Hello... When opening the Site Manager or Preferences Pane, the main application screen shoots across my screen into a corner. Then, I get two error messages (see attached) and then I can not access the Preferences. I can enter the Site Manager.

I'll attach in one PDF.

If you don't put a password in the site configuration in the site manager, Filezilla will not prompt for one. I do not want the client to save/cache passwords for administrative accounts. This worked properly in 2.2.31 (and prior), but is broken in 3.0.1.

When I try to connect to the host server for our website the connection times out. It appears that the login information is not being submitted to the server.

When I use Filezilla 2.2.32 I do not have the same problem. The beta version of Filezilla is 3.0.1

Mac OS X version (Intel version specifically in this case).

Whenever a new window is opened such as when clicking the "Open the site manager" button, the current window relocates (sometimes off the screen) and the new window opens in a random location.

If the main window relocates off the screen, the only way to fix it is to quit and restart filezilla.

When one deletes a site, the confirmation dialog box come with "Yes" and "No" buttons in french version.

In v3.0.4.1, the "View" Category is missing from the menu, specifically, there does not appear to be a way to refresh the view. I discovered this when a coworker deleted a file from the server, and it was still appearing in my list. Even when I closed and reloaded FileZilla, the file was still showing in the server's directory list. Pressing F5 DID successfually refresh the directory list.

When dragging files and folders to new locations, they are copied if going between a remote and a local site, or moved if staying within the same site. However, the icon always indicates that the file will be copied, even when it is actually being moved.

Even after my session has expired and the connection terminated, I get a "Break Connection?" alert when I attempt to re-connect. FileZilla should know that the connection has expired and not alert me.

I like to use Fz to update software on my client machines, but everytime I do that it constantly asks me about what action I want to take.

I always want the new file written over the old.

In Filezilla 2 a to a filename in the remote site was automatically shown with the file showing the new filename as happens in any windows explorer environment.

In Filezilla 3 the filename remains the same after renaming it, requiring a manual refresh. Would it be possible have the filename update automatically again after a rename?

Immediately after installing 3.0.8 I resumed work and on my next attempt to use F5 for refresh the interface never returned to me. Killed app. Tried again. Same. Repeat, repeat, repeat.

Sometimes, users cant see movies they upload in the display list whatever FTP Servers. In fact, only AVI files aren't displayed. Take an avi file, upload it, it will be in FTP but you won't see it with FileZilla. You need to use another FTP Client. More precisly, it's the file extension .AVI which isn't listed (MIME type isn't checked). Upload any files, rename it with the extension .avi, refresh, oh it disappeared !

the attached file contains a "refresh" log with debug lvl 4. AVI files are on the server but filezilla doesn't display them.

I am having trouble downloading certain files from my webhost. I think this has something to do with the filename itself. The filename has 1 space, a colon (:), and underscores.

example file name: "2008-05-01 13:52:14NO_GAME_FOUND.txt"

I have tried an older version of FileZilla (2.2.19a) running on Win 2000 Server SP4 and downloading the exact same file works.

The GUI shows the active mode been set with the correct external IP address but still teh server replies with the internal ip address (LAN IP) of the client and says cannot establish connection. On checking through a Packet Sniffer it can be seen that filezilla is actually sending the LAN IP altough in the console/log/gui it shows its sending the external IP.

Issue with 3.0.9.2 and also with 3.0.9.3 - nightly build

In the previous build of Filezilla Client, it remembered what the local site last preference was (ie: sort by Modified) It does not do it now but it still remembers the last preference of the Remote Site.

I use a media player that uses an .xml file for the playlist. I tried uploading three instances of the player to some webspace last evening. None of the three would work. I have another instance of the player on the space that I had uploaded probably with a 2.xx version of FileZilla. I finally traced the problem down to the playlist which is an .xml file. When I was reasonably certain that the problem was with the .xml file I got FireFTP and uploaded my playlists with that program. The players all work with playlists uploaded with FireFTP. I have two computers and I tried with both computers. To check I uploaded the files using FileZilla 3.0.10. All the players broke again. Reuploading the files with FireFTP fixed the players again.

My Computers both run Windows XP Home OS. They are Core 2 Duo computers with 2GB of ram. I had version 3.0.5 running when I first encountered the problem. I checked for updates and updated to 3.0.10. I have attached one of the .xml files. I did not download one of the broken ones to compare.

Today I updated to Filezilla 3.1. I can no longer get connected to my predefined website www.hpnonline.com. I was able to connect prior to updating. My other urls are still working fine. Deleteing and redefining the url has not helped. Neither has uninstalling and reinstalling Filezilla. Here is what the log file says: Status: Resolving address of www.hpnonline.com Status: Connecting to 71.180.69.5:21... Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message... Error: Could not connect to server Status: Waiting to retry...

I can connect to my website via MicroSoft FrontPage, so the server is working and connecting.

After upgrading to the latest verions of FileZilla, 3.1.0.1, previously configured connections now fail, with the following errors:

Error: Could not read from transfer socket: ECONNABORTED - Connection aborted Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing

This worked as recently as build 3.0.11.1 version.

We connect via servertype 'FTPS-FTP over implicit TLS/SSL', not specifying a port in the connection details.

What has changed in the Filezilla version which no longer allows this connection.

I'll be reverting back to an older release until we're able to resolve this issue.

Just installed 3.1.0.1. Disappointed to have my language set to Dutch automatically, I switched back to English via settings, but this is only the case for the menu and not for the names used in the file list panels and the bottom panel and the tabs used in this bottom panel.

I'm always annoyed when a install program decides form me that I should use some other language than English. Although I'm Dutch I don't like the translated menus (much to long in my native language) and I always use the English versions of software on my PC.

Anyway I like this soft a lot... Keep up the good work.

In FZ 3.3.3 (and former versions) the icons for "directory listing" and "directory comparing" are inverted.

I was trying to upload photos from my PC and when I finish I cant open my website,show me this message

When installing FileZilla-2.2.0 (on a WinXP box) it offers no capability to install for "All Users", and instead unconditionally installs Start menu items in the current users' start menu (whether they be an administrator or not).

FileZilla-2.1.7 had a similar bug. It installed to "All Users" but the permission of the files were set to be unreadable by anyone other than the user who installed them.

Hello I am a very glad user of filezilla + filezilla server ! I've found a (little) bug : it is impossible for filezilla client to erase directories in filezilla server if this directiory is too big, if it contains many subdirectories and many files. Example : directory = image of WINDOWS-XP installation CD. Timeout on connexion duration stops this operation before it is complete. Timeout on connexion duration is not reinitialized at each operation (LIST ou DELE). To erase such big directories, it is necessary to proceed in several (many) smaller erase operations. I am using the new snapshot of FileZilla and i have a problem. The "UP" directory now works but i have another problem in that as soon as i use it i cannot then get into any folder i have not previously been in to.

Looking at it, there seems to be a problem with the /:sd:/ I am not sure if it is being stored twice or something but if i delete it from the Remote Site bar i can then travel into directories manually.

Also, it seems when you go down a level from the root directory and then go back, when you next try and go down a level it fails becasue it is trying to enter :sd:/:sd:

Whenever I start FileZilla (running version 2.2.24b), I have to adjust the size of the columns in the "Transfer queue"-window part.

But although I've set FileZilla to remember its settings, the Transfer queue *never* remembers about the widths!

This is quite annoying, so a bugfix would be greatly appreciated!

It seems that Filezilla is not able to rename a file twice that is located on an Mac OS XSan (1.3) Volume. It also seems that filezilla cannot delete a file after it has been renamed.

Initial file name was test.php. After renaming it once to test2.php any further attempts to rename or delete the file errored out. I tries closing the restarting the application but the results were the same. Seems like there is some strange file name caching happening somewhere in the interaction.(please note that I have shortened the paths for read-ability)

Tests with other sftp clients (Winscp382 and Tunnelier) seem to indicate that this is an Xsan-Filezilla specific issue. Rename and Delete operations worked normally on other non-Xsan volumes on the server (i.e:/var/tmp/). I will try to update Xsan today (version 1.4) to see if it resolves the issue. Just thought you might want a heads up.

Drag & Drop and double-click to edit Files is not longer working at 3.0.0-4beta!

At all older Releases it works pretty well.

Filezilla 3 seems to get unusable.

I maintain several multipage websites and I frequently use FTP to update changed pages only. The most useful folder view for this operation is to show files in date-modified order, newest at the top.

I would like to have FileZilla remember the way I left the folder and present the same view next time.

Alternatively, I'd settle for a preference setting to pick the default folder view.

Auto-refresh of the local file list wouldn't go amiss either.

Maximizing the main window, changing column's sizes - these are things I can do without problems, but as soon as the application is closed and then re-launched again, all those set sizes are gone..

When I download a file, it ask me to overwrite, resume, ... The third checkbox is "N'aAppliquer qu'aux téléchargements". It should be "N'appliquer qu'aux téléchargements".

Description of problem: If you close multiple copies of Filezilla quickly or simultaneously, you get an error.

Steps to repeat:

1. Open two instances of Filezilla. You do not need to connect to any sites. Opening the application is enough.

2. Close them quickly. The easiest way to do that is to Ctrl-click each button on the task bar for each instance of FileZilla, then right-click and Close Group.

3. You should get two errors:
4. "Failed to create backup copy of xml file"
5. "Failed to copy the file '%appdata%\FileZilla\filezilla.xml' to '%appdata%\FileZilla\filezilla.xml~' (error 32: the process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.)"

[Note that %appdata% above means the path to the user's Application Data folder.]

It looks like an error with filename collision for temporary files.

When using the site manager to set a site-specific "Limit the number of simultaneous connections" option, the option checked/unchecked and the number of connections I set state are not saved (are ignored, in fact), regardless of the user hitting OK or "Connect" after doing the site setup.

I recently tried to download a 50MB file to a drive which only had 20MB of free space. After a partial download of 20MB, an error message came up (which was correct) and a "File already exists, what shall I do" dialog was displayed - I guess this is wrong :-) See also screenshot attached.

Using 3.0.4.1 on WinXP Pro. Behavior in FZ2 was that when focus is on Remote Site panel or Local Site panel, user could start typing using the 10-key portion of the keyboard, and the focus would narrow to folders matching user input. This still works using the primary keyboard area and number row, but not using 10-key.

Expected behavior - any keyboard input while focus is on either Remote or Local Site panels would search/focus on folders/files matching user input.

(Sorry if my jargon is off, this is the first bug/feature ever submitted.)

OS: Windows XP Pro SP2 FZ client: 3.0.4.1

It is possible to get the interface to show duplicate drive letters in the "Local site" directory listing (not the tree view, in the actual file list).

• Open FZ client
• Select "My Computer" from the Local directory tree so the listing shows the drives in the computer
• Click the "Filter the directory listings" button
• Click "Cancel" on the "Directory Listing Filters" window

There should now be a duplicate drive letter shown in the directory listing for the local machine. On my machine this is reproducible 100% of the time. There is no log information to post for this.

Additionally, minimizing FZ and maximizing again will sometimes cause a different drive letter to show up duplicated.

I am using leopard mac osx, when i edit a file from the FTP (with my editor), i close the file, save it, and I return to FZILLA window, then I can see the main window, but I can not get the windos that says..... changes, upload the file.... because it can not get the focus, but main window neither, so i have to kill the fzilla.

I think it is a problem with the interface. it's not developed thinking in leopard.

I run leopard in an macbook 2,2ghz(core duo intel) and I can see in the about, that fzilla is compilled for powerpc platform, perhaps that's the problem.

When running the configuration wizard, the text on the final results page after running the text do not wrap and overflow off the display window.

This is a copy of the message I left on the filezilla forums about the issue.

I can't explain this one. About 45 of 55 folders were duplicated into a folder locally when copying files to my machine.

Here is the situation... I have a whole bunch of photo files I was copying from my ftp server on the internet to my windows machine. Most have .jpg extensions, but some didn't. There are about 55 folders with about 5+ gigs in there.

I copied the files to my local machine by doing ctrl-a (select all) on the server and dragged them to the queue. I then went into the queue and removed the recycle bin, trash files, logs, etc files and folders that I didn't want copied to the local machine.

After the transfer I checked that all the files transfered correctly by going from one directory to another and using the directory comparison.

First thing I noticed was that all of the photo files without file extensions were the wrong size (larger locally). I figured out that they had all been transfered using Ascii instead of binary... this is no big deal... that was my fault. I didn't realize Filezilla would default to ascii instead of binary on files without extensions. I would think it should default to binary, but that isn't the reason I'm writing.

Starting in the 12th folder(not counting sub folders) and continuing through the rest of the folders I started seeing files duplicated from the previous folder in the current folder. So the 12th folder contains the 12th folder files plus files from the 11th folder. The 13th folder contains files from the 13th folder plus files from the 12th folder, but not the 11th folder. The 14th folder contain files from the 14th folder and duplicates from the the 13th folder, but not the 11th or 12th folder.This was only locally and not on the server, so filezilla must have done it when processing or creating the queue.

If what I am writing isn't clear, I'll try to diagram the files structure of my local machine 11th folder --11file1.jpg --11file2.jpg --11file3.jpg

12th folder --11file1.jpg --11file2.jpg --11file3.jpg --12xxxx.jpg --12yyyy.jpg --12zzzz.jpg

13th folder --12xxxx.jpg --12yyyy.jpg --12zzzz.jpg --13q1111.jpg --13q2222.jpg --13q3333.jpg

I now have to go through and manually delete a whole bunch of files because they don't belong where they are, but I assume it also meant that filezilla downloaded almost twice as many files as it should have.

BTW I'm using filezilla 3.0.7.1 on a Windows 2000 Pro Service pack 4 machine.

I ran across an FTP server that responds in a way that FileZilla doesn't expect when MKDIR finds a directory that already exists. The response is:

517 <path>: File exists.

Button "Refresh the file and folder lists" now translated as "Обносить список". It's don't right. Right version "Обновить список".

Connection attempt failed with "WSANOTINITIALISED - Not initialized, need to call WSAStartup".

On any (!) connection attempt!

When updating via Help->Check for updates..., FileZilla attempts to connect to a URL to download the new version, but the progress bar stays empty and FileZilla freezes and the dialog gets "(Not responding)". Killing the FileZilla process and retrying eventually works, but not necessarily on the second try.

Seems like FileZilla might be handling update-download connection failures poorly.

Versions: 3.1.1 and 3.1.1.1 (Not 3.1.2 since there hasn't been an update to download with it yet.)

Sorry I don't have any further details. Hoping someone else has experienced the same problem and can add info.

If the default remote directory for a web site is invalid, the Windows Error Reporting (aka Windows Crash Dialog) appears stating, "SFTP module in FileZilla based on PuTTY's psftp component has stopped working" and the helper process fzsftp is terminated.

I have been trying to upload a 1.2GB file with FileZilla via the queue. Not once has it uploaded fully but that could be due to networking issues. However FileZilla crashes if there is an error in the upload process.

Also on smaller files the upload sometimes does complete but the file is corrupted i.e. the byte sizes mismatch.

This happens on both the latest stable release 3.1.3.1 and the release candidate 3.1.4-rc1.

How can i help to further troubleshoot as i am not sure if there is any trace/log left.

A downloading FileZilla client crashes and loses the download queue on my friend's computer when I restart my computer which runs the FileZilla server application he is connected to. Last time the crash situation included an "Illegal operation" Windows error.

I just recently downloaded the most recent update. I downloaded the files and folders from my site; I couldn't see my folders on my local directory. I tried to download them again, but got the overwrite option window. I refreshed my directory and then saw my folders. This has never happened before.

Installed new update and started filezilla client

Changed theme icons to classic and worked fine.

Exited program and restarted and OpenCrystal theme was chosen again.

I've tried a 5-6 other themes but they stick to whatever theme you've chosen BUT classic jumps to OpenCrystal

The "Automatically remove transfers" option under the "successful transfers" tab doesn't work on Mac OS X.

Filezilla Version 3.2.4.1. The Bug still remained after updating to 3.2.4.1. I often have a very bad and nerving problem. I use Filezilla for editing files on the “ftp remote side” (server side). My

default editor is Notepad++ and I use the “widescreen-view” with directory-trees in FileZilla. Now my problem: I perform a right click on “ftp remote side” on a file and then in the context menu I click 'edit'. The Notepad

opens the file and I do modifications. I save the file and click into the FileZilla-window (on “ftp remote side”) and confirm

the overwrite prompt. And then sometimes this bug appears: FileZilla moves another file (the one I have clicked onto in order to go back into the FileZilla window) into another directory

of the directory tree. I have not clicked and dragged/moved the file! I have only clicked the file in order to go back to the

FileZilla window and then I confirm the prompt. I think the bug comes only in a sequence of unfortunate events.

If synchronized browsing is active and a folder contains a lot of small files (>100) the following behaviour was observed: Some files where selected and uploaded. While uploading is in progress, the folder is changed to another folder with a lot of small files (>100) on the local side. The folder is then not changed on the server side while the upload is in progress. Another folder must be selected after upload is finished to synchronize the folder view again. This happens in version 3.2.6.1 and before.

Version 3.2.6.1

When downloading a .zip file of size 322MBytes, the download continues past 100% and the downloaded file grows to be larger than the source file. Even when the cancel button is clicked the transfer continues. I had to close the window to cancel the transfer. The downloaded zip file can be opened, but it is not possible to extract the files. Get message that archive is in an unknown format or corrupted.

observed with FileZilla Client v3.2.6.1

When I use the "Copy URL(s) to clipboard" action in the context menu of the remote view, and the filename contains certain characters, e.g. "č", "ě" and many others -- possibly all of which are not in the active Windows code page (for me that is CP1252), the program crashes.

If I highlight a file (remote or local) and press the "Delete" key, it deletes. However, if I do the same with the "Del" key on the keypad, nothing happens. It looks like the key bindings are off.

Steps to reproduce this bug:

• Connect to an FTP server that is nonexistant
• Try to connect to an existing FTP server for the dialog box that shows two options on whether you want to create a new tab or abort connection and connect to the new server
• Select the abort connection option and then try to open a directory.

I got a nasty problem with 3.3, when i double click on a folder (or file), I will sometime enter the folder but at the same time, get into rename mode (like when I slowly select a file and click again to rename it).

The tricky part is click e.g. on a directory named "files" and having in file a directory named "img" in the same position of the files dir on the screen (behind the cursor after entering the files dir). I enter the files dir, see it's content but also see a folder being renamed, the folder name being "files". Pressing escape to cancel the rename action will in facts rename the "img" dir into "files". The original files directory will not be renamed.

This happens also when uploading a file by double clicking. After the first upload, the file is still selected. Single clicking on it will either :

• Go to rename mode (if the cursor has moved after the first upload)
• Do nothing (normal behavior)
• Upload the file again (cursor did not move after the first upload)

Double clicking will often upload the file AND go into rename mode. I have to hit escape every time in upload the same file. Or I have to unselect it.

The date (in Lithuanian) is included as the first part of the filename. The date column is empty.

I'm using FileZilla client 3.3.3 and when I use the ampersand (&) symbol in a password for a site it is stored in the XML file as '&' not '&amp;'. If I manually change it from '&' to '&amp;' then FileZilla is ok until I update the site or close and reopen FileZilla. Updating the site affects 'sitemanager.xml' and closing affects 'filezilla.xml' (<LastServer><Pass> tag), thus 'filezilla.xml' cannot be read and the default settings are used.

I've attached screen shots of the errors generated for each of these files.

After changing the interface theme in settings, the icon bar icons are updated but not the icon for the speed limits. (see bug #5504, but for linux this time round)

After the upgrade to gnutls-3.1.9 I can no longer enter a passive mode connection with my ftp server. gnutls-3.1.8 works.

Description:

FileZilla freezes when downloading multiple files with "Limit number of simultaneous connections" set to 1 from two servers when one file finishes.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open connections manager
2. Add an FTP account, set "Limit number of simultaneous connections" to 1
3. Add another FTP account, set "Limit number of simultaneous connections" to 1
4. Connect to account 1
5. Connect to account 2
6. Start downloading at least two bigger files from server 1
7. Start a download of at least one file from server 2 (while the queue on server one has at least one download that has not yet started)
8. As soon as the download from server 1 finishes, FileZilla crashes.

When transferring a large batch of files on 3.9.0 (hundreds of files averaging between 2KB and 300KB), 10 simultaneous transfers at once, the UI locks up (although the app is still downloading and the command echo window is still scrolling through commands). The downloading slows to approximately 5-10% of available network speed (and I can see the echo window slows commands to this rate as well). Once all files have been downloaded, the UI becomes accessible again.

Note, I had no problems performing the same actions above on 3.8.1. On that older version, downloads were at full speed and the UI never locked up.

I confirmed that this is a new issue introduced since v3.8.1. I recreated the issue on 3.9.0, then I downgraded from 3.9.0 back to 3.8.1 and the issue went away (speeds went back to normal and UI was accessible during this download process). So that rules out an issue with my computer, OS, network or server.

I have not tested if this affects multiple simultaneous uploads as well.

When you try to rename something while already in rename mode, the client crashes.

e.g. When you're browsing files in the file list, whether local or online, it's possible to click a file and then click it again to rename it,

but right before the filename gets selected and 'rename mode' is entered, it's possible to right-click the file and get the normal context menu.

By then clicking 'Rename', the client crashes.

I am using filezilla 3.9.0.6 on linux with wxWidgets 3.0.2.

After starting filezilla, without connecting to a server or doing anything, the filezilla process uses 99% of a CPU Core, and the X-Server process raises its CPU load from 1% to about 60%.

I was uploading to an FTP and wanted to change the simultaneous upload settings. Once I changed from 2 to 8 and pressed the "OK" button, FileZilla crashed. When I reopened, the setting had not been saved. I changed the setting when no transfer was happening and it saved successfully.

As of version 3.13.0 connecting to certain SFTP servers causes fzsftp.exe to crash. All previous versions of FileZilla used to work like a charm with the same servers.

We connect to a client which uses Alternative Midnight Format (24:00) timestamps when retrieving directory listings using sFTP.

This system has logs, several of which roll at midnight, making the occurrence of these timestamps somewhat common.

When a directory listing is performed against the server, the data returned is:

(file name = testdate, 
 file size = 3 bytes, 
 file timestamp = 4/5/2016 00:00 == 4/4/2016 24:00)

The client window shows the file name as "24:00 testdate" and properly shows the date/timestamp as 2016-04-05 00:00 when using ISO 8601 format.

When retrieving the file, the command sent is:

get "24:00 testdate" "c:\temp1\24_00 testdate"

and fails because the file indicated in the command does not exist. Other commands against the file also fail for the same reason.

It is my understanding that ISO 8601 indicates midnight as 00:00 or 24:00 of the day prior, both being valid formats.

Ticket #10832 showed this as closed in v3.17.0.1. I just updated a machine with v3.33.0.0 and our AlienValue issued similar message as in Ticket #10832 (below).

I have verified that the UninstallString is unquoted in my registry settings for both Client and Server. ray

Using most recnt client at this writing (3.3.2.1) I have previously and successfully transferred files to my cox.net host space. Today, whether it was a jpg, png, bmp, gif, or pdf the transfer went without error and in a proportionate amount of time for the file size, but on the host all times but one they appeared as zero bytes and were not usable. One time they filled in with the appropriate host file size, but were found to fail to display, and on refresh were zero bytes after all. I didn't try non-image file types so they may have had the same problem. I tried this multiple times in multiple sessions and after restarts. I also changed from AUTO to Binary, and turned passive on/off with no change in outcome.

but if my password contain any chracter, (* ~ % & ^{etc) , then password not working before transfer.}

I was test many times.

I get an "error writing xml file" and several others attached when I try to launch the program. Downloaded it 3X and same thing each time. Wouldn't quit. Had to force quit to move on. Worked fine on the PC.

When the server ftpd set the LANG=zh_CN.hp15CN , the filezilla client is failed to list

directory (displaying empty directory listing). Maybe because of the Chinese Date.

After installing a new update 3.9.0.5 my quick connect data is lost and I have to enter all the data and passwords etc again.

I have not used FileZilla for a few months. I need to update some of my website files, and when I opened FileZilla to transfer them, there was a new update option. I updated to the newest version, 3.35.1.

I always move 1 file first to test and make sure everything is okay. I moved 1 file over to update. Filezilla said that it updated successfully and the last modified date is today. Then I went to the website to be sure the changes were reflected, and there were NOT!

I checked the source code on the website and it shows that it is still the old file. I am not sure if this is a server or client problem.

All I know is that the new file, with today's date shows up in the public_html area in FileZilla on my computer. And the udpates do not appear on my website and the source code on the website reflects the old file.

Also, when I opened FileZilla, I had to connect to my site. It did not connect automatically. I thought that it used to connect automatically when opening FileZilla. I may be remembering incorrectly here.

Ever since last update, it always takes 2 tries to rename a file.

1st try does nothing. 2nd try always successful.

I'm using Dreamweaver as my default editor and when I select two or more files at the same time, the function doesn't work. No error or so, the download process just isn't starting.

On my System with Vista HomePremium SP3 not every password is approved when updating to the newest Version, some passwords are rejected now which workt former with the 3.0.6 Client-Version.

Delete all ver of fillezilla and installed ver 3.18 and got same result of saying new ver 3.18 available. The fillezilla.exe file is ver 3.17.0.1 in the 3.18 download install package...please advise

I need to troubleshoot the problem. Before I change my PC hardware i was working great but after I change my Major PC Hardware and install the Windows OS, I starting to have this problem... It will let me log in at the Nationa-anime.com server, let me view or open file directory but when I try to download file it won't download anymore. I already adjust my Norton firewall including the windows firewall. I can download using a Torrent software. So what should i need to do?

The new 3.52.2 version is crashing when uploading to dropbox. I never had any problems with 3.51 and have uploaded over 2TB of Data with no problems. The new version randomly crashes at different times. I've also tried reinstalling. Is there any chance you can send me a link to download the older FileZilla Pro 3.51 again until there's a fix?

I've updated a local file and even after hitting f5, right click and 'refresh' and closing and reopening filezilla, it's caching the old version of the file. I've checked in file explorer and it's seeing the new version, but filezilla is trapped in the past!

The only way I can upload my new file is to save it in a different location on my harddrive and then upload it.

After upgrading to the latest release, I am now presented with a Unknown certificate dialog window. The 'Always trust certificate in future sessions' is disabled and cannot be selected.

Although I connect to the requested site by just clicking OK on the dialog page, transfers fail with a response message of: 550 The supplied message is incomplete. The signature was not verified.

Prior to upgrade, I was able to connect and ftp files to the requested site without problems.

I tried un-installing and then installing the latest release, but still have the same problem.

Hi! I've several problems.

I used filezilla 1 month ago without problems in my MAC OS X.

But now y try to upload a index.html (3 kb) in my server using filezilla and report a problem, it try to upload, and in a minute says: Target file already exists. Ok. I select Overwrite, and try to upload again and report again the same: Target file already exists. I select cancel (boring) and the file appears in the server but with 0 bytes.

Is very strange, because only happens with some files. Another files can be upload without problems. I have been checking 1 week, but without solutions... I can see that if I create an html without code between <body> </body> i can upload de file. But... Why I cant upload some files and another one yes I can? Whats is the problem? Is a new upgrade of MAC OS X? Problems with configuration? I dont touch anything in this month.

But... attention... I try upload the files from a PC (Windows) and all is ok, there are not any problems.
