperator at the end of the dirname before the basename starts)

This also happens when you try to drag and drop the file from the left hand side of filezilla (the "Local site").

If I right click on the file in the "Local site" and choose "Transfer file" it works fine.

The log file does not reveal very much (I have set the log level to debug):

23:46:09: can't open file 'C:\testfile.txt' (error 2: das System kann die angegebene Datei nicht finden.)

(The latter is german and means that it can not find the file)
