Description (last modified by )
IP filters are not enough for remote logins, specially for admin - if you have DHCP too much addresses are allowed to log in.
When logging in with previous provider I had just 3 filters for admin (~190.000 adresses were allowed), but now (biggest provider in the country, with many IP address ranges) I found that I've had to use much more filters also with xxx.*.*.* masks, so millions of adresses would be allowed!
MAC address authentication (filtering) should solve this.

Unfortunately MAC address information isn't available to normal programs and even if so, it doesn't cross network boundaries.
