FileZilla Client 3.0.8 freezes for secure ftp connections that use explicit TLS/SSL encryption (FTPES).

Freeze before any log message is printed (debug level = 3).

Version 3.0.6 on the same connection works flawlessly. OS=XPProSP2. (Sorry, can't copy IP address here)

Issue:

Upon pressing the refresh button or F5 with an active connection, FileZilla stops responding. This was _not_ occurring in the previous release.

Steps to reproduce (method 1):

1) Connect via ftp/sftp to a server. 3) press 'F5' key. 4) FileZilla instance freezes and must be forcefully ended.

After experiencing the problem once I disabled the Application Layer Gateway Service as mentioned in the notice at startup of FileZilla. However, disabling this service does not seem to fix it.

filezilla.exe after pressing refresh or F5 staying at about 50% CPU usage. roughly 70-80% of CPU1. CPU0 staying at about 20-30%.

When loading up FZ 3.0.8 on WinXP SP2, it is very slow and on attempting to login via FTP over SSH (using a key), it freezes up and I have to kill the process. No clue why yet. Didn't happen before this morning's update.

I updated from 3.0.7 to 3.0.8, and now FileZilla freezes uploading just a single small (6kb) text file via ftp.

filezilla.exe and lsass.exe cpu usage each rise to about 8% "System" process cpu usage rises to 14%

It does not get as far as listing the upload in the queue, or logging any ftp commands related to the transfer, though it does say "queued files (1)". It's like it fails doing something with the source file, and is retrying thousands of times a second.

The text file being transferred is on a network drive (DFS) on a Samba file server. A previous version of the file exists on the destination. I'm running XP.

Successful transfer reports many successful files; however, windows explorer list the file sizes an order of managutide different.

The file is courpted; therefore, the file was not transfered successfully. Either this is bug in reporting the success of the file, or a missing validation.

Desired out come: large file arrives correctly.

If the file failed then it should be retried (as smaller files). if it is >2GB then file should retry from the frame before 2GB limit; essentally retrying from the 2GB limit.

FileZilla v3.0.8.1 under Windows XP Pro x64 Edition SP2

Expected behavior:

When refreshing either via the 'Refresh' button or with 'F5' the application would then refresh both the local folder contents pane and the currently expanded folders in the folder tree.

Actual behavior:

When refreshing either via the 'Refresh' button or with 'F5' the application refreshes the local folder contents pane but does not refresh the folder tree pane.

Steps to reproduce:

1) Open FileZilla. 2) Open a local folder. 3) Within Windows Explorer or some other program, create a folder within the selected folder from step 2. 4) Return to FileZilla and click 'Refresh' or press 'F5'. 5) FileZilla will now display the new folder within the 'folder contents pane' but not within the 'tree view pane'.

FileZilla client crashes Mac when upload any file. Can download, delete remote files, etc. Worked in versions before 3.0.8

I am using 3.0.8.1 nightly build. After a minut or so i am getting a "421 Timeout" message, which logs my off. The setting 0 - 9999 doesn't seem to work.

I'm using a colour scheme with dark background, which makes black text used in the FileZilla's interface almost invisible. The problem appears in the transfer log and in the uploads list. The tabs at the bottom also mix system colors with white, which makes them quite ugly.

The problem happens both on Windows and Linux, in FileZilla 3.0.8.1.

OS : Windows Vista Premium Family Edition 32bit FileZilla Client v.3.0.8.1 but bug also in older versions. Bug not present in the first version I use 3 years ago on windows XP. -- When client connected to the FTP, impossible to send/download files. The error message on the console is "530 sorry account already used, connexion to server impossible"

I have to add the files I want to send/download to the transfer list, then disconnect from the FTP, and process the transfer list.

I dont know if it's a problem from my internet provider (orange, france) or from the software.

I just installed v.3.0.8.1, and the <F5> key to Refresh the panes no longer works. It worked fine in v.3.0.8.0, but now it's necessary to close down the entire program, and restart it, to see the latest folders on the local drive.

Under Mac OS X 10.4.x, the most recent build that works is 3.0.6, built 30 Jan 2008.

This build attempts to upgrade itself to 3.0.8.1, which does not run under that version of the OS.

I've had a number of users update themselves out of service due to a FileZilla dialog box asking them to do so. PLEASE HELP

I'm running 3.08.1 on a redhat linux 4 64 bit AMD with 64 bit linux OS. When I try to transfer a file that is more that about 1.07 gigabytes the program just disconnects and trys to start transferring again. I'm only trying to copy one file from a Windows 2000 server to a drive on the linux machine. I have the same problem when I try it with a Windows 2003 as the client.

I have a directory with 22,000 folders inside. It doesn't matter how long I wait, filezilla gets stuck on "Here comes the directory listing". If I close it and go back to the dir again it loads rather quickly. It always stalls the first time.

Even if I try to drag the file into the directory I want without opening it filezilla insists on trying to get the directory listing (probably to check if file already exists?).

The default remote directory which can be entered in the Site Manager is either not saved by the Site Manager nor used in the connection.

My FileZilla client version is 3.0.8.1. My OS is WinXP with all service packs and updates installed.

The site wich failed is the first site I entered in the site manager. The default remote directory should be /sdlog/. The remote system runs under VxWorks which is selected in the site manager.

The sitemanager.xml file does not contain the remote directory. Editing of this file has no effect. The site manager forgets this instantly.

I am not able to deliver a debug file because I don't know where I can find this file.

FileZilla 3.0.8.1, Windows XP Pro SP2.

When using a FTP proxy with USER@HOST configuration that only supports passive transfers, uploads fail with socket and timeout errors. It appears that the external IP address of the proxy server is being used in the port command, as opposed to the IP address of the local client. In these log examples, 129.188.33.199 is the public IP of the FTP proxy server, and 10.2.195.119 is the local IP of the client. This previously worked with 2.2.32 (log provided following the 3.0.8.1 log). I think I have both versions configured in an equivalent way.

A warning message should appear in case the setting of the default remote directory is not accepted. If this message is not shown the user will always think that this is a nasty bug of Filezilla.

One can reproduce this by creating a new site in the site manager, select VxWorks as servertype and enter a default remote directory /sdlog/. The directory is *silently* dropped.

The window showing the file list has the file size cut off mod 4GB. This is because UpdateFile in src/engine/directorycache.[h,cpp] uses an int for the file size. Should use wxLongLong or wxFileOffset.

There is a logic problem in CControlSocket::ParsePwdReply when the server does not quote the directory path. The new strategy is to search for a space following the presumed start of the file name. But the position of the second space is calculated relative to the start of the first, yet used as if it were absolute in the original string.

Instead of saying:

reply = reply.Mid(pos1 + 1, pos2 - pos1 - 1);

It should be:

reply = reply.Mid(pos1 + 1, pos2);

When I try to upload a file, the transfer fails no matter what. I don't know why. Maybe it's a error in the code.

I am no longer able to transfer files that contain Japanese characters. It works fine in version 2.2.13a. Attached is a log that shows the output of both versions.

In the FileZilla Windows client version 3.0.8.1, file "Last Modified" dates on uploaded files to FTP server are not showing proper time/date stamp. Time/date stamps on the same files displayed on the FTP server with version 3.0.4.1 or earlier versions of the client seem to display the proper time/date stamps.

In the "Local site" pane, try the following:

• Navigate to C:\
• Set focus to the filelist
• Type the name of a directory (directory gets selected)
• Press Enter (it opens the directory)
• Now try to type the name a subdirectory

Expected behaviour: Should work select directory as typed.

Actual behaviour: Doesn't work.

Additional information: Works after a delay. Presumably pressing ENTER doesn't reset the keystroke buffer. It should.

If you try to select the Documents directory or any other directory belonging to the current user, Vista returns this error message: Can not enumerate file in directory '<dir name>' (error 5: denied access)

I have just installed FileZilla Client v3.0.9 and it crashes when I connect to any ftp server. The standard "... has encountered a problem and needs to close" Windows dialog appears.

I tried to open the Settings dialog, to enable "Trace messages..." and "Show raw...", but I get the same crash.

My operating system is Windows XP Professional with all the updates. I'm using the latest FileZilla Client, and it was installed over the v3.0.8.1 version, as I did everytime a new stable version was released.

Right-Click on a directory, choose "Delete" from menu. Directory gets deleted, but it does stay in the directory list. Trying to access it gives Message Box "'directory' does not exist or cannot be accessed."

The Refresh button (or F5) doesn't refresh the directory list either. It stays in the list until FileZilla is restarted.

When editing a file, if you save the file, switch back to filezilla, the client will then re-upload the file.

However, if it is unsuccessful, it puts it in the "failed" queue but appears to delete the file, because you cannot then re-upload the file.

To recreate:

1. Right-click and edit a file
2. Make some changes, save the file
3. Switch back to filezilla
4. Disconnect your net connection
5. Click Yes to upload the file
6. Wait for it to be put in "failed" queue
7. Re-connect your net connection
8. Try and re-queue the file, it will fail

I've been using Filezilla for awhile. On earlier versions, I was able to open folders on my website no matter the size. However, I updated to version 3.0.8.1, and now I can't open large folders. It'll just try forever and then finally timeout and disconnect. I just updated to 3.0.9.1 today, but it still does the same thing. This has happened before when I updated from version 2 a while back. I'm pretty suspicious and cautious about updating filezilla, and I should have been more this time. I haven't been able to update my website since I updated this time again. Please help.

The bug is very specific. It happens when I connect to my home FTP server (also FileZilla) using FTPS and then close FileZilla.

Here are some additional notes:

1. It generates the error regardless of whether I exit using File - Exit or the "X" close button.
2. It doesn't matter if I transfer files while connected.
3. I've connected to other FTP servers (one with conventional FTP and the other with FTPS) and none experience the problem.
4. FileZilla Server Version: 0.9.25 beta
5. The last version of FileZilla Client (I think it was 3.0.8.1) did not have this problem.

When using the network wizard test in filezilla version 3 (windows xp) i recieve this message:

The sever sent an unrecognised reply. make sure you are running the latest version (which i am) and if the problem presists submit a bug report.

I get this message when closing filezilla:

Unhandled exception at 0x7c910f29 in filezilla.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x00000000.

When target file exists, "Overwrite if source newer" is an excellent option, but its usefulness is degraded by time differences between server & client machines. Consider I'm on in EST and FTP Server is on PST, and I upload a file to Server at 5:00. Server accepts file and timestamps it as 2:00 (its local time). Now if I upload file again, FileZilla Client sees file as newer, always uploading the file even if there were no changes. Worse is if I'm PST and server is EST. I upload file at 2:00, server timestamps it as 5:00. Then if I soon change the file and re-upload my files (2:02) with this option, Client will not see this file as newer so it's not uploaded.

Client should account for local time differences between client and server machines, and it can do so automagically as follows. The first time during a session that this option is used, Client can upload a dummy file to the server, collect its timestamp from the server (getting the server's local time), then delete the file. It saves a "time skew" for the session, which is local time minus server time. Then when comparing dates for the "if newer" option, it adds the time skew to the dates for file on the server, to get the files' timestamps in local time.

In fact, you may even do this at the beginning of any session so that the Remove site files' Last modified dates are shown in local time.

Sorry, couldn't find any logfiles even with logging enabled in preferences.

To reproduce:

• Make sure you have multiple upload threads (I used 5)
• Drag and drop a directory filled with more than 5 files to a remote host (mine is SFTP)
• mkdir will be run on each thread and fail except for the first time (because the directory already exists)

This does not affect the end result (files still get uploaded) but it is a small inefficiency.

When a file cannot be deleted, the messagelog panel displays the error result, but not the usual red error message.

The 1st line is in blue, the 2nd line is in green, but a 3rd was expected here telling that the command has failed.

In the preferences, I set nb retries to 99 and delay before reconnection to 100s. However, when my Wifi connection disconnects, the 99 retries are executed in less than 1 second, and all the queue is moved into the failed transfers.

Filezilla crashes when a file is dragged and dropped from the local site to the remote site. When the file is double clicked in the local site it is transfered without error. I am running version 3.0.9.1 on Mac OS X 10.5.2 (Darwin rc0902b-dhcp179.apple.com 9.2.2 Darwin Kernel Version 9.2.2: Tue Mar 4 21:17:34 PST 2008; root:xnu-1228.4.31~1/RELEASE_I386 i386). Maybe it crashes because I am using the i686 version on an i386, but the i686 version is the only one I could find for OS X.

On Windows Vista, when an update is detected, it opens the "Save As" dialog with the user's "Documents" folder as the preselected default download location. It should use the user's "Downloads" folder.

I am using filezilla 3.0.9.2 version on Mac OS 10.5.

I am having a file listing cache problem. If I use the client to explore a directory d1, If I update the directory d1 on the server, the client side listing does not reflect the changes. Even if I disconnect and reconnect. If I quit FileZilla and starts it again then it is ok.

Filezilla 3 recursive directory download does not get any files, it just creates the directories, if the directory path contains any non-ASCII characters and the server fs uses ISO-8859-1 encoding. The error message is 'critical failure'.

The flow:

1. Recursive upload works...
2. ...but the directory names get mangled on server side
3. Recursive download fails

Tested with Filezilla client 3.0.9.2 running on 32bit Win XP SP2 patched to level of 23-Apr-2008. On the server side, Red Hat 8.2 and vsftpd-1.1.3-8. Ext3 fs with default options.

The recursive download works with version 2 of Filezilla client.

When I start filezilla (3.0.9.1), I click on the file menu. Just after I click, the new version popup appear. fileZilla hanged. Can't click or close the file menu, and same thing for the new version popup.

Filezilla-Client: 3.0.9.2: PASV-Mode On long-term single-file Data-Connections for up/download, the Command-Connection may time-out. Thats OK. The Bug is: This brings down the actual PUT of a really huge file. But in the case of a running upload/download there is no need for a open command-connection, FileZilla should detect the time-out and show it on screen, but dont bring down actual up/downloads!

On z/OS system (FTP server: FTPD1 IBM FTP CS V1R7) when trying to list members (files in PC systems) in a library (directory in PC systems), FileZilla3 executes a command:

CWD 'PREFIX.ISPF.ISPPROF.' (unnecessary period at the end of string)

instead of: CWD 'PREFIX.ISPF.ISPPROF'

When I set a limit to 9999999999 I get an error message that I should use a value > 0.

Sometimes, users cant see movies they upload in the display list whatever FTP Servers. In fact, only AVI files aren't displayed. Take an avi file, upload it, it will be in FTP but you won't see it with FileZilla. You need to use another FTP Client. More precisly, it's the file extension .AVI which isn't listed (MIME type isn't checked). Upload any files, rename it with the extension .avi, refresh, oh it disappeared !

the attached file contains a "refresh" log with debug lvl 4. AVI files are on the server but filezilla doesn't display them.

Version 3.0.9.2 Windows XP SP2

Connected to a buddies FTP server to download a couple of .rar files. One file was 85MB and the other was 76MB. Everything looked fine until the file reached the expected size. At that point, the time remaining stayed at 0 and the file continued to download. It kept downloading and around the point where it was approximately 150MB, I copied the file to another folder to attempt to open it. I opened it, and the contents looked fine. It continued to download until it was 156MB and then produced the following error: The data is invalid. Error: Critical error

Same exact thing with the second file (except that one went until 145MB).

I extracted the file one more time after the download completed and again, the contents seemed fine, just the file itself was about twice as big as it was supposed to be.

I am having trouble downloading certain files from my webhost. I think this has something to do with the filename itself. The filename has 1 space, a colon (:), and underscores.

example file name: "2008-05-01 13:52:14NO_GAME_FOUND.txt"

Firefox loads it up fine (that's where the above url came from), so I guess Filezilla doesn't see filenames with accents.

I use Filezilla 3.0.9.2, Windows XP SP2, 1Gb RAM, to connect and download a full website, with user-generated content. This website has about 15,000 directories, with more than 20,000 files. About 7Gb everything.

When Filezilla gets 4,000-5,000 files it starts to slow down overall performance, and also CPU usage is going up to a continuous 50%.

It does not crash. It only makes the computer and the download very slow.

The GUI shows the active mode been set with the correct external IP address but still teh server replies with the internal ip address (LAN IP) of the client and says cannot establish connection. On checking through a Packet Sniffer it can be seen that filezilla is actually sending the LAN IP altough in the console/log/gui it shows its sending the external IP.

Issue with 3.0.9.2 and also with 3.0.9.3 - nightly build

If put a file in server, the CPU load is low, but when get, the CPU load is over 66% of one core.

In Site Manager, Parent folder icons do not refresh to 'empty' after deleting all child folders, unless the site manager is closed and re-opened.

FileZilla used to display fine when I connected to this server. I haven't connected in several months, and now the display tree for the server isn't displaying correctly. FileZilla no longer seems to treat a back slash as a directory separator for display purposes. Actual functionality still seems to work correctly, so it is only a display issue. See the attached screenshot, as it shows the situation much better than words can describe. FYI, I am using FileZilla Client 3.0.9.3

installed new ver on a mac.

i originally downloaded the ppc ver, cause i own both, on the mac mini intel, it crashed a lot. so i downloaded the intel ver. turns out was a different problem, more details below. but switching may have caused issue 1.

(1) main problem that is going to force me to find a different client to use. can not save settings anymore.

it comes up with the settings that i had put in it before, but i try to save them is says cant find the file. at one point i had moved the program also. was going to run it from a usb drive/device.

is unclear to me witch part started the issue, due to can not get it working again to test.

i am able to save sites, in the site manager. is the preferances that wont save.

(2) crashing, appears is a permissions issue confected to an EX machine where the files are local network.

drag and drop to ftp window crashes most times. when drag to a sub dir on the server. if i open the dir and click it, it works.

and crashes every time if their is a file usage permissions issue. seems to only happen when i use winzip to zip the files.

If you type a textual address into the host box in either the quick connect or the manager, the program fails with the message:

Could not parse server address: Invalid port given. The port has to be a value from 1 to 65535

This same message occurs regardless of what port number is used.

There is no reason, that i am aware of, why the textual host value should not work (it works in all browsers and other ftp clients). If text is not supported, it should mention that and ignore the port number, (which was correct) until a numerical value for the host is entered.

The Progress bar shows an incorrect status while downloading Files. The Downloaded Data Counter also excedes the File Size in the process. Please See the attached screenshot!

I ran across an FTP server that responds in a way that FileZilla doesn't expect when MKDIR finds a directory that already exists. The response is:

517 <path>: File exists.

I transfered approximately 1000 files of which 24 failed. I have enabled debug output and requeued one file. see attachment for output.

Filezilla complains "file not found". I checked: the file certainly does exist. it contains special chars like (,),-

i was deleting several thousand log files in one dir.

the cpu usage on my machine was so high i had a hard time shutting it down so i could remote in to do it.

every time it deleted a file, it would refresh server files listing. with on occasion would show the change, it could not keep up, and takes a long time to delete them all.

and for me, i dont care. refresh when it is done.

It seem that the command PWD is use for directory listing instead of DIR...?

When dragging files with long file names (or folders containing them) in 3.0.10 from a ProFTPD host to a Vista client, they are added to the cue, but not copied. (No error note is shown.) It's a problem solely in FileZilla, Vista itself can handle those file names without problems. So the workaround is, if one knows about this bug: rename the files to shorter file names, copy them, rename them back. Outside of FileZilla, because it cannot even rename them back on the Vista client.

In the Local and Remote site file lists, there are support for "Find as you type", as in e.g. Windows XP. While this works fine for a-z, it doesn't work for underscores (_).

Reproducible: always

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open a folder in the Local site pane that contains at least one file with a name that begins with an underscore (_) and at least another file that doesn't begin with an underscore.

2. Select any file except the one that begins with an underscore.

3. Type _ on your keyboard.

Actual results: Windows XP's "Default Beep" sounds, nothing else.

Expected results: the file that is named "_*" is selected.

On Mac OSX 10.5.2 with version 3.0.10 of FileZilla when I connect to any FTP site and then click on a file in the Local site window and drag it to the Remote site window, before my mouse gets to the remote site window FileZilla freezes and a second later it crashes and I get the standard OSX crash dialog box. This happens every time.

Interestingly, the reverse operation does not cause a crash. If I drag a file from the remote site window to the local site window Filezilla does not crash and the file is downloaded as expected.

I had the same issue in 3.0.9.x on OSX

I love filezilla and have been a fan for years! I use it all the time on Windows XP and it never crashes there, but on OSX it does crash all the time.

really small annoyance. This behaviour is present since version 3.0 beta until 3.0.10. At the end of the installation the installer asks me where it should put the shortcuts. And each time the desktop shortcut is unselected and I have to enable it manually. Can't you make it so, that the installer remembers that I had the desktop icon enabled with the old version of Filezilla?

Filezilla v. 3.0.10 OS: Windows XP SP3 (Russian)

Filezilla can see files with Cyrillic names on server, it can list Cyrillic direcdories but cannot copy files to local PC. It gives error "no such file or directory".

The log window is attached.

In the previous build of Filezilla Client, it remembered what the local site last preference was (ie: sort by Modified) It does not do it now but it still remembers the last preference of the Remote Site.

When I upload either a single large file or a large number of smaller files, the program a minute or two into the upload indicates that the server disconnected. The upload continues to completion even though the upper status window is saying that the server isn't connected.

Note: there is a moinor difference between uploading a single large file and a large number of smaller files:

With a single large file, The upper status window and the right-side server windows both indicate that the server has disconnected.

With a large number of smaller files, only the right-side server windows indicate that the server has disconnected. The upper status window continues to converse with the server as the files are transferred and the bottom windows continue to indicate the decrease in the number of queued files and the increase in the number of files transferred.

This is very disconcerting especially for a new user of the program. When the program is telling you that you have been disconnected a lot of users may try to reconnect (I didn't try that because I could see that the file transfer(s)appeared to be continuing. I chose a wait and see attitude about it and it appears that even though the program was saying it had disconnected, it completed the file transfer(s).

At the conclusion of the file transfer, I was able to reconnect without any issues.

Version 3.0.10 running on XP Pro The local file list won't keep sort order; it always reverts to sort by name ascending. The remote pane does retain this setting. I even tried manually editing <Setting name="Local filelist sortorder" type="string">0 0</Setting> in filezilla.xml; it always reverts to "0 0" on program exit.

Installation under windows 2000 using the installer.

Using v2.2.16 with some sites configurations registered under the site manager, I was disappointed on upgrade to not find my saved entries with v3.03 and v3.010.

Hopefully v2.2.16 was still there to read the entries and copy and past to v3.

I use a media player that uses an .xml file for the playlist. I tried uploading three instances of the player to some webspace last evening. None of the three would work. I have another instance of the player on the space that I had uploaded probably with a 2.xx version of FileZilla. I finally traced the problem down to the playlist which is an .xml file. When I was reasonably certain that the problem was with the .xml file I got FireFTP and uploaded my playlists with that program. The players all work with playlists uploaded with FireFTP. I have two computers and I tried with both computers. To check I uploaded the files using FileZilla 3.0.10. All the players broke again. Reuploading the files with FireFTP fixed the players again.

My Computers both run Windows XP Home OS. They are Core 2 Duo computers with 2GB of ram. I had version 3.0.5 running when I first encountered the problem. I checked for updates and updated to 3.0.10. I have attached one of the .xml files. I did not download one of the broken ones to compare.

I did it again.

Actually, I was wrong saying that renaming the remote file did freeze the computer. It only crashed Filezilla, but everything got very slow for 2 or 3 minutes. I did set the debug on verbose, but couldn't get any indication, and after the crash of Filezilla, nothing seems to remain.

This time, I did upload a file, then right-clicked to rename : it crashed.

After that, I disconnected / reconnected my computer to the distant server, then only tried to rename the file that was on it (right-click). It crashed Filezilla all the same.

When you first said that the "issue had been fixed", was it about that ? (before "ooops, wrong button" ?)

If yes, do you have an idea about the time I'll have to wait for the next version (roughly, one week, one month, more ?).

I get this message when trying to log on to upload.comcast.net. Switching back to 2.2.3, I can log on just fine. Log file attached.

This is quite annoying.

When transferring two files at the same time there are two progress bar indicating the percentages, when resizing the window/transfer panel the one below disappears and does not show anymore. This happens with 3.0.10 client under win32

If I drag&drop an image from a website to Filezilla to be uploaded to the ftp-server the image sometimes uploads correctly, but about 50% of the times the file ends up being empty. Size 0 bytes. It is empty also, when looking or opening it from the server's filesystem.

This happened on two computers (which are nearly identical)

FTP client: Filezilla 3.0.10 FTP server: FileZilla Server version 0.9.24 beta (but seems to happen with other servers also) OS: Windows XP Professional, SP2 Firefox 2.0.0.14,

The 'Local site' pane shows 'My Documents' but there is no '+' to expand it. If I double click, nothing happens. I need to use the drive letter ('D:' in my case) to access the local files.

Running version 3.0.1 on Win XP Pro SP3. When I try to sort by date for the remote site I am connected to it does not sort properly either ascending or descending. All the dates and times are mixed up. This occurs on multiple sites.

We use a Sambar FTP server. And I can't use Filezilla like I do whit my Linux server. The problem is the list of directory ans files. All other ftp client work fine ans explorer too when I connect to my Sambar server that run on a NT server.

Sorting on "last modified" ascending or descending produces totally incorrect results.

Cannot download file name ( or folder name ) with chinese character from remote server. It puts all of them into "failure transfer".

Is it support english file name only ?
