Hi. I've used FZ for many years. Love it.

I've had an issue crop up since the upgraded to 3.36.0. When connecting via explicit TLS it freezes for 3 minutes, then won't connect. And finally windows reports that FZ has stopped working.

This is on a site that has been working on explicit TLS for years. Another oddity is that when I go to help->Check for updates..., it's never able to connect. It checks continuously until I close the window. It never connects and tells me I have the latest version.

I've attached the log.

Note, this is not an emergency. I'm able to connect via sftp and everything works normally there. I'm must reporting the bug so it can get looked at in due course.

I have a Windows 10 virtual machine on a Mac. In windows explorer, I have 2 drives, "Home on 'Mac' (Y:)" and "AllFiles on 'Mac' (Z:). In prior versions of FileZilla, these drive show on my local site: side.

Although I work mostly in Windows, I store some things on the Mac side.

I updated my FileZilla to the current version, 3.36, and now those Mac drives no longer show. Looking through all the menu items and icons, I cannot figure out if there is some setting that has them not show or what to do to have them show.

To confirm that I could see those drives in a prior version, I downloaded an older version and they just show up in the local site tree.

Hi, there is a bug with uploading files to storj. I ve just test to upload few files and the progress goes upper then >100%. I stoped uploading manually on ~130%. Actually i don't know what Filezilla try to upload when file size less than 790mb but uploaded more then >1300mb.

In testing a webcam's FTP uploads, I have a need to do multiple recursive downloads every few minutes to verify that new image files are successfully getting uploaded. Since my webcam uploads are going into multiple directories by day and hour, it is easiest to do a recursive download from the top level. I am doing this by dragging the root webcam folder from my ftp server to my local directory in FileZilla. The recursive search works successfully the first time, but then subsequent drag/drops of the root folder will not actually re-scan subdirectories, but rather only use locally cached information of the remote directory structure. So I am missing newly created files on the remote server to download since the first time I downloaded in this FileZilla session.

It appears that it will eventually do a forced full re-scan of subdirectories (observations indicate that this could be every 15 minutes or so), but not on every drag/drop. Clicking on the "refresh the file and folder lists" icon only refreshes the top level folder and not any subdirectories.

Steps to reproduce:

1. On the "remote site" zone, right-click and choose "create directory"
2. Choose a directory name and click OK

Expected behaviour: The directory listing should be refreshed and the new directory should be shown with its permissions (drwxr-xr-x or whatever) and its owner/group.

If you right-click on it and choose file permissions, the current permissions should be shown (usually 755 which are the default permissions when a new folder is created)

Observed behavior: After the folder is created, the directory listing is refreshed and you see the new folder, but the permissions and owner/group are not shown.

If you right click on it and choose "file permissions", you can't see what its current permissions are: you see "xxx" instead of 755. If you manually refresh the directory listing (such as clicking the refresh button on top, or leaving and reentering the containing folder), then the file permissions are shown.

After turning off sync folder switching you can't switch folders in the local file window. Opening new connection "solves" the issue. Local folder view drops back to user files location.

OS: Windows 10 Pro x64 Filezilla Client: 3.37.0 Target Computer: Ubuntu 16.04.5 LTS (openssh-sftp-server)

Issue: I have no network connectivity issues between client and target. Filezilla connects just fine and can navigate around and upload small file. I recently upgraded to 3.37.0 and ever since then when i try to upload a large file (1.5G .zip file) it starts the trasnfer, gets to about 800 kb and then Errors out with Network Error: Software caused connetion abort. File Transfer failed. I tried using another ftp client and the trasfer worked just fine. I've been using filezilla with this server for years with no issues until recently.

Hello, following the update of Ctte night (from 18 to 19), FileZilla Propoé me to install its new version. And then there's nothing. Well, I know, I had not backed up the data for connextion and so much the worse for me. Nevertheless, I was able to export two, the only ones that stay. Despite the good FTP data, no reaction for the connection. J says that I therefore have: 1/Export the two connections that were proposed to me. 2/That not working and having lost the other 31, reinstall Filzilla. And there's still nothing. I would suggest to have a enable/disable logging feature for each user or user group. Simple reason: I use an IP camera which uploads periodically pictures using FTP and this will flood the logging-file. If I could disabled logging for each user, I could switch off this.

I have several sites in Site Manager all of which have Synchronized Browsing set. Regardless of which site I select, the server is correctly accessed but the local folder remains unchanged (ie it stays as the last folder accessed even when Filezilla exited and restarted). Synchronized Browsing remains not set in View menu.

No errors of any kind in message log (addresses removed):

Hi, I have a client that is using FileZilla to connect to our internal server over a VPN tunnel. He can connect but then will periodically get disconnected with a "failed to retrieve directory listing".

I can connect to the same server using the same FileZilla version as he is and have no issues. Also there are two subfolders within the root. They are not displaying for him but are for me. If he manually enters the folder name in the Remote site field he can get into the folder with no issues.

He's connecting using FTPS on port 990.

It appears that the message log at the top has now changed to a dark grey background, with messages showing up with a white background. No functionality issue, purely aesthetic.

FileZilla 3.37.1 on macOS 10.14 beta 18A389.

Not sure if this was an issue with this specific release of the Mojave beta, but 3.37.0 did not seem to exhibit this issue on the same Mojave release prior to updating.

Filezilla on macOS Mojave has a few issues which include the following:

1) Dragging files from a folder to the server causes the client to crash. You can still highlight and click upload by right clicking through the context menu 2) UI issues with the dark theme (it's difficult to see) 3) UI issues with the client size (it starts huge and needs to be resized smaller)

These issues make the client very difficult to use on macOS.

1. The Limit for Concurrent Downloads setting over-rides ALL Global and Individual site settings for Transfers!

2. The Queue Priority setting also over-rides the User setting for Maximum Multiple Connections of Individual for sites.

Flexible User settings are no good if the program takes no notice, like the Concurrent Download Limit setting controls everything to do with transfers. As does the Priority.

Eg. For a Session

• Maximum Simultaneous Transfers = 10
• Limit for Concurrent Downloads = 5
• Limit for Concurrent uploads = 0
• Site 1: 10 Queued transfers, Priority Normal, Maximum Multiple Connections = 3
• Site 2: 10 Queued transfers, Priority High, Maximum Multiple Connections = 3

Process the Queue and five Transfers will all start at once from Site 2; instead of two Transfers from Site 1 and three Transfers from Site 2; This blows-out Site 2 because it has a max number of connections/session of 3. Also, despite the Maximum Simultaneous Transfers being higher, whatever the Limit for Concurrent Downloads is set to, that is the number of transfers that will try to start, not 10. Also, setting the Priority up or down has a similar effect.

My thoughts:

1. Globally: The “Maximum Simultaneous Transfers” should be the only setting to determining the Maximum number of Transfers that FileZilla starts at any one Session. (ps: 10 also seems a bit small in these days of High-speed Broadband).

2. Globally: Limit for Concurrent Downloads should perhaps be Limit for Concurrent Downloads per Site; and determine the maximum number of Transfers to start on any Site at one time, UNLESS the Maximum Multiple Connections is set.

3. Locally: Limit for Concurrent Downloads per Site should not override the Maximum Multiple Connections setting.

4. Locally: Queue Priority should not override the Maximum Multiple Connections setting.

When I upload a file from my computer to the remote site, it says the transfer is successful, but it never appears in the new location. I am on the latest version. Help!

I have version 3.37.1 of Filezilla Client. When I try to update to 3.37.4 I get the message, "FileZilla appears to be running." After aborting the installation, a check of task manager does not show any instances of FileZilla running. I tried several times with the same result.

Currently, only pageant is supported. Please add support for the new built-in SSH client shipped with Windows 10 versions >= 1803.

I had been using version 3.37.2 with no problems. Yesterday, FileZilla said there was an update, so I downloaded it and installed it. Version 3.37.3. I then opened it and tried to open a subdirectory on the server so I could download some files to my computer. I tried to open public_html. It didn't open to show the contents. Instead it started downloading the entire subdirectory. I tried opening a few others and the same thing--cannot open them.

When I went to file a bug, I was shown a message that the software was out of date. How can the application not have downloaded the current update? The app gave me 3.37.3 and said I was up-to-date.

I downloaded the adware-free version for 3.37.4 from the Other Options download page (https://filezilla-project.org/download.php?show_all=1) and tried to use it. The same thing happens. After both updates, no subdirectories will open. Clicking twice on a folder downloads the entire subdirectory automatically. I tried right click on a folder and I was shown a list but it has Download selected and there is no Open selection so I can't get to the contents from the list.

Hi, we are connecting to multiple servers using FileZilla but are unable to connect to a server that is requiring both key+password. The only option in FileZilla for establish the connection, is to use the "interactive" mode which works fine. However, we would like to use FileZilla for all our FTP work so please add this combination also. Now we have to use WinSCP for this work and that program is... well... it has a less look and feel, lets stick with that.

FileZilla client starts with invisible window on the desctop. Steps to reproduce:

1. Install the FileZilla client on the Windows 10 x64 using double monitors with the second monitor used as an desktop extention.
2. Start the FileZilla client and move/resize its window to be placed on the second monitor completely.
3. Exit the FileZilla client
4. Turn off the second monitor
5. Restart Windows 10
6. Start the FileZilla client again - it will be invisible. Workaround:
   1. set focus on the invisible FileZilla client window
   2. enter <ALT>+<space> for the window context menue
   3. select "move" and use arrow key to move the window back to the visible desktop part.

I guess the FileZilla client stores the last window placing and use this information in none-start manner to retore the window on the same place. The Microsoft programs like IE do not have such behavior: if the extended desktop is available the IE will restart on the old place. If not - on the visible area.

I am using a customized SFTP Server, which works with SFTP version 3. The connection process is working good, also the init process: Filezilla client send SSH_FXP_INIT with version 3 to my_sftp_server( runs on OpenSUSE 42.3 ), and my_sftp_server respond with version 3.

But when listing in root directory( '/' ) is made the directories from root directory are seen as regular files( the folders are 'Hold' and 'Print' ).

If i write on Remote Site panel explicitly the folder name then then i can access the folder.

Before I could drag files from the local panel to the mail app icon in my dock, a new mail was created with the file as attachment. Noticed in 3.37.3 that this doesn't work any more.

Hi, first of all love the software! i've been using it for years now.

There is one thing that is bothering me allot!!! Enough so for lazy me to acctually make a ticket about it.

The situation: I have allot of sites over 50 in the sitemanager.

When i open the sitemanager and i want to go through the list i type in the first letter lets say "M". It jumps to the first item that begins with "M" awesome!

Lets say there are 2 items with "M" and i need the second one.

So i press the down arrow to go from the first item to the second item.

The second item is the actual one which i want to open, but now comes the problem :(

The first item has a SFTP setting and needs a keyfile from an secure/ecrypted usb stick and the settings are fine but the USB stick is not available at the moment.

Now in order to go to the second item i have to fill in fake settings for the first item just so i can use or select the second item and avoid the error message that says "cannot find the keyfile".

So now i have allot of settings in my sitemanager that won't work just so i can use the sitemanager?!

Question: Can this be changed or fixed or be less obstructive in nature?

Idea: Maybe a extra checkbox that says "external keyfile" so you can avoid the errormessage and aslong as the file does not exist it's just not possible to connect this way you can still use the sitemanager.

Why not save localy: We need the USB stick for security reasons and cannot store it localy or point to a always existing location this goes against are security policy.

It was kinda hard to explain but i hope it makes sense i would love to see a change/patch for this.

The Site Manager Synchronised Browsing setting for an account's entry is not restored on reconnecting using the 'Reconnect to the last used server' button.

Feature request: That ALT+d be used as a keyboard shortcut/hotkey to access the hostname input box.

This is in keeping with the same being used in firefox, windows explorer, etc.

This feature would streamline connecting to hosts, especially anonymous ftp sites requiring no credentials (such as open source repositories).

Currently, the host input box is the default focus on application launch. However, re-accessing the box via keyboard is not possible (at least in Win10) via alt+h due to "help" menu also being alt+h.

Steps to reproduce

• Open a remote SFTP connection, have an HTML file on the server.
• Right click the HTML file, select "View/Edit".
• After transferring, FileZilla attempts to open the HTML file in the OS's default browser.
• In the browser, the HTML file path has a superfluous slash "/" at the end, after the html extension.

Notes

• If the default browser is Chrome, the HTML file cannot be opened correctly (workaround is to manually remove the slash in the address bar). If the default browser is Safari, the slash is still present at the end of the path, but Safari appears to ignore it and displays the HTML file.
• Issue also occurs for local site, when selecting "Edit" on a local HTML file. Issue does not occur when selecting "Open" on a local HTML file.

When deleting a lot of files, there is no progress visible (at the moment I'm deleting 18000 files from a server, that takes some time, and I'd really like to see how much has been done yet).

Erro que acontece quando eu faço um upload de uma pasta inteira com várias subpastas e vários arquivos. O aplicado aponta como upload finalizado, mas os arquivos são criados com 0 bytes. Isso foi observado em várias ocasiões ao fazer upload de arquivos. Quando sobe arquivo único, não há problemas, o problema está relacionado quando sobe pastas com subpastas e vários arquivos. Foi observado tanto com arquivos .html, .php, .jpg, .png, .js, .css e outros formatos ainda.

Please can support for objects larger than 5GB be added to Filezilla Pro. I've checked the settings and I can't see a Large File option to enable.

At the moment, if content-lenth is greater than 5GB the Swift front end will respond immediately with a HTTP 413 error message.

Swift has two flavours of large file support, the older (somewhat deprecated) DLO (Dynamic large object) feature and the newer SLO ( Static Large Objects) feature. In a nutshell, to make a SLO object which is larger then 5GB, you upload the file in chunks < 5GB in size and then once all parts are uploaded you upload a JSON manifest which references the chunks. The emphasis is put on the uploading element as the manifest can be referenced as a normal object by an end-user for download, and the Swift proxy streams the chunks into one object as the download occurs.

It is possible for SLO to be disabled on a storage cluster, but I would not recommend DLO be used solely based on that fact, as it does have some limitations and is generally not recommended for new deployments.

FYI. We (Sohonet) contributed the SLO feature support for Cyberduck, which was accepted.

Files that have already been received and deleted/transferred from the FTP are re-downloading and creating duplicates. This is happening on my end and on my manager's end. We have 13 to 14 users on our FTP site and I am the only person she is getting duplicate files from and I am the only one getting duplicate files in my queue as well. This began after downloading the latest version of FileZilla yesterday. I have restarted my computer and the errors continue.

Whenever you save a configuration in the site manager, it is possible to select the key file for the logon type.

Unfortunately, the key file always has to exist in order to be able to leave the configuration. I have some key files on external devices and therefore the path is not always available. When I want to connect to another configuration, I can not click on this configuration since the still open configuration gives me an error the key file can not be found.

Steps to reproduce

1. Create site A, choose for logon type 'key file'
2. Add a key file from an existing location
3. Create site B, it does not matter what you configure here
4. Connect to site A
5. Close filezilla
6. The last item you connected to was Site A, so this is still selected in the Site manager. Now delete the key file (or move it) like you are disconnecting the storage volume the key file is stored on.
7. Try connecting to site B. This is not possible due to the key file not existing.

Since it does not matter our key file is not available at this moment, since we are trying to connect to Site B (not A), this error should not be in the way of selecting another configuration.

When I tried to create account "bert" on this ticket system, I got this message:

This should probably say "Error: ", because it did not register the user.

Also, it would be useful if it'd say what is the local naming policy; what's wrong with "bert".

When uploading files while using explicit TLS connection the progress bar in queue log will reach 100% (file uploads) and stay at that point until the connection times out (after whatever amount of seconds I set in the settings). At this point the file is actually transferred (I've tried canceling the process queue and refreshing server listing) but filezilla marks the upload as failed and will retry to upload the same file asking me if I want to rewrite the existing file in the process.

It will do that for every file in the upload queue until it reaches the maximum number of retries.

This only happens on my linux machines and over TLS connection, if I boot windows on any of them, upload over TLS works flawlessly, so I suppose that rules out the server (vsFTPd 3.0.3 with virtual users running on Debian 9.6.0)

Correct ports are open on the server firewall and I've also tried disabling firewalls on both sides, didn't help.

Certificate was generated with certbot software package.

Currently, after navigating to parent directory, the subdirectory the user just left is not selected or focused (at least in macOS). The attached patch makes it selected, focused and visible.

For most (p2p) programs this is a very easy option to add.

If option can only be set via manually writing to the settings text file, then on-board client options should be added for ease of use.

Reasons: 1. Privacy; account name becomes a part of the footprints for downloads.

2. Not everybody wants to write to their system drive. Personally since my power mac days tried to keep the system drive just for the system (using partition) and G4 days system drive independent of all work and personal files by directing them to alternate drives. Past 11 years used an mp3,1 upgraded 2 years ago with SSD system drive. I wish to keep writes restricted to system’s demands (run 24/7); other 4 larger drives for work and personal files.

When tabbed connections are available, and you select a tabbed connection other than the first one (before exiting) ... ... then (after restart) the directory tree pane of first tab is resized when you select it again.

Similar uncontrolled resizing happens when just playing with the pane layout selection. The sizes/positions should be memorized per option, so that the same picture is generated in each cycle.

on my MacBook Pro, macOS Mojave 10.4.2 when I transfer files with TLS my CPU is on 110% using FileZilla long time but earlier never noticed this.

When searching for Path does not contain and matching all for the search conditions. FillZilla stills walks the subdirectories even thought the top most directory already evaluates to false. This create a huge delay since the those directories have numerous sub directories and files.

While in Synchronized browsing and folder comparision is enabled, maybe it would be possible to add "Compare with ..." button that would download remote file and open both in external program (for example WinMerge). That would allow for really quick comparision of what changed in files.

Filezilla was working for about 4 days when I started to notice that the same files were send over and over. Watching is closer I see that a connection error appear, the resume counter was not updated and the file started to upload from a much earlier position. Later I see that this was a kind of loop as the connection error was always generated after a certain amount transferred data which was different for each file. After restart filezilla I noticed that all the transferable files where still in the list but the succes fully and non transferable file list were empty.

FileZilla gets into a state where I have a local file and a remote (SCP) file that I am attempting to download. I right-click the remote file and select Download. "Target file already exists" dialog pops up and I do not change options (default to Overwrite). Select OK button.

I get the following error: Status: Starting download of /home/bramankp/filename.here Command: get "filename.here" "C:\Users\paulb\Downloads\filename.here" Error: local: unable to open C:\Users\paulb\Downloads\filename.here Error: Critical file transfer error

If I simply select the local file and delete it (shift-Delete key, in my case) and attempt the operation again it downloads correctly. Downloading *again* I will get an option to Overwrite and no more error until the next time the client has timed out a connection to the server (I guess?) and I'll get the error again.

In the "Local site:" panes, request is to add a right-click menu item: "Show in Explorer"

The functionality would cause the Windows File Explorer to open in the appropriate directory that's already shown in the "Local site" pane.

The queue bar (Queued files, Failed transfers, Successful transfers) is still displayed in a "light-ish" way when using a dark theme. But it is darker then the default light theme, so that the black font is hard to read.

Using a modal dialog to prompt the user on startup to update the application is an extremely intrusive method of delivering updates.

You guys are continuously delivering updates, so the user is continuously being prompted to update every time they open the application.

It's an extra click and a chance to accidentally begin updating, when the user may be in a situation where they need to connect to a server as quickly as they possibly can.

There are many other options you could use that would be better...

• Display an icon somewhere on the application that the user can click on to deliver an update.
• Prompt on closing the application.
• Just let the user manually check for updates through the Help->Check for Updates menu option.

• on the right (remote) panel, right-click on a folder and do "Download folder". Make sure you pick a folder that will take a while to download.
• While the files are being added to the queue and downloaded, right-click on another folder in the remote panel

Expected: the option "Download folder" in the dropdown menu should be available, and by clicking on it you should be able to appending also the new selected folder's content to the queue for download. There's no reason whatsoever why you shouldn't be able to do that just "because" queuing and/or downloading of files from another folder is in progress

Observed: the option "Download folder" is greyed out until the current download is finished.

This has now happened several times on W10. I open FileZilla Pro, and it prompts me to install a new version. When I do, it fails, saying it can't write the .exe - I suspect it's trying to update, and not closing the executing program.

I have to uninstall the old version and reinstall, and it's then necessary to re-enter the registration key.

FileZilla_3.39.0_win64-setup.exe works with explicit ftp over TLS if available on our FTP called - pnecftp001.gijima.com but with the latest two versions we are getting an error - 14:06:11 - Error:A certificate in the chain was signed using an insecure algorithm. 14:06:11 - Error: Received certificate chain could not be verified. Verification status is 2. 14:06:11 - Error:Could not connect to server. I have downgraded again so it can work but it is a problem.

For an entire day I was talking to tech support of a hosting company and trying to figure out what's wrong with my connection. Turns out I have so many keys attempting to be used that the server was denying access with this error response:

Error: Server sent disconnect message Error: type 2 (protocol error): Error: "Too many authentication failures" Error: Could not connect to server

If I removed my keys down to just 4 then I was able to connect. This is a huge pain and bug IMO since I should be able to specify on a per-site basis what key to use if needed like my IDE allows which doesn't run into a similar issue.

Possible solution options?

1) In the SFTP key page in settings allow me to click an "Edit Key" button or something that allows me to checkmark off what sites I want it used on.

2) On my site setting page on "Advanced" tab allow me to say "Specify key file" or allow me to specify key file on that screen for use on that site or select a dropdown from available files to use.

Crazy annoying that there isn't an option for this already in FZ.

If there is not enough disk space, the files are downloading from server with size 0 and placed in the group of successful transfers.

I am unable to connect to the server with one of my websites. As of about two days ago, I was able to see my files on my domain server as well as upload files. Then I received a message in red saying that the domain info doesn't match the host. I called the hosting company for help and they checked out the domain information to see if anything was incorrect. Then the tech advisor kindly checked the Site Manager via remote and saw that everything was correct. Now I no longer see the error message but just "Not connected to any server". I am able to go to the website from the browser.

The other two domains that I have on FileZilla work just fine.

I can't change the name or user id, I did recently change the password.

MacOS is capable of creating aliases of files as well as directories (equivalent to links under Linux) by means of Ctrl-clicking on the required object and selecting "Make alias" (and generally renaming the result after moving it so it no longer has "alias" added, but I digress. Filezilla currently does not see these as directory links to follow, but as files and thus tries to open them instead.

As far as I can tell it does appear to follow a file alias, I suspect that's because that gets immediately handed off to the file system.

Interim fix is to visit the actual directory manually, which somewhat negates the whole point of those shortcuts :).

Usually, the uploading speed could reach 100 MB per second. However, sometimes it is less than 20 MB per second.

My home LAN. I uploaded files from my Mac to my Ubuntu server. The two are connected by a switch. All devices are 1000 Mbps product, including the switch, the wires.

I also see no accommodation for https. Here's how it appears ... ​https://www.mysite.com/docushare Port 80 When I click Connect or okay it fails indicating it found the IP address and yet the connection attempt fails and was aborted. The "/docushare" virtual directory gets stripped off. DocuShare typically uses an IIS bridge to Apache Tomcat for WebDAV. I didn't see anything in your documentation indicating it wouldn't work with Tomcat. I'd like to see some accommodation and can give you temporary access to a DocuShare server for testing. "mysite" isn't the actual domain name, so contact me for this.

Up until version 3.41.2 of the client, when using the Windows build and choosing to delete either a single or group of files from a server, the "Question" sound event would be triggered - this can be found within the Windows Control Panel/Sound/Sounds section. Whilst this may seem like a small thing, it is very useful if the Delete option is accidentally chosen. Please could this be re-added?

When I use the "Create a directory and enter it" option on the local side with a folder name ending in a dot (e.g. "A.T.O.M."), two new folders are shown on the top pane: "A.T.O.M" and "A.T.O.M." - this is because Windows doesn't support names ending in dots so the trailing dot is removed. If I leave the newly created directory and refresh the file list, the folder ending with a dot disappears.

the new feature to specify key specific login is great

but when importing keys on selecting all files from dropdown it does not shows all files i.e. files without extensions

as most linux systems keeps things simple all of the keys that are auto generated by ssh-keygen are stored without ext by default.

Please if possible add the feature to use ssh keys with extension less files too :)

When asking file zilla to close filezilla once after a queue is done, there's a pop-up that there are still files in queue ( after the queue is already done ) this is likely because the last file to be used clogs it up, or because it first tries to close filezilla and then changes the variable to say the queue is finished. This bug however doesn't occur on "Close Filezilla" alone, only on "Close Filezilla once"

The first time Refresh/F5 is used in a session the Status window shows that the refresh was sent to the server, but then nothing happens. Any subsequent Refresh/F5 does nothing at all. The files and folders are only refreshed on a new connection or reconnection.

I've attached a copy of the Status log up to the point where I started this report. Note line 310 where I clicked the Refresh icon on the Toolbar. When that didn't do anything, I pressed the F5 key, then used the menu to choose View/Refresh. As you can see, Filezilla didn't even acknowledge these additional attempts to refresh.

Before starting this Bug ticked, I searched the Bug reports where I found multiple unresolved tickets starting from 9 years ago about this problem. Is this not important enough to resolve ? I've used numerous FTP clients in the past and every one of them had no problem refreshing during a session.

A small improvement:

A LEFT ARROW and a RIGHT ARROW between the 2 panes would allow transfer of data in either direction. The would greatly simplify data transfer. (The older Firefox versions which supported FTA had this feature.)

The waiting list feature (Bottom right on the user interface) is incremented with the size of what is sent. In our case, this amount is calculated with the size of the file shown in FileZila and not effective the size.

The size of the file may change is modified in the same time on the FS. FileZila send the tight file with the right size but incréments its waiting list feature with a wrong amount (the one shown in the interface at the moment of the action and not the size on the FS).

Files with lengthy file names are not getting downloaded and shows the error in failed transfers

The only solution found is to rename the file and resume the download.

Is there any way to overcome the issue
