-Version: FileZilla_2_1_4a binary from this site -OS: Windows XP SP1 Filezilla shows really bad performance when accessing my SFTP server. In my 100 MBit LAN is get 60kb/s where pure FTP transfers at 6 MB/s. A friend of mine had the same Problem accessing the same sftp server with Filezille (same version) from the internet (speed only 3 kb/s where it should be 80 kb/s). Using another sftp client (SecureFX Demo Version) solved the Problem so I think Filezilla is to be blamed. I used this SFTP server for testing: ProFTPD Version 1.2.2 Mandrake linux 8.2 kernel 2.4 openssh 3.4 |
