I found that downloaded copy of shell script files (.sh or without extensions) downloaded through Filezilla are all set to read-only (644) even though they were writable or executable on the remote site. This seems to be an unexpected behavior because a plain scp command doesn't change permissions. The bad thing about this is that stuff like .pkg installers which contain pre-install/post-install shell scripts will get busted because those scripts are not executable when download through Filezilla. Please fix. This seems to be serious. " Bug report new high FileZilla Client permission OS X 10.8.1
