I currently use 3.8.0 and have to tried upgrading with every new version but always get the following error,so have to revert back.

9:44:32 PM: XRC error: XRC resource "ID_MENUBAR" (class "wxMenuBar") not found
9:44:32 PM: XRC error: XRC resource "ID_TOOLBAR" (class "wxToolBar") not found
9:44:32 PM: Cannot load toolbar from resource file

Status: new → moreinfo

You get this problem while running 3.8.0 or when trying to upgrade using the built-in upgrader? Or do you get that when running 3.9.0.5?

Status: moreinfo → new

No, I upgrade to 3.9.0.5 and try to start it and get the error. When it converts back, 3.8.0 works fine.

Your installation is corrupted, please uninstall FileZilla and reboot. Delete any leftovers from the installation directory if it still exists. Then you can reinstall.
