I tried to transfer files from STRATUS systems under VOS release and I get a "550 LIST: ftp internal error s$expand_path:" error.

-Source : PC Windows XP SP2

-Target : STRATUS Continuum systems VOS release 13.3.4h

For your information, under STRATUS systems the ">" character is the same as "/" under UNIS/LINUX systems. Could you please have a look to work with this kind of fault tolerant systems?

FileZilla.app bounces once in Dock then disappears.

Console shows a number of errors in the form: "FileZilla.app/Contents/MacOS/filezilla undefined reference to (xyz) expected to be defined in Carbon"

the option to "always trust certificate in future sessions" is grey'd out meaning one has to ok it everytime he logs.

Both 3.05.2 and 3.06 fail to download and upload many file with Traditional Chinese characters (Big5 code). same file can upload and/or download without problem after rename. Rename back to orginial Chinese name through the client have no problem. Download of same file with orginial Chinese name through DOS mode FTP have no problem.

Debug log is attached.

for no apparent reason the client believes I am logged in more than once, when I checked manually and no other clients are logged in.

My downloads do not start in the latest versions of FileZilla when I select files in folders which contain special characters in their path name (i.e. ä - a with dots on top etc.).

This worked in previous releases.

1. Opened filezilla and prompted me to download and install versoin 3.0.6 which I did
2. Without restarting I opened the client and connected to a server
3. Chose a bunch of files and clicked upload
4. After transferring 246 files out of over 2039 it stopped.
5. Enabled debug mode and showed the following information:

I created a profile for this server with type "VxWorks". the remote directory listing does not appear - no matter if I set a remote startupdir (Standard-Verzeichnis auf Server)

hint: the connection with a simple ftp client works fine. I can do a CD / or CD /RFA/ /RFA/ is the chrooted root directory! there is no way of changing to /RFA (!)

Filezilla 3.0.5.2 is disconnecting even with keep alive enabled. FZ 3.0.7 is not exhibiting this problem. I have had to revert to 3.0.7.

FZ is not doing refreshes on the file listing listboxes, and is hence reporting incorrect file sizes.

F5 corrects this like expected but on transfers file details are not being updated.

3.0.7 windows locked up with filezilla running for reasons unkown, media file/codec error of some sort. Had to hit the restart button with filezilla running. After that it would complain "could not load filezilla.xml or Que.xml, will run with standard setting now. So i tried reinstalling filezilla, it continued to do this. I had to go to documents and settings/application data and delete the filezilla folder manually. It might be better to just delete the folder with all settings during uninstall due to some type of problem it had.

I just updated to version 3.0.7 from the most recent prevoious release and noticed a minor bug. After renaming a remote file, the remote site directory listing does not refresh. The impression is that the file rename failed - but that is not the case. Pressing F5 to manually refresh the directory shows that the rename did in fact, succeed.

Previous version did not have this bug. After renaming a file, the remote directory listing would automatically refresh to show the new file name.

To recreate this issues use the following steps:

Drag a folder from the "local site" to the "remote site".

The bug is that there is data loss in that the directory tree is destroyed. A directory tree is data, and this is being lost.

I am unable to name ANY other application that destroys data like this. I am computer programmer and I blame Fillezilla for destroying few hundred dollars worth of work.

filezilla drag and drop does not work with teracopy installed (​http://www.codesector.com/teracopy.php)when moving files from filezilla.

When I try to connect to a server via sftp using an account withthe £ symbol in the password filezilla reports a connection error - I expect this is due to the encoding of the £ symbol in the password string passed to the server - I am a php developer and have seen many problems with the £ symbol under utf-8 encoding - so maybe this is the issue?

When using putty to connect to the server with exactly the same credentials I can login without a problem, so I'm quite sure it's a problem with filezilla's inbuilt ssh client.

I'd love to use filezilla for all my ftp related work but with this issue it makes it impossible :(

After close the Filezilla client the client forget the download list and the failed transfer list as well.

It should be viewable after execute Filezilla again.

Filezilla is calculating permissions as 745. Accounting for setgid, total value should be 2755. I understand first octet not necessarily needed, but "4" instead of "5" is causing confusion.

Using FileZillaPortable 3.0.8.1 downloaded 03/19/08 from PortableApps.com on a Toshiba Satellite P205D-S7438 running Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit OS. Firewall is part of Windows Live One Care. Internet connection is Qwest DSL through an ethernet hub and ActionTec DSL modem/gateway.

In the Edit/settings dialog connection section is a configuration wizard. I ran it multiple times with the same failure each time. I chose passive transfer mode with allow fallback selected. I next selected to use the servers external IP address. On the next page I first chose to ask the operating system for the external IP address, then during test faze I got the following log: Connecting to probe.filezilla-project.org Response: 220 FZ router and firewall tester ready USER FileZilla Response: 331 Give any password. PASS 3.0.8.1 Response: 230 logged on. Checking for correct external IP address IP 192.168.0.5 bjc-bgi-a-f Response: 510 Mismatch. I then restarted the wizard and chose to use the reported IP address of 63.224.228.18 and selected "ask operating system for a port". The final wizard page advised me that the server sent an unrecognized reply and asked me to check for latest version (using 3.0.8.1)and submit a bug report. This is it ;)

Is this a problem with my firewall not allowing the port connection? I also tried selecting to use port range 6000 - 7000 (default sugestion), and configured the firewall to allow incoming tcp/udp protocols in that port range for FileZilla. This returned the following end message: LIST Response: 150 opening data connection Connection closed

In every case there was a long pause after the "Response: 150 opening data connection" line, then failure!

The above log copies came directly from the wizard as the FileZilla client was not actively doing anything to create a message list. (I set degugging to verbose level but did not see any output)

I have loved FileZilla in the past and would really like to use it more if we can get it communicating.

Could this be a bug caused by the PortableApps modification maybe? Unlikely I'd guess, but you guys are the experts not me :)

During the file transfer a part of a file gets currupted which results in having a server plugin broken.

In the attached documents (orignal and changed file) the lines (original) 1950-2023 will be removed. In addition, line 1949 (01521;;Teleport) will replaced with (01521;;TelePORT 82,83,17,203,128,62 to). Altough some parts were deleted the file sizes are both the same.

I get error dialogues when trying to run Access files from Filezilla. After the several popups, the database properly opens. The errors I get from rightclicking an mdb file and selecting Open are:

i am using the latest FileZila Version 3.8.1. This Version still has problems deleting subfolders those parent folders names contains german umlauts.

For example create the following folders:

It is not possible to delete both folders at once (recursive). The folders still exist after deleting.

I try with menu option checked or not. Same thing, all the time the file I uploaded on server take the time of the transfer and doesn't keep origin time.

Hi, i was using Filezilla to download a site from a ftp server. the site had about 3200 files. when i downloaded the site it only contained about 2300 files i.e. about 900 files were missing. that is about 30% of the total files. please fix this bug otherwise it will be impossible for me to continue using Filezilla because of its extreme unreliability

The installer requires acceptance of the GPL. This is incorrect, since end users do not have to accept the GPL. The GPL is not an 'end user license'. It even says so in the GPL itself:

" 5. You are not required to accept this License, since you have not signed it. However, nothing else grants you permission to modify or distribute the Program or its derivative works"

If the user 'does not accept the GPL' of an application, then that just means they can't distribute it. It does not prevent them from using the application.

To fix this, the EULA agree/box should be removed from the installer.

In the "Local site" pane, try the following:

• Navigate to C:\
• Set focus to the filelist
• Type the name of a directory (directory gets selected)
• Press Enter (it opens the directory)
• Now try to type the name a subdirectory

Expected behaviour: Should work select directory as typed.

Actual behaviour: Doesn't work.

Additional information: Works after a delay. Presumably pressing ENTER doesn't reset the keystroke buffer. It should.

When installing V3 Portable, it mentions that an "OLD" directory is where I'd find my V2 settings in "FileZillaPortable\Data\settings\old\FileZilla2.xml". This did not exist and apears to have been completly overwritten. Should V3 recognized an existing install?

I connected an FTPS server(port 990), and then closed filezilla. After filezilla UI hided, an dialog shown: "An unhandled win32 exception occurred in filezilla.exe [3480]." with title "Visual Studio Just-In-Time Debugger".

My OS is Windows XP with SP2. I installed Visual Studio 2005.

with FTP, all is OK. with FTPS, the exception is occurred.

Maybe it's not a bug, and you design FileZilla like that for performance.

Firstly, I went into a folder "/testfolder", there was only 1 file "a.txt". Then I go back into the root folder "/". After some minutes, someone uploaded a file "b.txt" into the folder "/testfolder", and now there were 2 files(a.txt and b.txt) in "/testfolder".

Secondly, I downloaded the folder "/testfolder" by dragging it to my local disk. FileZilla downloaded "a.txt" only. Because FileZilla didn't execute "LIST" before download, it didn't known "b.txt" existed now.

There is a subtle bug in CControlSocket::ParsePwdReply():

The variables “pos1” and “pos2” are overridden within the inner “if” block so, after it completes its execution, the assigned values get lost and the original variables remain unchanged.

The fix is straightforward: simply remove the “int” keyword in the assignment of “pos1” and “pos2” within the “if” block.

When I drag a file from the local site window to a Windows explorer window, the copy starts as expected. However, until the copy is finished, it is not possible to return to Filezilla because when I click to the Filezilla window bar, a cross (+) appears telling the drag will start on this part. This is also true on any part of the Filezilla interface.

Filezilla stops sending keep-alive commands after 30 minutes.

During the upload-proces the name of two images were switched. Image1 was renamed to Image2 and the otherway around.

On z/OS system (FTP server: FTPD1 IBM FTP CS V1R7) when trying to list members (files in PC systems) in a library (directory in PC systems), FileZilla3 executes a command:

CWD 'PREFIX.ISPF.ISPPROF.' (unnecessary period at the end of string)

instead of: CWD 'PREFIX.ISPF.ISPPROF'

In FileZilla2 there was no such problem.

A useful feature in FileZilla (version 3.0.9.2) is the option to change the language.

1. From the menu bar select: Edit > Settings…
2. Select the desired language from the list in the Language page.

However, when Hungarian is selected from English (or vis versa), only the Menu Bar changes, not the Message log, Local directory tree, Remote directory tree and Transfer queue. These are only changed upon closing and reopening of the program.

It would be appreciated if the program would refresh all windows and frames with the selected language, without needing to exit and reopen the program.

There is a ftp proxy between filezilla and ftp server. The ftp proxy caches data and do virus scanning before transmit it. Use filezilla to upload a big file, filezilla failed:

The ftp proxy sending "226-transferring data..." to ftp client while doing virus scanning to avoid ftp timeout.

Without these resonse, cuteftp and leadftp will timeout, and can work well with these response. But filezilla failed. Disable filezilla timeout, filezilla failed, too. It seems filezilla can't recognize these response correctly.

Every time I open FileZilla (Version 3.0.9.3) there's a message that it wasn't possible to save the settings made during the last session. By opening the program every time there's the welcome-message again. The host-information like adress and password is still there but settings like design, the last opened server-side folders aso are missing. I uninstalled FZ, rebooted and installed it again but the problem remains. It wasn't there in the previous version of FZ (3.0.9.2).

I use Windows XP MCE. The FileZilla version installed is 3.0.9.3 (I attached the about-box below).

Just upgraded to the latest version, result is that I can no longer log on to the ftp site where my son stores his photos (​ftp://lachmann.storagesolutions.com/)

Downgraded to 3.0.9.2 and it works again, tried another upgrade to 3.0.9.3 and that again fails miserably.

System XP Pro, SP2, AMD Athlon 64 3700+, 1 GB.

My HDD receiver allows only one ftp connection. Even if I set it to 1 simultaneous connection in FileZilla Setup it did not work.

FileZilla shows alwas the current directory content. Maybe this is also one connection ...

(it works with other FTP clients ... So I guess it is a problem with FileZilla)

The download with big files (e.g. > 2GB) runns very vell. But the upload makes problems if the file is greater than 2GB. It is not exact the 2GB border, it some MB's above ... However, the suddenly the upload stopps with these files ...

I can do the same thing with other FTP clients -> so I'll guess, it is a problem with FileZilla

The Site Manager drop down menu in the main window doesn't function in the same way as the other menus and Windows XP in general.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. While in FileZilla 3.0.10, click on the Site Manager dropdown menu arrow in the main window without releasing the mouse button,

2. Move the pointer to any site in the list and release the mouse button.

Actual results: Nothing

Expected results: FileZilla closes the menu and connects to the selected site.

Having upgraded to the latest version, I was horrified to find that it completely screwed up all my carefully crafted icon positions on my desktop.

Fortunately I am aware that microsoft cannot be trusted to keep the icons in the same place so I had a program remember where the icons were and could replace them to the original positions.

Others might not be so lucky and having forced this change on their icon positions will produce a very bad first impression.

Please fix this asthetic bug or else I will not be upgrading again for fear of this happening again.

While uploading a large number of files the Remote Site: says <Not connected to any server> when in fact it is connected.

if i add a directory to queue "/www/", while its recursing the contents "theres 65 directories", it randomly disconnects and does not finish queuing the files, i have to manually restart it from where it left off at.

Proftpd has the capability to use CCC. This allow user/password + data channel to be encrypted via tls. After authentication client must send prot c to leave the encrypted channel. Filezilla can't do this.

The use of CCC tls mode allow the netfilter ftp_conntrack module to read and open the passive port

I am using FileZilla since the 2.x series, and it consistently does not handle symbolic links to files correctly.

If, for example, one tries to download

kubuntu-8.04-desktop-i386.iso

from

FileZilla displays the error message:

Failed to retrieve directory listing

and cannot download the file (which is actually a symbolic link to the file

​ftp://ftp.mirrorservice.org/sites/releases.ubuntu.com/kubuntu/.pool/kubuntu-8.04-desktop-i386.iso).

It also seems very strange to me that it seems to have never occurred to any user as a bug (I did a search for "symbolic" before posting this, but nothing turned up); either I must be missing something important, or my search was not for the right word...

When I'm using filezilla I constantly get notifications from Norton Anti-virus about a trojan horse in filezilla

When I open Filezilla and the automatic updater downloads the new version and then tries to execute it I get this error: Execution of command 'C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\My Downloads\FileZilla_3.0.11_win32-setup.exe' failed (error 193: unknown error c1)

This has been happening on since about four versions ago...sorry I've just been lazy in submitting it. This is on a PowerEdge 2900 Server with Windows Server 2003 x32 R2 SP2, 10GB RAM, Dual Quad Core Xeon's @ 2.00GHZ.

If you need anymore information let me know. The only thing I can thing of is whatever process executes the exe doesn't have permission to do so. I'll have to check on my XP machine to see if this does the same thing. I'll update this and let you know.

Fz 3.0.11.1 does not map my network drives; XP Prof. SP2

We have a virus scanning proxy here. Upon download, it will fetch the file, scan it and then transfer it to FTP client.

While the file is fetched, the FTP client doesn't see anything. This triggers a timeout. FileZilla has a maximum timeout of 999 seconds. For files of several hundred megabytes or slow FTP servers, this timeout is too low.

A workaround is to set the timeout not via the settings GUI dialog, but change it directly in the filezilla.xml config file.

Please remove the artificial limit of 999 seconds when conguring the timeout via GUI allow to disable timeout completely. I understand that under normal circumstances having timeouts is good and 999 is unresonalby high. But we have special circumstances here. Thank you.

Exporting of settings save dialog does not report a save failure under Vista. Filezilla indicates the save succeeded when it did not. This is NOT a problem with XP or Win 2000.

The problem occurs when saving into a folder such as Program Files that requires administrator priveleges for writing a file. The Vista privelege escalation dialog goes smoothly and correctly, but the user's authorization to proceed is mishandled by Filezilla and no indication is given that the save failed.

The attached screen dump shows that filezilla3a.xml existed when it didn't. It continued to not exist even after the apparently flawless save "completed".

NOTE: Exporting the settings to the Documents folder of course works, and dragging the resultant file from Documents to the access restricted Filezilla Client directory works.

I'm using Filezilla 3 on Mac OS X.

Filezilla refused to work for a long time - reporting 'fzsftp failed to start'.

(I checked that fzsftp was in the package and even set the environment variable that solved the problem for some users.)

Eventually I discovered that this was because I was running it from a path with spaces in it. (A drive called 'Second Drive'.)

Moving it to a path without spaces in it solved the problem.

I am using Filezilla 3.1.0. Whenever I either upload files from my PC to my FTP server or download files from my FTP server to my PC, the remote site info "Filename, Filesize, Filetype, etc will disappear and the message <Not connected to any server> appears where the files should be. This message happens when I get about 1/2 of the files transferred. I am transferring about 900+ files at a time. The files transfer OK even though I get the message because I am still connected to the remote FTP server.

I have multiple clients using Filezilla to connect to our FTP site--my company recommends the program to them. We have had a few clients experience problems when setting up a site manager profile for our site, which needs to be accessed on port number 990. The port number does not seem to save when they exit the site manager, even though all the other settings are saved. Are they doing something wrong, or is this a bug?

There's something wrong with "file changed" detection. When you right click a file (local or remote side), edit and close, it lost the modification or keep showing the "upload this file back to the server" in loop, everytime the window get focus. Sometime it ignores the changes, and sometimes saves the local file wrong or "reload" the lastest version of the file, what is a very dangerous risk.

REQUEST: please consider an option to disable this feature completly (local/remote sync). I really don't like it, it's annoying. Disabled, let the user control if he wants or not sync with the server. Sometimes the user only wants the local file, or remote file, for some reason, without resync.

After update to filezilla 3.1.0.1 on Windows XP SP3, the software says impossible to read filezilla.xml and the default configurations will be used. It happens every time I run.

Im running Leopard and I upgraded my Filezilla Client with the last 3.1.0.1. After the upgrade the Filezilla Client crashes without reason. I'm uploading a file and crashes. I am browsing in remote directories and crashes.

I have updated filezilla ftp client to 3.1.0.1. I am using Windows Xp professional with SP3.

Until I updated the ftp client I had no trouble connecting to the two different host servers that I use. Since updating I am unable to connect to either server.

Steps to duplicate.

1. Upload directory of files
2. Edit local file

Filezilla will know the file has been changed and offer to reupload the file. File is uploaded into a directory underneath of the directory uploaded.

View/edit remote file, editing, uploads correctly.

Using 3.1.1.1 and the previous version, when clicking the drives in the Local Site pane nothing appears in the files pane below except for the parent folder (..) link.

When clicking the drive for the first time the + sign disappears and stays gone for the session.

This worked OK on my system previously. Win XP Home, SP3

After a recent update of my packages in Arch Linux I got this error when trying to launch filezilla: "filezilla: error while loading shared libraries: libgnutls.so.13: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

From what I read in the comments of the package in AUR it's because of an update of gnutls

On the SourceForge's download page for projects there is an option to monitor new releases in packages. When a new release is available then all users who monitor that package get an email informing them about the new release.

This functionality doesn't work for the FileZilla Client package. The last email I've received is for v3.0.10.

I am sure that the emails didn't end up being marked as spam and then deleted, I know how to handle emails.

Sometimes when I drag-drop a file to the FTP client to FTP it up, it tells me that there is an existing file there, which is fine, that's what it's supposed to do, so I overwrite it. But then it asks me sometimes once sometimes 2 times to overwrite it again, and this time the size and data are the same, so I'm overwriting the file I just overwrote with a second ago. So somehow it doensn't register that the upload was successful or something, and it asks me to overwrite 2 or 3 times, and then stops.

on an ssh/sftp connection - simlinks are detected in the permissions tab as lrwxrwxrwx (which is good) but act as if they are a directory.

I understand that links are harder to deal with - but they are not directories (links link to anything) - so when you double click on them it shouldn't cd to them unless the target is a dir

I maintain several multipage websites and I frequently use FTP to update changed pages only. The most useful folder view for this operation is to show files in date-modified order, newest at the top.

I would like to have FileZilla remember the way I left the folder and present the same view next time.

Alternatively, I'd settle for a preference setting to pick the default folder view.

Auto-refresh of the local file list wouldn't go amiss either.

If you rename a file on the server to another file that already exists in the same directory, then on the server the renamed file overwrites the file that originally had that name (which is fine) but then filezilla shows two files with the same name. For example a directory might contain:

main.php index.php

if you renamed main.php to index.php, index.php will be overwritten by main.php but filezilla shows:

index.php index.php

while it should show:

index.php

This is not a server side issue. Refreshing fixes the problem.

When Remember size and position of FileZilla is enabled under Edit, Settings, Interface Settings, Miscellaneous settings, and Transfer Queue is enabled under Startup settings, the Transfer Queue window does not remember where it was last set. In fact, regardless of where it was last, the transfer Queue window covers two thirds of the screen covering the local and remote directory listing, which are completely covered if local and remote Treeview is enabled. I have duplicated this problem on 3 different computers.

Maximizing the main window, changing column's sizes - these are things I can do without problems, but as soon as the application is closed and then re-launched again, all those set sizes are gone..

If a file transfer aborted and later resumed, there will be a dialog asking what I want to do with the existing file (renaming, replacing, resuming, etc.).

However, if the path and/or filename is too long, the dialog gets very wide and because FZ3 puts the box to a specific position, the right part of the box won't be displayed and you have to move the dialog to the left, so that you can choose from the options.

In FileZilla 2 the ftp user's password was encrypted, for example Pass="010006086069122079112100". In FileZilla 3 (3.0.0-beta11) the sitemanager.xml file in C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\FileZilla contains the ftp user's password in plain text, for example <Pass>mysecretpassword</Pass>.

I think it is obvious why this is so bad. I could not find this logged as a bug anywhere and so have raised this to make sure it is addressed.

using TLS connect to a site using unknown certificate, when click 'Always trust certificate in future sessions', it only work for current instance of FileZilla3. After close FileZilla3, next time, it will ask again.

On Vista Ultimate, when starting and shutting down FileZilla 3.0.0-rc1 following message is displayed:

"Could not load 'C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\FileZilla\queue.xml', please make sure the file is valid and can be accessed. The queue will not be saved."

Uninstalling and installing FileZilla does not solve the problem.

The path and file queue.xml are existing.

After FileZilla installation, queue.xml is 0 bytes - no entries in the file.

Removing queue.xml and restarting FileZilla solves the problem. New queue.xml is created with following content:

It is possible that queue.xml deployed with the FileZilla setup is empty instead of the expected? xml declaration line (see above).

The View/Edit selection is missing from the popup window when a file is right clicked.

Limit number of simultaneous connections (set to 1) nullified any transfer from local to remote. Files and folders would just hang in Queue infinitum, with status "connecting".

Scroll wheel on mouse causes FileZilla to fail and close during session. Probably due to side-to-side motion rather than up and down scrolling.

Using Filezilla 3.0.0.RC2 under feisty.

This release comes with Blukis icon set, in all three sizes.

Selecting in Settings > Interface > Themes: Blukis, changes the Icon Set, but there is no intuitive way to change the interface icon sizes.

Tried selecting "Large icons" in the Preview, the clicking OK, but that did not help.

Missing "icon set size" combo-box perhaps?

For some reason a few of the Blukis icons look visibly jagged in my nowadays common display size (1280 x 1024)

The same icons loaded in SVG format (as posted in Filezilla forums) in Inkscape and then displayed at the same icon size/resolution (32 x 32, 64 x 64) look awesome, so this seems to be easily fixable.

This is specially evident in the icons containing the refresh circle, upload and download arrows, and the little earth.

In Filezilla 2 it was possible to navigate a remote ftp-server with the keyboard. When pressing a key, Filezilla navigated to the first file starting with that letter. This also worked with multiple files with the same first letter, in that case you could cycle between those files.

It seems this functionality is gone in Filezilla 3 rc2.

Test case:

1. Connect to any FTP-server.
2. Open a directory with 2 or more files
3. Press the first letter key of some of the files/subdirectories in the current directie

Expected: Filezilla would navigate to the file with the corresponding first letter

I use the Zune-Desktop Theme from Microsoft on Windows XP, but the Toolbar of FZ3 stays on a different color (see Attachment). Maybe the color of the Toolbar is not linked to the correct windows-elment-color.

I've just enabled file filtering with the following pattern : remove file ending with either ".php~" or ".css~" on local view

Now, with this filter enabled, every time I start uploading a file using drag and drop (the bug doesn't appear using double-clicking), I get a kind of random file selection on the local view (just when I drop the file).

In the queue display the rows with detail information for active downloads (time elapsed, ETA, progress bar, transfered bytes, speed) do not move when scrolling. They keep their absolute position and hide other rows, which seem to "move under" the detail rows.

Surprisingly correct behaviour can be observed when scrolling with the mouse scrollwheel or by using cursor keys when a row is in the queue table is selected. To reproduce the bug press the buttons of the scroll bar or drag its slide.

Using 1024x768 pixels the "settings"-dialog appears at the right side of the screen with some part no longer visible.

It is not possible to view the file-sizes in kilobytes or megabytes any more.

That would be very appreciated to concisely see how large the files are.

There is no way to hide

the server-protcol at the top, the queue at the bottom and the quick-connect-bar

by default.

When changing languge of FileZilla client from estonia to russian half of application still in estonian language.

If the user tries to upload a file to a remote directory that they don't have write access to, a dialog will pop up saying that the file in question already exists and prompting for actions in that case. Also, the file will appear in the directory listing until refreshed.

This can be very confusing if the user doesn't realise they're trying to write to a write protected folder.

Bug observed in FileZilla 3.0.0 under Windows XP.

Each time I open FileZilla, both the local and remote directory panes (at the top in standard view) get larger and larger, up to a point. If I make them smaller by moving the bar upwards, next time I open FZ they have moved down a little.

They seem to stop moving down when they have reaced about halfway (ie directory and file panes are same height).

FileZilla 3 isn't correctly accepting the command-line parameters that FileZilla 2 did.
