Starting macOS 10.12, Apple added 1px between the dock and app. Filezilla is violating that and the window ends where the dock starts, without any space between the window and the dock. I (hopefully) attached screenshots of current state and expected behaviour.

The FileZilla client (3.2.7.1) window is too tall and the titlebar and toolbar get cut off behind the menu bar the first time the program is launched on a MacBook (1280x800) with a reasonably sized dock (roughly 60 pixels tall).

Steps to reproduce:

• Launch FileZilla on a MacBook for the first time.

Or

• Remove ~/.filezilla and launch FileZilla.

Workarounds:

• Select Zoom from the Window menu, then resize the window down from there.

Fix:

• Reduce the default height of the window when a preferences file is not found.

Brand new occurrence Whilst attempting to change file permissions in cgi-bin kerbynet sub directory Windows reports filezilla has stopped working, requiring filezilla to be closed.

I would like FileZilla to support and use the library features built in to Windows 7 instead of having to navigate to deeply buried folders every time I use FileZilla. It just makes things easier when you are very commonly downloading movies/pics/etc but the folders are not as easy to get to.

With Windows 7, many programs are taking advantage of the new taskbar features. It would be nice to have some features incorporated into FileZilla.

Perhaps a list of recently connected sites or sites within the Site Manager.

An example of what I'm talking about can be looked at in the attachment.

I would like to propose to make the tabs of the FileZilla-FTP client individually available for Aero Peek in Windows 7. Additionally the new progress indicator in the taskbar should be used to display the overall upload / download progress to the user. There should be an overall progress at all - actually I can only view the progress of each file-operation.

Up until version 3.41.2 of the client, when using the Windows build and choosing to delete either a single or group of files from a server, the "Question" sound event would be triggered - this can be found within the Windows Control Panel/Sound/Sounds section. Whilst this may seem like a small thing, it is very useful if the Delete option is accidentally chosen. Please could this be re-added?

It would be nice when right-click a file in the local view, be able to choose: "Windows Menu" refering to the Windows shell Menu is showed when you right click a file in windows explorer. Other programas such as Flashfxp has this feature, and it is very useful. thanx

I would like to be able to have a windows explorer context menu entry to send a file to a specific site in the client. This feature can be seen in the commercial product CuteFTP Pro - ​http://www.cuteftp.com/cuteftppro. This feature allows you to right click on any file within windows explorer and you see "upload using CuteFTP" A sub-menu then lets you select a site profile to send the file to.

I would like to see the FileZilla client windows installer in other languages. So i would like for it to be translateable so i can translate it.

When you close FileZilla and re-boot using a monitor with a different resolution, the location and size of the window is quite wrong. The size and position should be saved in a resolution-independent way (rather than raw pixels) so it will look similar when switching monitors/changing resolution. (my laptop has 4K screen, but often use with HD external monitor; restarting with a different config can result it FileZilla almost entirely off the right-hand side of the screen).

I would kinda understand if you don't want to recode the program to use a different library, but since it would also be nice to get the ssh-agent.exe in windows10 and 11 to be supported. Would it be possible to add support in the form of some mutator,(does psftp support openssh key-agent?), script that ingests from ssh-agent and pipes it to psftp, even if it came in an form of opting in via the settings panel.

Microsoft has seemingly been bundling it with windows 10 and above.

FileZilla stores it's settings in a hidden folder called ".filezilla" directly in the user folder.

On OSX there is a special folder called "~/Library/Preferences" for user defined preferences. And the "Application Support" is for all the things that are needed by FileZilla to work.

To make backups, etc. more easy FileZilla should use this places for storing it's data.

When the download of a new version is done, the text says in norwegian "Den seneste versjonen har blitt nedlastet. Klikk Ferdig for å lukke fileZilla og starte installasjonen". The word 'Ferdig' and the button 'Avslutt' are not the same text. I suggest to change the text 'Avslutt' to 'Ferdig' would solve the cosmetic bug.

The "notebook bar looks" like it's from the 90s. Strange gradient in dark mode and it's not readable.

Open Site manager and delete a post. The dialog that appears have Yes and No buttons. But part of the text is cut off.

Tested in Debian with GNOME.

When adding directories (that this requires before the app will start) it errors out on all directories with this error:

Could not create security-scoped bookmark from URL: The file couldn’t be opened.

And prohibits from getting in ..

Nothing i choose can be opened or added and I need to use this to get into my servers...

I would like to make a proposal for automatic uploads of small files to avoid the popup window requesting confirmation.

I have been using this patch since quite some time now and I saw that many people over time keep asking for that. I also know this was already discussed several times.

Anyhoo, this patch includes a safe upload (avoiding file corruption) of the modified files and only applies to files smaller than 1MB. NB: The current patch is quite simple and do not provide any customization of the parameters (e.g. user could chose the max size for automatic upload or to disable/enable the feature by default)

When you are editting, uploading a set of files, testing and then 'going-around-the-loop' it would be great if the Filezilla FTP client had a keypress/function-key that would repeat the last transfer!

This could take the current 'selection' of files from the file view/use a history/log/queue information.

This would really help and make the operation slicker when bugfixing/debugging remote files.

The -/+ buttons that appear in various places throughout the interface overlap labels that appear to their right. An example includes the "Adjust server timezone offset" fields in the "Advanced" tab for a site in "Site Manager" ... the -/+ buttons overlap "Hours" and "Minutes" (see screen capture). Screen capture is from Fedora 26, where FileZilla is compiled against GTK3. I will also add a screen capture for reference showing how this looked when it was right in Fedora 21 (when FileZilla was compiled against GTK2).

Something that crossed my mind while I was busy with several FTP-connections.

If you have FTP-connections in several tabs, rightclicking the tab allows you to set a priority to that connection.

in Prior versions (0.x) we had the ability to permit write, but not delete as well as write, but not list. In reading the forums, you has suggested that blocking delete was bad and you were not going to be brining that back (those were not the exact words).

The use case that I have is a single anonymous dropbox where people can easily just drop a file. Often this is a one time ad-hoc event, so creating a dedicated user account, while possible. is not always quick/simple.

Having "anyone" (anonymous) be able to delete a file that anyone else uploaded is not idea. If brining back the ability to prevent anonymous from deleting, can you consider the ability to remove list perms from anonymous account ? This would permit users/client to drop a file, but they can not see other files that were also dropped.

should be a way to request that files should overwrite existing files for this one transfer only - seems as if when you select this option for asingle file then you must keep selecting - if you say make this the default then that is the default from then on and it doesn't ask again.

Shutting down dows not always work. it is frought with problems. it frequently fails on my machine because certain programs crash during shutdown.

something that *always* seems to work is hibernation (except on compaq laptops where function keys "quickkeys" are broken, there a shutdown is fine). it is also preferable in some cases.

There are a lot of times when I will have a multi-gigabyte upload in process over several days or overnight, and I want the machine to hibernate itself after the queue is done.

I don't like shutting the machine down. I have a lot of apps I like to keep running and files I like to keep open (as a developer and a multitasker).

different things for different situations. Hibernation also applies to Linux, if Filezilla ever is available for linux (or mac?).

I have enabled Active-Mode in Transfer-Settings but FileZilla still sends the PASV command to the server to obtain the directory listing. That is where it stops. Since I don't have access to the server and can't change anything on the server side it would be nice if you can have a look at this issue. And the problem is not in my network configuration, because ws_ftp manages to connect to that server in active mode without any problems. I even can reproduce the problem with a simple linux ftp command line client outside of our firewall. As soon as I send the PASV command to the server, it stops responding. Without the PASV command, the connection works fine.

I have the need to download a lot of litlle files with the original date/time information. Why your client has choosen to apply the 'actual' date/time instead of keep the original ones?

would be very useful to have the Site Manager accessible from the Jump List of the FileZilla shortcut in the taskbar, or the option to use the Quickconnect list instead so we can open the program directly connecting to a server.

If I have a sftp connection open it will be useful to direct jump into ssh-terminal. If username/password saved this can add to the ssh-terminal, too.

The winscp application have implemented this function ;)

Now when filezilla goes to parent directory it makes selected '..' directory on top of list.

I'll save some time if filezilla in this case makes selected directory from which I'm returned.

P.S. Sorry for bad english.

It would be very helpful to have icons on the toolbar to be able to connect directly to a site in site manager without having to open site manager or click the dropdown. The dropdown, while convenient, is very small and both I and several others who use the software have often said we thought it would be a good idea to do this.

Better yet, a command line ability to connect to a site in site manager via icon on the desktop.

I suggest to add right-click menu as toolbar for local and remote view. I attached a mock up. it is ugly but enough to tell you idea!.

in "transfer queue" view, when i downloading a file, it will show how long the file can be downloaded. for example "00:02:05 elapsed 00:04:57 left...", such prompt message can be seen, it is very good, which can make you known how long you need to wait for downloading for this file.

but, annoyed thing for me, is, that i care about not only for 1 file, but for all files. I want to know, for all files in my queue, how long can I download them all. This is very useful, even more useful for one file downloading time estimation.

I do not know why you guys do not add such a feature. I suggest you can add it.And I suggest the whole downloading time estimation can be shown in right-bottom status zone.

Hope You can accept this feature, and hope i can see it in future version.

I frequently use the search function to find a specific file and download to the local folder I am working in, then 5 minutes later, search for another unrelated file and download to the same folder. There is no function to just...DOWNLOAD straight from the search window like there is if I were just perusing the remote directory. It prompts a "Download to:" dialogue every time. But within a single day that I am working, 99% of the time, this is the same folder, and I have the same requirements of the path structure and queueing. I just want it downloaded *now* with a flat structure. But it never remembers my settings, and as near as I can find, there is no option to make it remember.

If I knew already which remote folder the file I need was in, I could just sort through the list there, hit Return, and it would download, but it could be in one of several folders, and I rarely know which I'll find it in. Just an option to remember preferences would be an incredible help. Thanks.

If I try to upload a file from my local machine that has been moved or deleted, it uploads a blank file instead of failing.

I use some language environment of computer. Often Filezilla un useful on server that use UTF-8 charset to filenames. Because, I want to function of filenames transfer server charset to client charset.

Hello. I have just downloaded FZ and I have to say that is quite nice. I have a suggestion for a new feature, that is quite simple to develop and useful for all those use tools such as Adobe Dreamweaver. When I upload a file to a server I have to make myself sure that in the "remote files" panel must be selected the same correpondent directory where the file is destined to, or I will put the file in the wrong place. This is quite annoying because it can be necessary to edit files that are located in different directories, for several reasons. For instance it could be needed to edit a functions file, while a CSS together with the file that uses both. If I have three branches I have to seselct each time the different remote directory where I have to put each file, one at a time. With a "parallel directory" feature this couldn't be required, because each file belongs to a directory, both local and remote. This is a feature that is missing on the various FTP clients I have seen and used, and I think it is quite useful for professionals.

I really like your Software, it's fast and reliable, but there is one function that would make it perfect:

In addition to filezila, I am using a free, feature- reduced version of ftp-uploader (​http://www.ftp- uploader.de/), which uploads all changed files on a local directory-tree to a specified server. In the registered version, it would do this automatically, that means, it would run in the background, detects changes automatically and startes the upload of the file. In the free version, the program does this only on button press.

It would be fantastic, if FileZilla would offer this feature as an option the configured Servers, so every user can choose, if he wants to work manually or have everything be done without a click.

I hope you find my wish usefull and consider implementing.

FileZilla client allows you to edit downloaded files and when you save the result it will ask you whether you want to upload them again.

In my case I am working with two different servers running the same software. On the local side I use the same Temp directory for both.

Now the problem

• I started with downloading for server A and after editing it was uploaded again.
• now I disconnected from server A and connected to server B. There I downloaded the same file (that is: a file with the same name). After editing it I was again asked whether I wanted to upload it. But according to FZ the file was then uploaded to server A. I was disconnected from it, yet I didn't get an error message. As far as I could check it was indeed uploaded to A. It certainly was not uploaded to B - what it should have been.

Borrowing a design concept from Mozilla Firefox, it is kindly requested to implement an optional method to clear private data upon exiting the application.

Perhaps introducing a page under Settings could facilitate this feature. The behavior of this page would allow the user to select any or all of the private data categories (Clear quickconnect history, Clear reconnect information, Clear Site Manager entries, Clear transfer queue) to clear automatically when closing the application.

The way the transfer process is design causes an unnecessary slow down when transferring a large number of files at once. The process appears to be:

1) parses through the directories to get a list of files to transfer. 2) after parsing through all directories and generating a list of files to transfer, place an entry in the queue for each item in the list. 3) after placing each atem from the list into the queue begin tranferring the files

By changing the process to begin tranferring files as they get entered into the queue would speed things up dramatically when tranferring a lot of files. Furthermore, in this regard it would then further speed things up to begin adding files to the queue as they are gathered instead of waiting to build the entire list of files to transfer.

Sometimes when I'm downloading an archive, I'll just add the whole directory by dragging it to the queue pane.

When I do, filezilla will recursively go through the directory structure and add each file. Just like it's supposed to.

But sometimes when a subdir has lots of small files in it, filezilla will spend so long adding those to the queue that it seems to lock up. And it'll loose the ftp connection and be unable to continue traversing the directory stucture for the rest of the files.

The more that gets added, the slower things go. And it'll reach a point where filezilla just locks up for a couple minutes or more and the connection times out and it wont finish adding the rest of the stuff.

Even though the files being added are small and could be downloaded pretty quick, by this point, filezilla is spending more time adding a file to the queue than it would probably take to just go ahead and download it.

i have many (for example 100) bookmarks in FileZilla for my site. it is undesirable for me to work with a confused bookmark list :|

i suggest you to add categorize feature to bookmark part of Filezilla.

doubleclicking the label "Local Site" should bring up a browse window to locate a folder quicker, as the normal treeview/address is too small, especially because of the vertical layout and the remote view. also, "Desktop" should be one of the options

In previous versions of filezilla, ive been able to login to an ftp site automatically via sitemanager, then select manual transfer from the Transfer menu, select a file to upload manually, and set the associated options for the upload, then just click the ok button, and the file would upload "automatically" without me having to put in the login details, as it would automatically use the login details for the currently logged in session.

This process no longer seems to work in filezilla 3.50.0, ive been scractching my head over why my file was not succesfully uploading, as in the past it would just automatically work.

i tried experimenting with the settings on the manual transfer menu, but i can only get the login details to fill in correctly if i fiddle about a bit.

The actual sequence i need to follow to get the correct login details to be pre-filled, is a bit bizarre, and i shouldnt need to do this, it should follow the same behaviour as it always did in the past which was to default to the using the login details etc for the currently logged in server.

Here is what i need to do now, to get it to fill in the correct login details when i switch to manual transfer, when i am already logged into a server:

I need to click the "use server from site manager" radio button then the "Select Server" button and select the same server that i am currently logged into. This on its own does not fill in the password, as you would expect, instead, i then need to go back and click the "Use server currently connected to" radio button, and then it fills in the password field correctly.

This is a pretty odd bug, i hope you can fix this as its very annoying.

Hello. I'm having a problem since some versions of Filezilla FTP with screen reader, because I'm visually impaired. We use the "tab" key to navigate between filezilla options such as host, user, password, port etc etc. When we arrive at the field, which is a read-only text field where the server logs are (messages of files transferred successfully, connections made or that an error occurred), we could no longer exit this field by pressing tab or shift+tab. I would like you to please look into whether there is any way to fix this as we use this FTP client a lot and it is the best ever. The screen reader I'm using is Open-source, available at ​https://github.com/nvaccess/nvda

Hi, can you add functionality to upload files on multiple sites preselected from the list.

Running FileZilla on a Win7 netbook with a screen resolution of 1024 x 600 is no problem. However, when checking for a software update, a new window pops up (indicating that a new version is available), but the buttons allowing to choose to install this update (or cancel) are not visible (should be at the bottom of the screen), and there is no way of navigating there (the window is taking up the full screen height already, but no scrollbar appears).

FileZilla Pro 3.62.2 on Win 10 22H2 This won't connect to a directory with many entries that FileZilla (not Pro) will connect to. On the same website I can connect to small directories. I see the "retrieving directory listing of" message and then nothing for 20 seconds so it times out, twice. That same directory is easy to reach from linux running the open source version of FileZilla (not Pro) and on another computer running an old version of FileZilla (not Pro), v 3.38.1

s3 connections to normal aws buckets work correctly. i cannot access govcloud s3 buckets. suspect there is a different s3 endpoint to use or another setting.

recommend offer both S3 and S3 Govcloud as separate options for Protocol and make it automatically configure the correct endpoint.

I want to connect to ftp.digiland.it associated to IP 213.209.17.162 but filezilla always points to IP 212.48.15.179

Filezilla 3.5.1 cannot connect to sftp servers with either key based or password based methods. Logs with debuging/verbose=3 attached.

I have verified that this is not a function of my system by repeating on an independent box with the same results. As well, I am pretty sure that nothing is wrong with the server because I used "sftp -P 34451 facade@mars" from a shell and connect just fine. As well, using gftp, I am able to connect. The Host OS is Archlinux x86_64 which is up-to-date (Arch is a rolling release).

make connection to dvi and then select file from pc to copy to dvi (toppfield). It says transfer was successful but file did not appear in target directory. can copy file to other folders on the dvi. folder that having problem with is called MediaFiles and is used to play mp4 files on the dvi for viewing on the TB.

Before I could drag files from the local panel to the mail app icon in my dock, a new mail was created with the file as attachment. Noticed in 3.37.3 that this doesn't work any more.

After latest update i cannot hold down shift button and select multiple folders. I cannot hold down ctrl button and select multiple folders. Have been using filezilla for years and years and this is the first time this issue has happened. Assuming it is an issue with latest upgrade. below is cut and paste of info

The new Filezilla client does not list symbolic link that are on the sftp server.I am using surge fpt as server. I have a symbolic link in my home dir that is called sftp_data and i cannot see that link with the latest client and with a old client i can see it.

wantet to upload updatet data to SFTP, but I cant localize my data, beacause "You have no authoration to list this directory.

when the directory of file has a lot of subdirectories and FileZilla asks to overwrite a file over an existing file, the options are moved out of window (because of long names in directory) and it's not possible to scroll horizontally or change the size of window.

I just was asked by a colleque who accidently deleted the files while transferring them from source to destination. Would it be possible to build in some kind of check so you cannot delete a file from the source if the the file is in the queue to be transferred.

Like a lot of us, I am using 2 differents ADSL lines, from 2 differents company. I would love to be able to manually choose to which I send files by filezilla (as I don't own a dual wan router).

This enhencement would be a first in the field and would bring filezilla to the upper level.

Using FileZilla 3.2.7-rc1 each time the search dialog is closed the following lines appear in the message log: Status: Retrieving directory listing... Status: Directory listing successful

Furthermore, in case the connection has been closed because of a timeout FileZilla reconnects to the server.

Maybe FileZilla wants to refresh the remote directory listing after closing the search dialog (for the case something new has been discovered while searching). However, I don't understand why this should trigger a reconnect.

I would welcome the ability of queues in the list of the queued files to collapse/expand with a plus/minus sign. (Very much like folder usually do in many applications.)

I'd like to see a command line option in the FileZilla client, allowing to pass a Custom Command to the server.

This would be valuable when scipting automated tasks on the client (the ability to perform remote execution of scripts on the server).

I've been very impressed with the FileZilla tool thus far. However, I can see a possible improvement. Hopefully, I haven't overlooked this functionality in the tool or it's documentation.

I'd like the ability to invoke FileZilla from the command line. If I had a FileZilla Queue saved to a file, I'd like the ability to from a command line do something like:

"C:\ftpdir\filezilla.exe 'myqueue.xml' - processQueue=quietly -logfile=myqueue.log"

and, without the interface opening up, see that FileZilla is processing the queue and putting the log information into the given log file.

Is this functionality present? Is it possible? Do you think it may be included in the future?

I work on servers with multiple developers and we don't have a good solution in place for that. A great feature would be when you click the edit button it compares the date of your local file to the date of the remote file and if the remote file is newer than the local file it brings up a prompt and asks you if you want to download the remote file before editing. This should have an ability to turn this on or off in settings.

Actually filezilla seems to accept only the private keyfile stored in the default settings from putty. The log shows that it checks only this one and not all keys added to pageant - so I always have to change putty's default settings if I want to access a server with a different keyfile. It will be more convenient to allow the preselection of the keyfile in the servermanager for each account separately. Maybe this could be achieved in a similar way like pscp which accepts a commandline like this one which I use from a perl script to update a file directly from an SciTE or Geany: pscp.exe -i keyfile -l user "localpath" host:remotepath. If the keyfile is loaded in pageant it will be used without an additional passphrase request.

I updated FZ yesterday from 3.57.0 to 3.59.0 on Windows 10 and when I try connect to two different Ubuntu servers (sftp ssh protocol) I receive the same error message: Statut : Connexion à (IP):(port)… Réponse : fzSftp started, protocol_version=11 Commande : open "username@IP" port Erreur : Connection interrompue après 20 secondes d’inactivité Erreur : Impossible d’établir une connexion au serveur note that I have a second pc, with FZ still on 3.57.0, which work perfectly

Sometimes FileZilla connection seems to timeout or something similar. As leaving connection open for 15 minutes, returning and trying to upload. File will be added to upload queue but it wont be uploaded.

Trying to move around in server folder is also not possible.

Clicking disconnect and connect again fixes the issue. Or simply reconnect.

When a file is downloaded and invalid characters are replaced in filename on the client, directory comparison does not consider both files to be the same.

When transferring files the "file already exists dialogue" does not show date/time and size of the file to be overwritten.

The ability to force the case on files being transferred in either direction to be either all lower or all upper case, or left alone.

Extremely useful when dealing with files generated by others that are in all sorts of weird cases, that shoule be one way or the other.

I think it should be a menu like the "New" menu in Windows Explorer. And when the user clicks, for example, "New Text Document", FileZilla should create a new text document in the temporary directory and then upload it to the server.

All the other menu items should be also available:

1 - New Word document 2 - New Microsoft powerpoint etc.

That helps the user to create some customised template in Windows Explorer and use them in FileZilla. The user may want to create some templates like:

New HTML document New PHP file New Smarty template etc.

And he will be able to use these templates in FileZilla as well as Windows Explorer.

All this applies to KDE, GNOME and other graphical environments as well.

I would like to see the ability to cut, copy, and paste files between both, local and remote directories.

Accordingly, cut/copy/paste icons should appear in the toolbar and in the right-click (drop-down) menu.

If this feature is ever implemented, then FileZilla would become, for my uses, a replacement for Windows Explorer.

In Advanced tab, "Default remote directory" a spec of /homedir/user/ the ending slash used to be saved. Now you can specify it but it will be saved as /homedir/user (wo the slash).

According to POSIX the difference is with an ending slash it is considered to be only a reference to a directory. Without the slash it can be either a directory or the name of a file.

I found this to be a problem when using secure FTP versions at my new ISP, but not at my previous one. To compare your product some other ftp clients do save the ending slash.

FileZilla does not check if the saved last GUI screen position is still valid upon opening of the software.

• Dual screen system with desktop extension on a second monitor.
• Open filezilla and use it on the second monitor. Then close the program
• Disable the second screen, on a labtop remove the cable for example, the full desktop should now only show on the main/single screen.
• Open Filezilla, it is not visible (or completely visible) as it used the coordinates as if the desktop was extended.

The above is also true if only a fraction of the program is visible on the current desktop.

Solution check upon startup not only if the top-left coordinates are within the current visible desktop area but also if you can see a reasonable portion of filezilla on the desktop. If the top-left coordinate is just within the visible area than you still cannot use the program until you can drag it completely back on the current desktop area.

It would be great if you had the option of making one of the sites in Site Manager the default site, so it would automatically connect when FileZilla is launched.

A unexpected behaviour led to a middle disaster, yesterday. We link to source of a TYPO3-installation via symlink so different installations use one source folder. I cleaned up the server and deleted a test installation with filezilla. Unfortunately fileziller deleted all files in the linked source folder, so all other TYPO3 instalations lost their source.

I just tried: mkdir deletetest fisch:~/public_html$ touch deletetest/eins fisch:~/public_html$ touch deletetest/zwei fisch:~/public_html$ touch deletetest/drei fisch:~/public_html$ ln -s deletetest/ testdelete

Now I deleted testdelete via Filezilla and got: fisch:~/public_html$ ls -l deletetest/ total 0 and still exits: 0 lrwxrwxrwx 1 fisch fisch 11 Jul 28 19:39 testdelete -> deletetest/

Filezilla deleted the content of the linked folder, not the symlink itself. This is not, what I was expecting and can lead to big problems. This should be solved eg. behave as expected and deleting the symlink by default, giving an option in the setting dialog with a choice, how to behave or ask on deleting symlinks.

It would be good if the desktop entry file of FileZilla Client provided key "MimeType".

I don't know whether MIME Types for protocols other than FTP are defined and/or make sense but "x-scheme-handler/ftp" should sure be covered for a start which is what the attached patch does.

In the case of there's files already existing on target directory in the transfer queue, but not at first position in the queue, and FileZilla Client is minimized in the systray :

When the file which already exist is pick in the queue, the dialog box (overwrite, resume, etc.) isn't show and "stay in the systray".

It's only when restoring FileZilla to a window that we see this dialog box.

So it could be a long time before launch the transfer.

Is it possible to always show these dialog box even when FileZilla is minimized ?

If i move my main client screen from the main monitor desktop to the secondary any dialog generated is not visible until I drag the client window. At this point it can be seen located on the main monitor desktop, partially transparent and locked to the movement of the client window.

If I drag the client window far enough in the opposite direction from the main monitor desktop I can grab the dialog and place it on secondary. Whilst the dialog is sitting on the secondary it remains locked to the movement of the client. If i then drag the dialog to the main monitor's desktop, the lock is broken and remains that way subsequently when moved back to the secondary.

After closing the dialog or client having adjusted the position of the dialog to be visible, the state is not retained.

I have not experienced this bug in any recent previous version of the client and it applies as far as I can ascertain to all dialogs, about, settings, connection manager, file overwrite etc.
