I am running Filezilla Client 3.1.4.1 on Mac OS-X Attempting to upload .zip file (28mb) to directory on my website host upload completes to between 80 and 95% complete, stops and I get

Error: Disconnected from server: ECONNABORTED - Connection aborted

filezilla then restarts the upload (at about 40%). I can see the file in my host directory but it's not the complete file (approx 12mb). It continues to do this.

Transfer mode is set at passive I have tried it with and without "Send FTP Keep Alive Commands" - makes no difference. default action is set to resume

I have used this on and off for the last couple of years with a similar issue but setting the "Keep alive' command has normally sorted this out but this is the largest file I've attempted to upload.

Any assistance would be gratefully received.

Sometimes you get ftp download links that are formatted in such a way that they contain username and passwords in the downloadlink. such as: "​ftp://username:password@WEB.URL/RemoteFolder/RemoteFileName" When you copy/paste this link in your browser the download will simply start.

If you extract the required informations from the link (site; remote folder; username; password and filename) and use the 'Manual Transfer (Ctrl+M)' function of filezilla then it doesn't work.

It looks like this is because filezilla always tries to get a directory listing and possibly some other information, which the remote server refuses.

Would it be possible to add a feature that does simply start downloading without any other actions that could be blocked by the remote server? Or a check box in the manual download to disable asking for remote listings. Alternatively a url bar in the manual download dialog into which the user can paste the URL and filezilla automatically extract the information and starts the download.

I have just uploaded from files to my webserver using the Filezilla 3.14.0 builddate 2015-09-16.

On some files when uploading when reaching the end of the file the green box says 100%%

Not sure if you are already aware but I thought it was a good idea to let you know even though it is not a biggy.
