#2811 | "Lock together" the remote and local views toggle
Description |
When publishing files, I often have to upload a file from one directory in the webroot tree of my development server, to the same folder in the tree of the publish server. It's very annoying having to walk both trees every time. It would be very helpful if, at the toggle of a button, I could navigate both views at the same time, provided that the folders exist. It should be simple to check if there's a folder with the same name in the remote view when you navigate the local tree (and vice-versa) and navigate there as well. A bonus would be if the file you've selected on one of the views would become highlighted on both sides. |

#11207 | rejected | "Never" check for updates automatically
Description |
I'm unable as a user to disable the auto-update check: I select this menu item: Edit - Settings Then I select the page: "Updates" In the pull-down menu "Check for FileZilla updates automatically", I select: "Never". Guess what?! A few days later, when I open FileZilla, it shows a window telling me that it is busy downloading a new version. What!? It also shows: "New version available". No, that is not what I expected. |

This occured in version 3.23.0.2 but when I wrote that in the "Component version", the bug report was being rejected because it is not the latest version. Duh, I can only report this type of bug in an older version. If I would download the latest version now, and wait for this problem to happen again, then it would be rejected again, that loops forever. So I lied when filling in the "Component version", sorry. |
