I always have about 6 connections in my filezilla client for the projects I'm working on.

Each time my MS updates force a system reboot overnight, I have to try and remember what connections I had open and re-open them. Of course I just realized that I can store a local default directory for each connection, so that is a great help...but is it possible to store open connection tabs upon shutdown so they are ready when I re-open filezilla? Even if they just re-open on the screen without making an active connection, that would be huge.

I can't describe how fond I am of the PuTTY jumplist entries where I just right click PuTTY in my taskbar and click the server I want to connect to. Filezilla lies right next to PuTTY, and I was wondering why FileZilla doesn't have this integration yet?

Hope FileZilla will support this command soon, at lease make an option to turn it back on. because some android FTP client (FX file explorer) will try to send this command to get file time or other infos.

"FileZilla Server.exe" /active is not supported.

there are almost no controls over command line (except /start and /stop), almost everything must be done through GUI, and this makes automatic control impossible

as we all know, FileZilla do have an auto-start option. but things here is, the FileZilla Service can be auto-started, it's not "Active"!

i.e. the Service process is running, but it won't automatically listen on port 21 (or whatever port in settings) thus, you have to click "Active" on FileZilla Server Interface every-time after reboot further more, I can't find a command line or option to "Active" server automatically

this really makes remote-management suffer! how can we "click" Active within a .bat script? and connect to service from localhost (127.0.0.1) still needs authentication, makes it more difficult to develop a TCP plugin to send controls to the service (not everyone is an expert and have the patience to read all the source code just for an auto-Active feature, isn't it?)

my suggestion is to add more command line support, at least: "FileZilla Server.exe" /active should be supported to Active server automatically within a .bat script

Double clicking in Filezilla Double clicking on a file is universally used to 1 open a file if the file’s associated program is open Example: .html file opens into Firefox 2 open a file’s associated program if not open, then the file into that program. Example: As above but first opens FF

• open an application/program if the file is an executable file

In my experience the use of double click in FZ is highly unusual, confusing and detrimental.

Double clicking to upload or download a file means those used to double clicking for the above will result in an unintended down or upload. If the settings are set to not ask if you want to replace, then you have just wiped out a file. In addition if you did not know this was the function of double click you may not notice that the down or upload has taken place as there is nothing to indicate the event. So files could be lost without the user even knowing.

FZ has drag and drop AND right click menu to up or download files so the double click is surely not needed.

Double click in the local folder could open the default editor or default browser ans in the remote folder open in appropriate viewer/prog or "no effect."

Check Box - Add IP Address to IP Filter.

Add a check box to the Autoban setting, after and IP address has failed more then ## of attempts it would then be added to the IP Filter. By adding the Check box, it could be turned on/off at will. We only allow our application to run on the FTP with a predefine password. I'm always seeing someone trying to hack into our servers and with this I can ban these IP Address. If a user has a problem, then I can deal with it as needed. The Autoban works great, but I don't want an IP address coming back in 999 hours to try and hack it again over and over which I have seen.

There are several useful things in ~/.ssh/config that would enhance FileZillas SFTP features on OSX and Linux.

On OSX and Linux, the standard way of doing things is for all SSH configuration management to take place in this one centralised file. This provides one-place management for settings such as

• Host Aliases
• Pairing of Host and Private Key information
• Port Settings
• SSH Proxy Settings

And various other configuration options (I've listed the ones that I feel should be considered essential).

is that possible to specify for each ftp server (site) own proxy server? Because now I can specify only one proxy server for all sites. It's very uncomfortably to change each time proxy servers via Settings -> Generic proxy. For example, winscp can assign for each session own proxy.

Missing the option to add "Computer" as a new directory in Shared Folders.

"Edit" -> "Users" -> "Shared Folders" -> "Add".

When in "Browse for Folder" window and choose "Computer" the "OK" option is greyed out.

There is an old problem, when starting Filezilla it seeks at the Floppy drives. Why no Option that will blend out/deactivate the A and B drives. The Default can be false. It is anoying everytime to hear the sound from the drive. yes, floppies are very legacy, but many user still uses them.

I think the main problem is, that the code will search for directories in every Drive. But when skipping it for A and B, it will solve it.

It's great that Filezilla now supports logging-in to SSH servers using a client certificate. However it doesn't yet allow using password-protected certificates - Filezilla will convert it to a certificate without any password and then we have to be extra careful about protecting that file.

Would it be possible to prompt for password to unlock the standard password-protected client certificates as used by PuTTY etc?

◦ 3 Type the command "delete dir_name/*" to delete the files within the directory. Replace "dir_name" with the name of the directory that you want to delete.

◦ 4 Type the command "rmdir dir_name" to remove the directory.

◦ 5 Type the command "quit" to close the FTP session.

Now I will describe this briefly, what I need is an enhancement of the following option in filezilla client.

Connection > FTP > Passive mode, "Use the serveris external IP address instead"

Regarding the opposite side of what the option said, When client located inside company, but server reply a public IP address. Filezilla client (latest version) could not handle this case, it will reply error as below.

Error:	Connection timed out
Error:	Failed to retrieve directory listing

I also attached log file of this issue. So, Could filezila client correct the IP in passive mode reply when it is not same as server's IP ? no matter is private IP or Public IP.

Title should explain - I hope this hasn't been requested before! - didn't see it...

Should have option on Quickconnect to quickly save entry to Site Manager. I suppose it should then open a 'new' entry using host as name with host/uid/password filled in by default.

I saw a reverse request?: ​http://trac.filezilla-project.org/ticket/3007 but no one requesting ability to add *from* Quickconnect menu? (which makes much more sense to me).

There are so many people requesting this, and, I love FileZilla and have used it for years, but I have to be frank - the devs come off as arrogant saying it is not technically possible or it is gambling with your data.

Absolutely, set this option as 'off' by default. If you implement it, make the users go into menus and specifically turn it on only if they know what they are doing. Give a warning about it.

But let the users make the choice about whether they want to gamble with their data or not. Don't make the choice for them.

When I am doing web dev., the data is always in my text editor. If it were lost in transmission, this would never be a problem, because I always have it saved locally in my editor.

For some things - like tweaking small CSS things to get things just right - having this feature would cut my time by 50%. Literally. It is a HUGE feature missing, and the reason I don't use filezilla any more.

I agree with your reasoning, of course. But, understanding it is a risky behavior, let the users choose it if they take consciously accept to take that risk.

Alternately, create a tray icon that you can click on to upload a changed document. Save from hunting for the FZ window. That would also help alot, and would be nearly as good.

It makes me sad, because I like FileZilla best of all FTP programs, but have stopped using it solely for lack of this one feature.

A lot of programs for Windows 7/8 show the progress as a green bar moving across the Icon for the program. i.e. browsers when downloading a file. This is very useful as, it is not needed to keep opening the program to view progress. I am sure it would be a part of Windows API as I have seen a lot of programs use it.

Copying an ftp url is not as useful (to as many) as copying an http url for the file. Having to edit the copy is a pita.

My system configuration has multiple mapped network drives, where one state connects to a few network shares at the office, and another state connects to a few network shares at home, but there will always be disconnected network drives.

Because of this (determined by removing the shares) FileZilla takes about 1-2 minutes to load. I think this means there needs to be an option to ignore checking network drives/determine earlier if they are not available so this can be fixed as I'm sure that other people will have experienced similar issues.

I use often your product (FileZilla Server) and I think it's useful.

I'm technician and I also work with Windows PE.

With a x86 Windows PE, no problem. But with a x64 Windows PE, FileZilla Server can't run because it's not a x64 native exe.

With new computers and EFI, only Windows PE x64 can run, and because Windows PE x64 don't have the WOW64 subsystem, x86 exe don't run.

Please, do you plan a native x64 version, even alpha or beta ?

We use a number of scripts to launch FileZilla from the command line with the <FTP URL> option.

We'd also like to be able to set the local folder from the command line when stating FileZilla.

Currently there is a feature to right click on a files/folders, and select "Copy URL(s) to Clipboard", however if used on a folder, it just copies the link to the folder.

I would like it modified, or an option added, to allow this to get a list of all files in the folder (and subfolders if possible) and copy that to the clipboard, instead of the actual folder name.

For example with the following folder structure

A Folder -> Sub Folder 1 -> Sub Sub Folder 1 -> File 1

-> Sub Folder 1 -> File 2 -> Sub Folder 1 -> File 3 -> Sub Folder 2 -> File 4 -> Sub Folder 3 -> Sub Sub Folder 1 -> File 5 -> Sub Folder 3 -> File 6 -> Sub Folder 3 -> File 7

Most FTP servers do not return an error for commands

LIST file.ext

or

if the file not exists. Reply of FileZilla server is:

200 Port command successful
550 Directory not found

Reply of SERV-U FTP server for example is:

200 PORT Command successful.
150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for /bin/ls.
226 Transfer complete.

Is there a possibility to change the server's response and did not return an error? If you can not make changes to the future version, can you to recommend changes of code to implement this behavior?

I would like to be able to specify specific file types to be recognized as either binary or ascii so that I can use the auto setting and be assured Filezilla will detect the correct file type. I currently have a problem with some (not all) css and js files not uploading correctly on the auto setting, and it would be nice to rule out that their file types were mis-identified.

I would like the ability to enter a search term (optional wildcards, optional case sensitivity, optional search subfolders), and have it find files in the FTP server.

Hi It was impossible to use FileZilla Client behind a Microsoft Firewall (TMG, Threat Management Gateway, successor of ISA Firewall) with default FTP settings.

They allow only specific "Read" FTP commands and filter the others. So "MSLD" ("List Directory") produced "550 Access denied". A FTP session was not possible.

Interestingly "FtpExplorer" could list the directory but failed later by creating a directory on the remote server.

Would be very cool if FileZilla could use the "right" commands as client so it just works without the need to convince a paranoid admin to change the TMG settings "Hey, these settings are ok, they are from MS, you know! And what shi OpenSource you dare to use!!!". You perhaps know the tone...Well, perhaps the Microsoft settings are f*&% up. This may be the case.

In particular, when you're using servers on the LAN, there's absolutely no reason you'd want to use limiting -- or if you do you'd want at least to set a very high limit, far higher than that of most people's Internet connections. At the minimum there should be an option in the site manager under each individual site's settings to be able to bypass the speed limiting that you could enable as needed (IMO a per-site setting is the most universal and useful way rather than an option to bypass on LAN addresses in the main settings as there can still be times where a limit might be needed.) Ideally I think there should be a per-site setting so it could be adjusted to deal with more finicky servers or bad routes (such as when dealing with some servers overseas) for instance. Sometimes a more universal setting just doesn't apply to some.

It's really annoying having to change the setting back and forth every time I switch between using FileZilla for transferring files through the network (I find that sftp is the nicest way overall for me to deal with file transfers to/from my cellphone and tablet in particular, but also it's more convenient with my server sometimes since it can queue a long list of assorted things whereas drag and drop via SMB gets messy if it's not something you can select all at once.) If I'm uploading online I need a limit obviously, but when transferring through the network I'd rather squeeze every last bit of speed I can out of it instead for fairly obvious reasons. (It's pretty unlikely anything realistic will max out my LAN's bandwidth after all...)

Please add "Bypass proxy" on/off button on the toolbar to quickly switch enable/disable generic proxy to ftp connections without waste time for open settings dialog every time foreach host.

FileZilla Client only has to copy the URL address of the FTP, it would be great if the ability to make available also copy the URL of the HTTP address, would greatly facilitate our lives. Eg

FTP URL: ​ftp://host @ ftp.host.com / www / menu.php (this feature already exists) HTTP URL: ​http://www.host.com/menu.php (this feature does not exist)

I use many connection at the same time to the same servers. If I close Filezilla, and reopen it, I have to manually start them all one after the other. It would be great to have the option so that at startup, the last open sessions are reopened (or at least the tabs are preserved).

it would be nice, when Filezilla client can give a sound when connection is established with a server or when the download is finished. Maybe this can be optional and that the user can browse to a wav file for these actions. I am using Filezilla client version 3.7.3

FileZilla makes icons fuzzy, when non-default DPI resolution is set on Windows. Look at the example (125% of default 96 DPI):

Filezilla is a really nice prgram. I think it needs a search and merging module very much.

I upload 3 files at the same time(300~700KiB/s per file, >300MB files), it sometimes cause the whole operating system lag.

Add git a filter rule to ignore the .git directory to the filter "CVS and SVN directories". Probably we would also add mercurial at this point thus also ignore .hg directories. A rename then would be adequate: "Ignore source control directories (CVS, SVN, Git, Hg)"

Therefore it would be great to have an additional context menu command: "Create and enter directory". It creates a directory - and automatically change the path into it.

You operate two parallel ftp channels. These tend to be response time limit when dealing with short files and bandwidth limited when transferring large files.

By selecting one channel only to do the biggest files first and the other to do smallest files first, you will get better use of bandwidth

These ciphers and MAC were added to OpenSSH 6.2 release. Unfortunately, FileZilla 3.7.3 wont connect via SFTP protocol to my servers that exclusively use these ciphers and MAC.

Could you please add forward/back and up/down directory buttons to the local and remote pane headers. Currently, the only way seems to be to either edit the file path, or to scroll to the top of the directory listing and click on the up one level .. icon, neither of which is efficient. I came to FileZilla from CuteFTP and your application is superior in most respects, except for this detail.

Is there no way to copy a listing of the files in a directory to a text file or spreadsheet? There is frequently a need for me to manage, sort, compare and so on, files within my directories. I realize that they can be "clicked" and the filename copied one at a time, but that's really time consuming. I'm really surprised that there isn't such a feature. Especially since I've seen others asking for it.

For Windows systems, please show "desktop" as the highest folder in the left column.

Output from the LIST command is not sorted. I think the assumption is that the FTP client will sort it if necessary. Unfortunately, this is not always the case. We're trying to use it with old numerical controllers on the factory floor that do not sort the output. Makes it very difficult to find your NC program file in a long listing.

It'd be nice if the FileZilla Server had an option to sort the LIST output before sending it to the client. The option could be on for any FTP connection, by group or by user.

FTP is used a lot for automated internal data transfers between systems at night, etc. Some of these systems have a need to parse the LIST output. This can be hard to do when each FTP server's output is slightly different. See attachment.

What would make FileZilla Server extremely powerful would be if the user could define the format of LIST output, for those cases where it's not possible to define it on the client system. For example:

The format string could be specified by the admin in the settings area of FileZilla. It be most useful if there is a global setting and also each login could have it's own format to override the global definition.

In short I would like to see FZ parse Url's that have simple typos. Such as

​ftp://0.0.0.0

Remove space from start ​ftp://0.0.0.0

tp://0.0.0.0 to ​ftp://0.0.0.0

Hello. Since FZ knows when iv'e saved a file (because it prompts if i want to upload changes) what about an option to always upload? subsequent changed files get queued and uploaded one by one until queue is clear or user cancels process.

Some softwares like CCleaner will clear the quickconnect history by default. We will need to manually change the CCleaner settings to prevent this.

I had lost some of my clients login details because of this.

We are looking for the ability to save a file's original created date/time during uploads. Our FTP server supports this ability, but FileZilla does not send the MFCT command during uploads, just the modified date/time. It would be great to see this ability added to the client so that the tool can continue to be the most relevant and recommended FTP client available. Thanks for the consideration.

I often have to work in directories with thousands of files. You filter feature is quite good. But I would need to quickly change the filter.

For example: one time I search for files like *AD?1234.csv one minute later I need *AB?1234.csv, or *AD?1235.csv

It would be nice to have such an option in the toolbar (“Werkzeugleiste”)

Hello, I very strong request following future: when moving a file or a directory in the server side window, there should a warning dialog; i.e. like: "Want you really move xxx to the destination yyy" [YES] [CANCEL]

Why is this important? Because there can be a lot of trouble when you using FTP on a virtual server as root (where you can not connect other to do admin transfers) and unintended move i.e. some library directory. Just some mouse wipe, and ups, later on you searching what has happened an get a lot of trouble. With a warning you would get in attention what happened and you can stop the move with CANCEL before it has started. I look for this future in FileZilla since years ago. My old FTP-Client WS_FTP form 2001 had implemented this behavior. I could bye a new WS_FTP version but I would more like to use FilleZilla. But without any warning it is to dangerous for me to use FileZilla. I think it is not very complicated to realize this. In addition there could a option in the properties dialog to activate and deactivate this Move-Warning-Dialog; because some do not like it.

There is currently no way to filter IN items passing the specified test. For example, right now I need to see only file names that (1) contain ".dsc" and (2) end in ".jpg". There is no way to do this.

A quick and dirty enhancement would be to add a checkbox that, when checked, causes the filter to INclude rather than EXclude.

I've marked this "high" priority on the presumption that this would be easy to do and would significantly improve the usefulness of filtering by making all boolean operations possible. From a boolean algebra point of view, the current filtering options are logically incomplete.

Current version of Filezilla 3.7.4.1 is using GnuTLS 3.1.11, and GnuTLS is already at 3.1.21 (old branch... the new is at 3.2.11) that fixes several bugs and security problems... please upgrade Filezilla.

As the summary says, this would make it a lot easier to verify which files were actually uploaded. I often use "Skip if same filesize" which, has happened that it skipped a file I wanted to upload because they had exactly the same filesize. It's also just generally nice to see which files were uploaded.

We would like to use FTPS to protect the login step only. We understand this only provides limited security but it does prevent the login and password from being stolen so it is better than plain unencrypted FTP.

Using CCC over full encryption also improves reliability when dealing with client side and server side routers / firewalls since the rest of the FTP communication can be followed / understood by them. This is extremely useful when you have no control over what hardware / software sits in-between the client and server.

I edit files in a windows environment. The file extension tells the editor how to behave. The target platform is legacy, where a filename has 1-8 characters only. Request example for copy file from windows to legacy: FILENAM1.CBL -> FILENAM1. Also: FILENAM2.SBL -> FILENAM2. Example for copy file from legacy to windows: PROGNAM1-> PROGNAM1.CBL (only one possibility here). WinFTP Pro has this feature. See also ticket 5400. Thanks.

The ability to rearrange and organize tabs would be very useful. I like to open several FTP connections to several load balanced servers simultaneously with identical folder structures, for instance:

ServerA --model --view --controller ServerB --model --view --controller ServerC --model --view --controller

It would be good if I could drag tabs to organise all models to be next to each other without having to close and reopen.

When updating to a new version, Filezilla loses all the Quickconnect information. The purpose of Filezilla is to make it convenient to upload files to websites, including not having to look up all this stuff every time. And the more you use Filezilla, the more you tend to forget all these connect details. Until a new version of Filezilla is releases, and you update to it -- then all that information is lost, and you have to look it all up again! Very inconvenient for your users -- almost makes it not worth upgrading to the new release.

At the very least, add some way to view the Quickconnect info, so we could at least print it out before upgrading to a new release, then type it all in once again after the upgrade deletes it all.

Internet plans (like mine) have sometimes different capacities in different hours of the day and night. Would it be possible to set the time to start for downloading/sending files from/to remote server at a certain time? For instance, I have a limit of my LTE connection for 35 GB a month plus another 50 GB between 1 a.m. to 7.a.m. As a journalist and a photographer I have to send pretty big graphic files to my editor, so with my internet plan it would be more convenience to set a time shift in sending these files during the night time.... Current implementation of recursive directories delete does not allow for over-populated directories (i.e. directories containing more files than the server's listing output limit).

Proposed solution: implement a 'thorough delete' right-click command on directories which would: 1) execute a delete as currently implemented 2) check whether rmdir command was successful 3) if not, go back to step 1

In FileZilla there is an option to pause downloading files by clicking on process queue, but it stops all files to be downloaded.

Is it possible to stop just a single file while downloading?

It is oftenly required when we're downloading a lot of files of large sizes and for some duration want to use internet bandwidth for another purpose than downloading multiple files at a time.

Can you add link to putty into filezilla settings and add icon for execution to the panel? Like it's realized in winscp. If connection type is sftp, then if click on icon, then putty opens this connection with current auth params.

We have restricted the user to their home directory in ftpaccess.ctl. User is able to list the files when using FTP in Command Prompt whereas the same is not working while connecting using Filezilla 3.7.4.1.

Please advice on the changes to be made in Filezilla Client.

In CuteFTP there are up buttons for both the client and the server panels. The other button is a bookmarks button which is CuteFTP's version of synchronized browsing.

Adding an up button just to the right of the drop-down menus for both the client and the server would eliminate the need for an unnecessary extra click and really make navigation slick because of synchronized browsing. Putting the up button on top of the grey background like the labels with the drop-down menu in between would probably be the best way to achieve visual consistency. Additionally since it seems customization is important the ability to remove the button via the 'View' menu would be great for those who want to remove the button.

Our company uses FileZilla to all our FTP accounts with all our employees on Windows 7. Up to 3.8.1, we have been running our accounts off a soft symbolically linked sitemanager.xml ( via mklink in cmd )file that is backed up offsite, and thus available to all our employees as they work on their specific version of FileZilla. When we updated to 3.9.1, FileZilla is now unable to see the mklink'd file's contents, and returns 0 bytes. As this has happened across all our computers, and we've re-linked the files numerous times with no success, we've reverted back to 3.8.1 so our business can continue to operate.

As a clarification, the file itself is not located on an internal server, as some of our employees do not work in the office. It has been setup on each pc's with a soft symbolic link that references a file in a local folder that is backed up offsite and each of our pc's have that cloned folder ( Dropbox ).

We'd love to provide any additional information to assist in this bug's resolution, as it is and has been an intricate part of our development model for many years.

It would save a lot of time for users if it were possible to remove individual entries from the Quickconnect bar. Right now the only option is to clear the entire bar, and then reenter each server's information, a tedious and (should be) uneccessary procedure. I have old, unused servers still in there because it's such a hassle to reenter them after clearing the Quickconnect bar. Please consider this.

Hi, Today when i remove a folder on a sftp server (ssh connection) the remove takes a long time, and its doing file by file removal. Even though its safer and a way to let time for regret, there must be a button for instant remove, for the people that do that on purpose.

removing folder with ssh is simple as one command.

rm -rf foldername/

In past versions of Filezilla, I could use the tab key to go from the local site panel to the list of files below, and then to the remote list, and then to the list of files below that. Now (to the best of my understanding), I cannot use the tab key to get to either of the lists of files (I can use the tab key to get to the path of the local and remote sites).

I quite relied on using the tab key in this way -- now I have to use the mouse and it's much slower! Could you return the tab order to what it was two versions ago?

Please add in a feature that will alow me to store a list of my servers online. Every time I have to install FileZilla I have to reenter my list and I think it it would be much easier to allow your users to login to an account and retrieve all of the servers they have stored online from any location.

Hi, this could be considered an enhancement request to the current version or perhaps a bug report as the Filezilla client for Mac used to work this way. When you select and hit enter on a file to upload it to the server, then click over to another window such as a text editor, when you click back on the Filezilla client the previously selected file is highlighted in gray. But you can't simply press enter to re-upload the file. You have to physically click on the file again to get it highlighted in blue and then you can hit enter to upload it.

This seems minor, but it has slowed my workflow as I typically edit a local file but need to test it right away on remote test server as I don't have a local MAMP setup.

To help conserve network bandwidth, a great feature would be to have the speed limits change based on the time of day entered by the user. These would change automatically based on the system clock and the user-defined times.

For example, let's say that between 6AM-11PM we have the family using the internet and we don't want to have filezilla taking all the bandwidth. We do want to allow filezilla to have no speed limit after 11PM but the next day, at 6AM, we want the limit to return:

I use a helper in my macbook and when I close the lid of it and turn off the monitor when you reopen the lid and turn on the monitor toolbar display remains hidden. Ai can not drag the window filezilla. What I realized is that most applications for Mac possesses a menu called "Window", this menu is to minimize the window options, restore, etc ... could you put this option for those occasions

In my use-case, I often have to connect to many FTP servers so I usually just rely on quick connect to connect. But sometimes I find myself visiting some server frequently and I want to open the quick connect history and right click an item and import it as a site.

I should not have to re-enter the password and details because I usually get them on phone or through email and it's sometimes very hard getting a hold of that login info again.

I have been looking for FileZilla Server for Linux everywhere, but so far, no one has created or compiled a version. I checked the forums, but everything I saw was related to the Client software.

I often use FileZilla to connect to FTP services that frequently change their port numbers, so it's a little annoying to have to agree to the certificates each time the port changes.

In the future, could there be an option to consider certificates valid as long as the host remains the same?

I often come across a website helpful enough to provide a clickable link to an FTP service, however, FileZilla doesn't appear to know that it can open these, at least on my computer.

Could we register FileZilla as a URL handler for FTP, SFTP, and FTPES hyperlinks, to make it easier to open them?

I often want to connect to an FTPES service, and FileZilla is proving cumbersome to do so--QuickConnect seems to default to FTP (unsecured), and the standard FileZilla interface for creating new, remembered connections has many fields to enter one at a time. Wouldn't it be great if users could just paste in FTP/SFTP/FTPES links into a sort of address bar, as we do all the time in Web browsers?

we have the issue that not all directory content on our ftp server is listed. Hidden Dot-Files are not shown and diretorys with hidden files can not be deleted. We already activated the "Show hidden files" option.

We observed that FileUilla uses the "MLSD" command to retrieve the directory content. But other clients, like WinSCP use the "LIST -a" command.

Can you add an option to force "LIST -a" instead of "MLSD"?

Can you add the button on top panel that hides pc local drives? I know you already have one button, but it hides only one panel and the other one stays on place.

This is a request for a command line argument to prevent checks for updates when Filezilla launches.

I'm using FileZilla in a setting where users don't have admin privileges. Consequently, the automated check for updates isn't very useful. The user can click the notification box's "Install new version" button, but the installer can't proceed.

When i use the "synct" option in the client, both local and remote folders are synct in browsing. But when a folder on one site doesn't exists you get a warning/error message to disable sync browsing or cancel.

Now, i really hate that feature because if a folder doesn't exists, 9 out of 10 times you want it to add it to the currect folder structure so both online and offline are exctly the same.

So the Request in this case is to skip the warning/error message and give a popup with the oppertunity to sync that particulair file or folder so that both on-and off-line version is the same. With a button to cancel this option ofcourse.

Well that says it all . But for more clarity: If you are FTP connected to a website you also have a (to be configured in FileZilla Client) dedicated driveletter or driveletters (multiple sites). This would be very helpfull with editing files.

We are getting ready to start implementing AppLocker in our environment. We use FileZilla extensively. Can you guys start entering your signature into the EXEs you create? The publisher information. This will help on allowing people in our organizing to be able to update their own Clients without the IT department needing to be involved everytime you do an update. I am attaching to what it looks like with I retrieve the info from Excel from Microsoft to put into Applocker.

Currently if I drag and drop file(s) into the file list panel (FileZilla Client), the list will scroll up and down while dragging at the top or bottom of the list.

I like this future also for the directory tree panels.
