#4533 rejected prevention of ftp credentials theft by a virus/trojan Roman
Description

As a web-designer I recently had a lot of trouble with the gumblar trojan which could steal my ftp credentials (Note: I can not tell if it was stolen from dreamweaver or filezilla...).

A question which came to my mind was: how can I prevent this kind of ftp credential theft to happen again and what could a developer of ftp clients possibly do to help me prevent such theft?

See analysis of the gumbblar attack: http://www.martinsecurity.net/2009/05/20/inside-the-massive-gumblar-attacka-dentro-del-enorme-ataque-gumblar/

#3968 rejected prevent server disconnected from client Darren
Description

I use filezilla for web page development and its a real pain to get kicked off the server because I have to reconnect and renavigate to the folder I was working in to upload a new file that's not already in a queue. If the the file is in the completed queue I don't have to worry I just reset and requeue when the file changes.

After not transferring any files for a certain amount of time depending on the server, filezilla gets kicked off the server . "421 No transfer timeout (300 seconds): closing control connection"

I want filezilla to transfer a small file I specify every 250 seconds or so in order to keep the connection alive and remove the pain of reconnecting every time I want to upload a new file to the web server.

I want to keep the control connection going.

#2258 fixed pressing RETURN key should react same way then double click edosoft
Description

hi

(i dount really know this should be a bug or feature request...)

i set up filezilla to view/edit a file when double clicking. however this works, but when pressing return key i expected the same action as if i double clicked it... this lead to quite a lot too many files downloaded... please change this! :)
