With the latest version of Raspbian Stretch (September 2017), I'm unable to SFTP to or from it when running the Mac client. It seems fine with other FTP packages, and it's fine on the Windows client run on the same MacBook's virtual Windows machine.

The authentication log at /var/log/auth.log on the Raspberry Pi recorded this:

This problem didn't seem to occur with the previous version of Raspbian Stretch (August 2017). And, as I said, it doesn't seem to affect the Windows client.

1. Log into an FTP site anonymously, no un/pw
2. Right-click on a file and choose "Copy URL(s) to clipboard"
3. Paste the contents of the clipboard into Notepad

PROBLEM: The copied/pasted URL contains "anonymous@" as part of the URL. This is not necessary and just makes the URL longer when passing it on to other people.

Using Safari 11.0 running on macOS 10.13 when attempting to upload files to my site I get a 530 validation error for my p/w. This did not happen previously with version 3.27.1 nor does it currently so I am not updating until this bug is fixed.

Mind-numbling stupid, but on a linux system I can create a directory using ftp ftp.mkdir('xxx/ xxxx') enter directory 'xxx', and list the contents (not using filezilla), I get ' xxxx'. I can add a directory 'xxxx', and place a file in directory 'xxxx' filezilla shows two 'xxxx' directories, and if I open either directory then the file in directory 'xxxx' is displayed. I can remove directory 'xxxx', but filezilla still shows that it exists, and it cannot be removed. if I rename the directory ftp.rename('xxx\ xxxx','xxx\xxxxx'); I can remove it using filezilla. As I said Mind-numbingly stupid!

I keep getting this error when I launch my app, Ive tried deleting everything to do with FZ but still get this error.

Since version 3.28.0-rc1 FileZilla is not opening in Linux Mint, I tried opening the "/FileZilla3/bin/filezilla" with two clicks but nothing happens. When accessing the terminal as root and trying to execute the same BIN the command returns the following error:

I am not able to auto connect to a site.

In the past when I opened FileZilla, it would automatically connect to a site. But now it doesn't and I have to go into the Site Manager to connect.

FileZilla 3.29 update failed to install correctly. Mac OS X 10.11.6, MacBook Pro, Intel Core i7 processor. Downloaded FileZilla_3.29.0_macosx-x86.app.tar.bz2 to my Downloads directory Unpacked the bz2 file in place to FileZilla_3.29.0_macosx-x86.app.tar using WinZip 6.0.3507 Unpacked the tar file in place by double-clicking on it in Finder. Moved FileZilla.app to the Applications directory, replacing my existing version of FileZilla, 3.27. Tried to open FileZilla 3.29 app by double-clicking on it in Finder. Immediately get this message from Finder: "The application “FileZilla.app” can’t be opened." Restored my 3.27 version from TimeMachine; works fine. Repeated the above steps; same result. Unpacked the app again onto the Desktop. Same result. I didn't find the download digest on the FileZilla downloads page. Suggest putting it there so users can check that the file was not corrupted.

I've used FileZilla for years, love it. Updated frequently, using same install procedure. Not a problem before.

I am not able use filezila last few days..this error coming when i am using other laptop this fttp runing but in my laptop not runing

I am using FileZilla 3.30.0 in order to connect from my Windows 10 Home 64 bit PC to my office server (Windows 2003 server) through a VPN internet connection.

I am able to upload (from my PC to the server) files of any size, but cannot download files larger than a couple of Kbytes: in the example below, the transfer fails after 2,920 bytes, restarts the loading (where it stopped, I imagine), fails again after the subsequent 2,920 bytes), and so on, until in the end it aborts the connection before having managed to load the whole file.

I hadn't used this connection in order to download contents for quite a while, but am pretty sure it worked well with my previous home PC (which was running Windows 7). This is a new machine, to which I copied the FileZilla parameters.

I am using Macbook mid 2009 10.11.6 el capitan vpn on | FileZilla was working GREAT! until the newest update came recently.. Now all I can do is log into my ftp sites. All ability to download simple files is failing the filezilla process. Please Advise..

The update never gets placed in the Temp directory for the update. It's been doing this for a month now, below is the log for the error.

Can save save/transver all files from your client to the server except .taccess files never have this issues before and using you from years.... is your quality and support will change in microsoft?

Filezilla Pro has issues with locating the local drives and files. it only recognizes the download folder and lets you download files only there. The free Filezilla has no issues with that. Please help!

Moving the location of the private key file for SFTP login doesn't work.

I have several SFTP sites set up whereby the folder for their private keys changed from C:\ to W:\.

All of the sites work perfectly to log in and browse the remote folders. The problem occurs when I drag and drop a local file to the remote server. In this case, it tries to reconnect to the remote server using the OLD keyfile location.

You can see the error message "Skipping non-existing key file "C:\0_Work\".... in the attached copy of the message log.

When I connect to my A-Drive account via SFTP I can't stay connected long enough to do anything. I can't open any folder that has more than a few files in it before the connection times out and resets. The connection times out after 20 seconds, and Filezilla can't open a folder and list its contents in 20 seconds if there are more than a very few files in it. Sometimes even when there are only a few files or sub-folders.

I had no trouble like this when I started using Filezilla a month or two ago, but since early this week it happens every time.

I am using the latest version of Fileailla, 3.33.0. I just updated from this site yesterday, and updating makes no difference.

There is no file of that name in Temp, although it appears briefly during the download. 8MB in 16 seconds is exactly right for our 4Mbps copper, so something's deleting the file.

I installed FieZilla, which immediately offered me a new version. I accepted and was sent an archive. I did not find a readme or other installation guide. For example, the de-archiving program asked me what to name what I was extracting. I assume that has to be a name that will be recognized by the OS desktop environment's main menu. I don't know what that name is, although maybe someone on the Internet knows. I assume I have to configure configuration files external to FileZilla, but I don't know which files or to say what. I assume the installed directories and files have to go to certain locations, but I don't know where and it's probably not the de-archiver's default destination, which is the /downloads/ directory for my login. And I think I see "nightlybuild", perhaps as an owner's name, which suggests that I'm upgrading from a stable version to an unstable one without notice, even though the right-hand version number is "0".

Please include an installation guide. A root-level readme.txt file might be all we need.

Please tell us if the new version is stable, especially in the old version's offer of a new version.

This installation attempt was on June 20, 2018.

As soon as the language is set to default system language (which is german on my system) or to german language, the settings/preferences windows uses the full width of the screen.

I have no more your software when the update is begun, I obtain the following error message: (can' t write: C:\Programme Files\FileZillaFTP Client\filezilla.exe). What is the problem and it would always be the case in the future?

• Open a local app such as Microsoft Paint
• Drag an image file (*.png or *.jpg) from FileZilla's local folder tree to this app
• The file can not be opened. An error message is displayed "C:\Windows\system32\XXX was not found

Replace XXX by some asian characters (I am not able to type them)

Similar issue with a different file:

• Open a local app such as Notepad++
• Drag an text file (*.txt) from FileZilla's local folder tree to this app
• The file can not be opened. Nothing happens.

Having issues with uploading files to remote servers.

When uploading, the directories are created, however, the individual files are failing to upload, even though FileZilla reports ALL files successfully uploaded.

I have confirmed this problem using different computers, as well as uploading to different servers using varying configurations. The program specs are below. Note, this issue is present with Windows servers as well as Linux servers.

I CAN go into the individual directories and upload the files without issue.

When I download the latest release of FileZilla Client for Mac, I get an error message displaying that it is not supported on this type of mac and the file might be corrupted. I'm on macOS Mojave. Any idea why? It was displaying the same error message before I upgrade to Mojave. I use FileZilla most of my time so it is kind of critical for me not to have access to it atm..

Configuration files are not shown anymore. I created a file .text. It is not shown. I tried to create again. I get the message, file already exists.

I use the app switcher (CMD+Tab) to switch between applications on MacOS. However, I've noticed recently that FileZilla no longer shows up on the list of running applications on the app switcher.

This means I have to have it visible, so that I can click in the app, or I have to click on the app in the task bar so that I can find it again.

I'm using the Apple Store 'FileZilla Pro' version.

Most local directories and files are not displaying in the window. However the Downloads directory works. Is this some sort of file permissions issue?

After that: I go to the "Edit/Settings" tab and then I click on the subheadings "Associations by File Type" and the latter is always empty. I always have to redo my associations for my files. Would it be possible for you to include this option when we save our parameters?

The display of the file/directory ownership on the server is incorrect. The FTP authorisation flags (eg. fle or flcdmpe) seems correct. In the appended screen print, all owners appear to be ftp:ftp, but of directory test it is actually root:root.

Not sure the error is in the Client part (or what trade the Server part is).

Error message my customer is getting is This server does not support FTP over TLS. If you continue, your password and files will be sent in clear over the internet.

Unfornatetely i can't determine the position of the keys in pageant.

when trying to open any other directory other than desktop in filezilla pro for mac version 3.42.1.

when trying to load something like the download folder i can't even see anything in my parent folder. i have tried to locate the folder my manually typing in /Users/*NAME*/Download/ or /Users/cadetbester/Music/ both of which do not show the files that should be there.

I'm on version 3.41.2. I can't report a bug without upgrading to 3.42.1. When I upgrade it wants me to load 3rd party virus protection software. My company doesn't allow that, so I cancel out of it and it doesn't install the software. So I can't report the bug. Which is by the way, Filezila runs at system startup and I don't want it to. And I can't find it in the startup files. My only option at this point is to uninstall it, and install it when I want to run it. Pretty lame stuff.

I am running a local min.io s3 server on my local network and FileZilla Pro can not connect to it.

I set the hostname to my min.io s3 server network IP address but I can see in the access logs that FZ ignores my host entry and simply uses an Amazon address instead which of course fails.

The host IP address is entered in the "Host:" box as 192.168.0.43 and Port: 9000 however FZ Pro shows that it is trying to access a different server: Retrieving directory listing... Status: Resolving address of s3.dualstack.us-east-1.amazonaws.com Status: Connecting to 52.216.9.37:9000... Error: Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing ... so it looks like it has used my port number but ignored my host IP address and used something from AWS or something internal instead. This seems to be a bug because it is entirely reasonable to expect "Host:" to allow me to connect to a s3 server at my own IP address.

Download and add files to queue are greyed out

The whole problem is that if two files are named the same. e.g. rules.php and one is on the remote server and the other on the local disk, then editing this on the local disk causes that it overwrites the remote server file.

Hi, We manage a forum phpbb with filezilla and we can't get in. This morning, no problem, but now we have this "error 530" and we don't know why (we didn't do anything). We are trying from two separated computer (one in belgium, one in france, one windows, one mac), so we don't find any answer to this issue. Can you help us ? We are stucked.

In the last few months (using newest versions at the time) I have had to change from "Use explicit FTP over TLS if available" to "Only use plain FTP (insecure)" or it will timeout (30 seconds) on listing the remote directory.

I recently had ATT install their "Fixed Wireless" service for Internet at my house. The ATT Fixed Wireless system uses an antenna on the roof to receive signal from the ATT cellular network to deliver Internet via a wire to a new router they installed the home. It is NOT a "hotspot." Anyway, after it was installed, I found I could no longer use FileZilla to connect via secure FTP to my server (I previously never had any trouble). Fortunately, I had not yet disconnected the previous Internet connection, so I switched to that router and was able to connect as I had previously.

I called ATT Fixed Wireless for some help and, although I ended up getting disconnected before I was connected to tech support, the "receptionist" opined that the issue could be related to lack of support for "port forwarding" in their ATT Fixed Wireless service. I do not have sufficient knowledge to know if that is the issue, but mention it in case there is any relevance.

The settings that I have always used for this server are:

I tried the two other "secure" protocols available in FileZilla (using the ATT Fixed Wireless network) and the result was the same unsuccessful connection attempt. Then I tried the standard unencrypted FTP over Port 21 and that worked fine (e.g. the ATT Fixed Wireless successfully connected me to my server using vanilla FTP, but would not work with any secure method).

I did not try SFTP because I have never been successful in getting that set up on the server or client side.

It is hard to believe this is not something I can resolve with a tweak to an existing setting (which I do not know about), but if not, it seems to me that is is going to prevent me from using FileZilla and I certainly hope that is not the outcome, because the ATT Fixed Wireless connection is 20 times faster than my now-disconnected DSL.

FileZilla 3.45.1 was the only version I could start on my Mac, but now it crashes on launch. At the bottom of the message there is the report. All other newer versions, after installation, return the message "The application could not be opened"

The top folder pane is nearly unusable on Mac OS Catalina. When trying to navigate it shows empty folders on top in the tree view. Responses to clicking folders are erratic.

The only way to navigate now is to use the lower files/folders tree view.

On clicking FileZilla app Mac OS Malware popup warning states "FileZilla.app will damage your computer. You should move it to the trash." Checkbox is checked "Report malware to Apple to protect other users." The popup offers choice of moving to trash or cancel.

This is new since the most recent MacOs update to 10.15.4

The app is not usable.

I have tried to upload my videos to my server, but have come with a technical issue where the server doesn't receive all the data within those video files. They come out half-baked, so to speak. I can view the video on my server-end to a certain point before it cuts off, indicating that the video did not upload 100%, despite the server giving me a report that the uploading was successful.

I used to have no problem uploading similar videos to my server until now suddenly. I think it had something to do with an update, perhaps. Nothing else has changed in my settings and content I upload before the problem occurred.

My file size for my videos is on average 1-2gb, and they are in mp4 format. I still got plenty of space to go around on my server.

The videos often upload until 60-70% before calling for action on my part. I can overwrite the file in which case it just starts the file uploading from the beginning until the same issue appears once again. If I press "Resume", it will simply not upload the rest of the data and claim it is finished even though it is not.

Thus far I have:

• disabled my firewall
• Changed the timeout setting to 0.
• Changed the speed limit box to unchecked.
• Changed the default transfer type from Auto to Binary.
• Changed the default file exists action from "Ask for action" to "Resume"

I have tried every different combination possible with these settings to see if they help, but no help.

When I gave the same files to my brother for him to try to upload them on the same server using his computer in a different house with his own internet and settings, he was able to upload them to 95% before hitting the same issue. He was able to get further than I ever could despite many attempts, but somehow neither of us can hit 100% upload without issues.

The feedback I get on the console reads:

• Response: 451 [Name of the video file]: Append/Restart not permitted, try again.
• Error: File transfer failed

I hope this is enough information to get you started, but feel free to ask more information and I will provide it.

I needed to update the index.html file to reflect new information. I dragged the new version from local site to remote site.

I got the "Target file already exists" dialog, which is set to overwrite. I did not click OK yet, because I was waiting on confirmation regarding the updated information. Target file size was similar to that of source file, since little information was added.

I left the computer for just under 30 minutes with the overwrite dialog still on screen (this was an accident). The connection was active when I left the computer.

When I returned, the dialog was still there and the connection was no longer active.

However, I noticed that the actual website was blank (tested on a couple of devices and confirmed by third party). I cancelled the dialog that was still on screen and again I dragged index.html from local to remote.

Server reconnected and the overwrite dialog appeared once again. This time, the target file that was going to be overwritten (index.html) showed up as having a 0 byte size. This is consistent with the blank website I encountered through the browser. I OK that dialog and now the new and updated index is live, no problem.

Unfortunately, I was not able to reproduce this error myself, nor do I have the logs-because the client was set to not save them by default I believe, and I exited the program before deciding to submit a report. Still I thought this might warrant some looking into.

I did try searching for this bug but did not find it. It was a hard bug to search for, language-wise.

Getting this error on sftp site, coworker is able to get in with the same credentials so we know it works. Tried filezilla versions 3.48.1 and 3.49.1 and got the same error in both places. This is one of two sites I have

My php program can create directories via code. When I generate a new directory and do a refresh, the new directory does not show up in the listing.

But if I open another instance of Filezilla, there it is.

Received "You do not have permission to list this directory" when in fact Filezilla Client was given Full Disk Access and Full Folder Access in the Preferences.

Since a couple of versions the counter and log of said tabs do not work anymore.

I use an old ftp hosted on a french free FTP server, specifically by free.fr (it's an ISP and offers ftp hosting). I have little clues how to know the FTP server version:

I combine synchronized browsing with directory comparison.

For some reason, the file sizes, even though they are identical (I checked), are mismatched, which shows files being different when using the comparison feature. Those files are text files.

I suspect the issue might come from the FTP server sending erroneous, 1000 or 1024 rounded file sizes, or something similar.

OS is windows 10, filezilla 3.48.1.

I'm not sure if the filezilla team is very fond of this comparison feature, I'm not sure if it can be customized for my needs, but I really like this feature. The feature seems to work fine for jpg and PNG.

I use Filezilla for 10 years uploading video to different stocks. Three weeks ago I lost ability to get any successful transfer to Shutterstock. Uploads to Adobestock are OK. Here below I explain the problem and copy the log.

• For three weeks I cannot get any positive transfer on Filezilla (Cyberduck shows the same problem) uploading my 4K video files mp4
• No problems with uploading to other footage stocks
• Filezilla version and my PC data is attached No1
• I tried all possible setting of FZ but no result. My usual setting you can see attached No2
• I tried to upload on three different PC – the same
• Transfer starts and proceeds with no problem, reaches 100%, waits and starts again. You can see screen shot of the waiting and the log in this moment attached No3
• If I change the time of the waiting still it will start again and again but later
• I have good internet by the way
• The transfer of the file was done twice then it dropped to the Fail box of Filezilla as you see attached No4 and No5. Below this letter can see the log of these two transfers and failure also I attach No 6 the screen shot of the file as it appeared on my SS Submit content page. I NEVER MANAGE TO RECEIVE SUCCESSFUL RESULT SHOWED BY FILEZILLA but the files are transferred. Corrupted or not I don’t know. But SS gives me failure note attached No7.
• I live in Turkey. Fethiye city, Mugla region. The transfer trial has been done 28 August 2020 around 16:40-17:10. I tried in different time different days. No result.

Without entering a bucket name, the Client must do a ListBuckets but that might not be permitted. Also, I might only care about one bucket. I consider this a bug since it prevents me connecting to a bucket without ListBuckets permission.

3.51 compiled just fine and it seem the change in toolbar.mm is causing this because you use setToolbarStyle:NSWindowToolbarStyleExpanded, which is only available from macOS 11.0 onwards, see ​https://developer.apple.com/documentation/appkit/nswindowtoolbarstyle/nswindowtoolbarstyleexpanded?language=objc

A menu continues below the bottom of the viewport, so the bottom commands cannot be seen.

Steps to reproduce:

0. This is based on the display resolution being 1440x900.

1. Access a directory on either side of the window.

2. Navigate to a directory that has no more than three folders (not counting the ".." pseudofolder) (I don't know whether the monitor's window size affects the number of folders and files relevant to this bug) and enough files to populate the pane to the bottom of the pane.

3. Select the file on the bottom of the pane.

4. Without vertically scrolling, context-click (usually right-click) that file. You'll get a menu but you won't be able to see the bottom of the menu.

5. Tap the up-arrow just once. This will select the bottom command even though you can't see that selection.

6. Keep tapping and count the taps (probably one or two more) until you have selected a command and you can read the selection.

7. Tap esc to dismiss the menu without selecting a command.

8. For a comparison showing proper menu behavior, select a file near the the top of the pane.

9. Context-click that file. You'll get a menu and you'll be able to see all of it.

10. Dismiss the menu without selecting a command.

Actuality: Truncation of menu, per STR 4.

Expectation: Whole menu no matter which file or folder we context-click.

Additional information:

When truncation could occur, the top of the menu should be above the file or folder selection, so that all of its commands are visible.

I tested selecting 3 adjacent files at the bottom of the viewport, putting the cursor (a pointer) at the bottom file in the selection, and context--clicking. The menu began at the cursor. Therefore, in some circumstances the menu should begin above the cursor, not at the cursor.

Using the latest filezilla: 3.53.1 on Windows 10: Connecting to server : Ok Clicking on remote directories : Ok, Shows directory contents. Dragging a file from remote to local directory:

• Filezilla creates a new connection on the control channel.

This is probably not a problem on a real ftp server. But I am debugging a tiny server on an ESP32 controller. And this controller can only handle a single client at the time. So it does not handle the new connect attempt while the primary connection is still active.

As a result, the new connect times-out, and the file download fails.

I wonder why Filezilla makes a new connection. Should it not continue with the existing connection?

I have used Filezilla for many years and never really had a problem until recently. I had noticed that one of my webpages had Chinese Charters added to the html code. This appeared to happen as I was downloading the from using Filezilla vs using Hostmonster.

I'd like to understand if this is a bug - it does very much look like one to me.

Scenario: FTP server behind NAT

Behavior without proxy: When using FTP passive mode, and the server replies with its real IP address, Filezilla ignores it, uses the original IP instead, and uses the port for data connection. This is absolutely correct.

Behavior with proxy: When using FTP passive mode, and the server replies with its real IP address, Filezilla send a new request to the proxy but uses the server reply. The proxy tries to contact the server's real IP, and (in most scenarios) fails.

I found this issue with FTPS, not plain FTP, but the implementation might be the same. It doesn't help that the traffic is encrypted, otherwise I could have found some workaround. But with encrypted traffic I have no chance to do so.

This is an very awkward problem.It's been annoying me on my notebook for 5 months now and when it started on my local server as well I can now track it down to the install of Filezilla 3.53.1.

First things first.

My laptop started to fail to boot into network. After some log search I always dig the following error message from syslog: Apr 15 16:50:31 Quietearth2 NetworkManager[1244]: /usr/sbin/NetworkManager: symbol lookup error: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libcurl-gnutls.so.4: undefined symbol: gnutls_srp_allocate_client_credentials, version GNUTLS_3_4

Removing /usr/local/lib/libgnutls.so.30 makes network manager start again.

Now the same error ocurred on the reboot of my server after the recent first time installation of filezilla client. And the same workaround made Network-Manager start again.

It is the lib that came with filezilla.

My laptop is a Kubuntu 20.04.2 Thinkpad T460, my server is an Ubuntu 20.04.2 Dell Optiplex 7040

I downloaded the tarball of the client and copied the files from bin, lib und share in /usr/local respectively.

If I can provide further system info and logs, feel free to ask.

I suspect the libsqlite3.so.0 to have a similar problem but I can not provide the same clear evidence as above.

Then close filezilla and in Windows, change the screens so the left screen is dominant. Open filezilla, and it is not visible, it is on an imaginary screen to the left of the default screen. The application fails to move beyond Getting started with FileZilla Pro screen upon purchase from the MacOS App Store. When the only options available are Subscribe (center screen under logo) or Quit (bottom right). I cancelled the subscription. Pressing the Subscribe button only extends the subscription after current subscription period ends.

I have some directories where files are stored by version. It would be very nice if it would sort naturally: right now 1.3.3.10 lists before 1.3.3.5 for instance...

I recently encountered a very strange file corruption problem.

The scenario is that I upload a file from my PC(macOS) through FTP protocol with Filezilla(v3.55.1) to an FTP server(windows).

Note:

I have set the FTP mode to passive and FTP transfer mode to binary.

if the file size is bigger than 1M, it would be corrupted, but there are no errors shown at Filezilla. (File transfer successful, transferred 6014038 bytes in 12 seconds) I check the MD5 of the file at the server-side. Which has diverted from my client-side. I capture the packet of the communication between server and client with Wireshark, does not find any explicit error. I also hex dump the content of the original file at the client-side and the file at the server-side and compared them, the former 16385 bytes are different, but the remaining bytes are the same. (approximately 360000 bytes).

More info:

if the file size is smaller than 100KB. It could be uploaded successfully. if the upload speed is limited under 500KB/s(enable speed limit in FileZilla), the larger file could be uploaded successfully. the file could be uploaded by other FTP clients to the same FTP server without corruption, so the FTP server is working fine.

I tried other FTP client, which can also upload the files to server without corruption.

I although check with my two colleagues' PC (both MacOS Bigsur), they can upload with FileZilla(same version) successfully without corruption.

at first, I doubt that there would be some problem with my network condition, but the md5 of the file I uploaded is the same every time even if it is corrupted.

Any help or tips would be very appreciated.

If the local folder (no matter it's located in HDD or external USB drive) selected contains more than 10,000 files (in my case 14,600 JPEGs, with average file size <1MB), I quitted the FileZilla client and re-opens again, it takes at least 5 minutes to see the interface (not even started to connect to any server). My iMac was idle at that moment (no other software using significant resources).

Can the startup performance be improved?

Trying to update FileZilla from 3.46.3 to 3.56 on MacOS 10.15.7. Downloaded installer FileZilla_3.56.0_macosx-x86.app.tar.bz2. Unpacked it using WinZip, in Downloads folder. I get a message saying that it the file I wanted to drag to the server already exist. When I click cancel - I get a message saying the file transfer was successfully completed - which it is. So, it might be that the algorithm is trying to copy the same file twice?

I have updated the Filezilla recently and after update, the local folders are not visible. Unable to upload folders having files. It is uploading the empty folder only. I have to enter the folder and then upload the files individually in each folder.

The "Always trust this certificate in future sessions" and "Trust this certificate on the listed alternative hostnames" checkboxes are greyed out and cannot be clicked.

I used xyplorer(third party application) instead of windows explorer Not too long ago, when drag & drop any file from filezill to xyplorer, it's success with no error. But! now, isn't working.

[Alert Error Dialog Message] Cloud not determine the target of the Drag&Drop operation. Either the shell extension is not installed properly or you didn't drop the file into an Explorer window.

And, a directory is generated on the xyplorer window which name is 'fz3-16414476052330'

I use FileZilla on OpenSUSE Tumbleweed.

It used to be the case that, when FileZilla finished uploading or downloading a bunch of files, if FileZilla was not the currently focus application, it would emit a baloon notification on the bottom right of the screen just above the tray icons, system clock, etc. I'm not sure what those notifications are called.

Now it has stopped doing that, and I haven't touched any configuration.

I can't load or copy 2 directories from the FTP Server. The owner claims that all affiliates have the same rights. Another FTP client e.g. CoreFTP works properly.g.

Wen I press the 'Refresh the file and folder lists' button for a connection where I have configured a 'default local directory', the file browser for the local side changes to display that folder. I usually do not want that, but just to reload the remote side and stay in the same directory locally.

I have been using filezilla for years. I have always used the synchronized browsing. It has stopped working for me.

I just installed the latest version of Filezilla, 3.57.0. Now when I try to upload files to my website, I get these error messages: "331 Password required" and "Critical error: Could not connect to server."

I have never experienced this before, in all the years I have been using Filezilla.

FileZilla is a very efficient file mover. However, there is a problem of time stamp marking where the moved file has the "modified" date as the current date instead of the original "modified" date of the file being moved. This problem occurs with the FileZilla menu selection "Preserve timestamps of transferred files" activated.

For reference, the Windows 10 copy and robocopy utilities preserve both the "modified" and "created" dates.

This FileZilla operation causes my backup operations using robocopy to needlessly copy files that are already up-to-date.

I've attached three file properties screen shots - 1) the original file; 2) the FileZilla upload; and 3) the robocopy upload. Notice the time stamps of the original and robocopy file are identical while the FileZilla file has a different "Created" date

I have one biiig file on my FTP-server - about 97Gb. When transferring the file, I get "Error: File transfer failed after transferring 9 031 122 944 bytes in 1810 seconds"

It looks like the transfer resume, but it is really confusing that the transfer fails after each 1810 seconds.

(I have tried with Windows 10 Command-line FTP and WinSCP and noen of those fails).

Nice if that can be sorted / fixed in an upcoming version.

Upgrading from Filezilla 3.40 to 3.58 (64 bit on Win 7), version 3.58 always shows file list for local machine as blank or no files. Cannot find solution in forum or other tickets.

Also could not find on download options to fetch older versions - was unable to use FTP for days until found a copy of 3.40.

Keep up the good work, Filezilla is the best FTP client available, but when it fails, we fall into the blackhole. :)

I keep trying to log in on the website and every time I try to connect it just says Error: Connection timed out after 20 seconds of activity and could not connect to server. I'm unsure how to fix this.
